Hi! I don’t know if I can explain it well, but 1. your size is based on your waist size. So measure your waist and divide it by 16. So if your waist is 32, then each of your panels have to be 2inch, and 0.5 inches on each side for seam allowance. According to this video, if your waist is 32, you are size S. and you have to mark 1.5 inch from the folded side.
2. So get the quotient of your waist measurement and add 0.5 inch extra. You should get your size like this. I hope it helps!
