I love to camp. Have been doing it for nearly 60 years. Over those years I've had a tiny handful of creepy experiences. Most times it's peaceful and safe. I've learned a few things. First, don't go into the backcountry alone. You should have a like minded partner, or more, go with you. Safety in numbers. Second, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Take in more equipment than you think that you will need. Google the 5 C's of survival. Also, let a reliable person know your plans, and when you plan to return, so they can call authorities if you don't show. Invest in some of the high tech communication equipment that we have today, such as gps locators, satellite phones and such. I didn't have any of this back in the early days. And finally, think security and self defense. I live in bear country, so I have bear spray, but also a firearm. The type and caliber depend on the perceived potential threats. At minimum, I carry my Colt .44 Magnum. Good defense against predators, animal or human. I may carry a long gun. My personal choices are either my Mossberg 500 12 gauge, or my Socom 16 .308 caliber rifle. It's true that being in the wilderness can be a peaceful and exhilarating time. Nature is beautiful, but also cruel and unforgiving. Be prepared to fight for your life if you have to.
100% agree. I like to have an undermount weapon light for my 1911 railed or FN FNX .45. Plus 2 or 3 powerful LED flashlights with a projector lens that can create a wide, circular, white light or narrow to a beam or strobe. Don't let darkness put you at the disadvantage.
In the last story, they just should have sent an undercover police officer on a camping trip into this forest, who looks like a normal person but armed and then just wait until this guy comes to him and finally arrest him.
Better yet, a female undercover officer. For her safety, have 2 or 3 male officers undercover following about 100 yards behind. Radio communication with ear buds for quiet communication. That way the guys can respond quickly should the female cop yells for "officer assistance."
For some reason I just love camping and food delivery stories more than the other ones, there's just something about them I guess. Anyways great video (:
I love camping, food delivery and Airbnb stories too, so much that i myself have made videos on these stories on my channel, but sadly no one watches them.💔
I have backpacked all over America for the last 35 years, most of it solo, and I have never run into anything weird or strange people, just other backpackers occasionally, no Bigfoots and I have backpacked in Northern California & Washington state, no UFO’s or zombies and no banjo playing hillbilly’s on my rafting & canoe trips thank god, all I have seen is a lot of beautiful sights in uniquely different ecosystems.
Sometimes I got this feeling that these creepy and scary people turning out in some stories are as much frightened as the ones who telling the stories. Like here in the first story, or the ones with abandoned cabines in the forrest. Some unfortunate people are actually living in the forrests or in long abandones wooden houses, alone, who knows in what state of mind. Experiencing some teens and random people walking by and actually breaking in in their private area (if we can call parts of forrest private, but we can assume it in cases of abandoned wooden stuff), I imagine it can be really frightening for them. Possibly there are some parts of the forrests where people never hike, so these miserable people will go and live there for some reason. But it doesnt´t make them dangerous right away. This doesn´t make these experiences less scary for the storytellers, I know that. But assuming the worst, because someone walked by and didn´t want to make contact, but haven´t caused any problem either, is just annoying a little. Anyways, I really like your stories, being here since almost the beggning I´m glad to see your channel growing :)
You definitely have some points, but there are also many definite serial killers living outside in these wilderness areas, deep into the forests. Especially in the wild of Alaska as well as within the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalacian trail, etc. They are hard to find or catch out there, and so they prey on unsuspecting hikers. But I believe that there are "feral" people too out there, as well as spirits. There are much between heaven and earth. Stay safe...
Whispered, these videos are awesome. I really like your consistency of uploading, and you are one of my favorite horror story narration channels. This was one of the creepier videos, listening to. I was listening to it in bed in the dark and you got me kept looking at my closet.😂 early congrats on 100 K
The last story, was scary enough and when he said leave the first time I knew he meant leave your stuff it’s mine now! Dude lives out there‼️ Cops don’t find him so he hides well, that’s the scary part 😮😅
Stories like these are why you always bring a gun if you're going camping by yourself. Some creep shows up to rob you in the middle of nowhere? Fire a warning shot, pack up and leave. If they don't run away, well, take care of business, then pack up and leave.
story 3 - creepy man who told OP to leave was like approaching to scare him! i mean dude, no need to come closer to scare OP off! its ok only to tell OP to leave!
I woulda wanted to go back with friends or authorities to pick up my danged things. And these people in the forest are also asking for troubles themselves...one day, they may find a camper is ISN’T intimidated and may be armed.
Or a pissed off army or marines veteran. Doesn't have to he some high speed low drag commando, most veterans in army or marines aren't easily scared regardless of their MOS. It's just part of the make up of being a veteran. And veterans are more likely to be armed and not intimidated. And have had some training to be in the woods.
I don’t get it. People have locks, cameras, security alarms on their homes as protection. Those same people go out alone, in a remote location with no gun, perimeter alarms, high out put lights, or protection of any kind! It just seems crazy to me.
That how it goes when you choose to run Should have stood your ground mate If it was me I would have sprinted to guy and deal with the situation No one goes through my stuff without permission Smh Anyway Love the stories ❤❤❤❤❤
OMG the last story was the worst. How does he call himself a man. Some old creepy guy tells him to leave and like a scared little girl he just gives him his stuff . Wow
Story 2 Okay seriously you went to look for a stranger across the pond? Because of a flashlight? 🤦🏻♀️ Ok they were just robbing you of all your stuff and that’s messed up, but why did you leave your campsite? Sounds like they didn’t want to be seen by you so they scared you further into the woods. If they wanted you dead Sweetie they would have been waiting by your car! 😅 I hope you learned from this, never make the mistake of camping with out a gun‼️ good luck 👍🏻
Your words are futile. There will always be guys like that for me to take advantage of. Yea keep camping guys. The minute I catch ya'll slipping. Its over with. BEST REGARDS CREEPY LARRY.
3rd story was a coward who got strong arm robbed by a bum/tweaker, or alternatively got too close to someone’s pot field. Also you cannot choose whether or not your case gets media attention, nor is it likely the police will even check on a property crime out in the middle of nowhere, let alone organize a search party. I call BS.
First story: Ok I get it they were teenagers and stupid for camping with 0% experience. The person that walked close was looking to see if there was anything to take?! The minute they realized it wasn’t worth it they walked back to their camp 🏕️ spot. The fact is they could have still hurt you guys, but didn’t tells me they were just trying to maybe steal something but you had nothing. When your older lesson 1 take a weapon even a bat ‼️ good luck 👍🏻
The amount of people who go into the forest with no protection for their safety blows my mind. Im bringing at least 3 different items for protection, minimum. One of which would be a large Samauri sword....and a Rifle and Shotty.
First story- my friend and I were in the woods and someone walked near us and now I never go back in the woods ever cause this thing I never saw or interacted with definitely had evil in its heart.

Ya. I want go camping after hearing these stories.
Nice DeVille In the picture 😎
Camping is super fun. One time tho while I was sleeping some bears entered the area, woke us up and we could hear em wandering around
See this is why I have never gone camping in my entire life! I will take my chances with the city any day over the woods!👀
