- Here is University of Exeter vs University College London, 29.5.2014.
Sorry for the missing last two weeks. I was busy/lazy/forgetful of things I have to do, this one included. If the get aired again (sometimes BBC do that), I'll upload them later. For the time being, enjoy
Gunnarrson didn't bother to say that he was from Iceland, he probably thought it was obvious.
Steady on - if your mind gets any narrower, your head might explode!
Has it ever occurred to you that someone with an Icelandic name may never have been anywhere near Iceland! It may be, for instance, that his forebears emigrated from Iceland to the UK centuries ago - is he still then "from Iceland"?
Beware of your own unaware pejudices!
@@thetessellater9163 Steady on - if your mind gets any more selective, your head might explode!
Have you not considered that Peadar Films might be Gunnarsson's best friend and have known them since childhood, and know (that/whether) Gunnarsson identifies as Icelandic?
Beware of your own unaware prejudices!

Absolutely correct counter-assumption. Plenty of Brits with foreign-sounding names whose ancestors immigrated to Britain generations ago. Eg. the Rothschilds, although their name is no longer pronounced Roth (red) -- schild (shield) but Roths--child. (Have, however, always found it bizarre that the contestants have to say where they're from: meaningless information if ever there was any.)
Gunnarrson is one angry fellow
He's Scandinavian. Not angry but they don't smile easily, unlike Brueton.
Thanks for everything, your work is appreciated!
Sage looks remarkably like a young Roger Daltrey, but Pete is missing.
Thanks for your efforts
11:02 Halliday's face; when the vodka hits
Tut tut tut: Senate house is not part of UCL: it houses the admin offices of the University of London
thanks!
Does anyone know which Vaughan Williams piece that was?
Darude - Sandstorm
Sage can't help looking like someone I didn't like at school, but he seems to have the same miserable personality.
Ms Barry smiled and nodded when the round on feminism was announced, then contributed nothing except her blank smile.
The question wasn't actually on feminism, it was on Prime Ministers. They just obliquely referenced feminism in order to ask about Prime Ministers.
Halliday and Sage were good leaders of their teams, but thus far Gabriel Trueblood of Cambridge-St. Peter's and Fred Harvey of Durham remain unbeatable.
Drew was good
omg miss drew did that OMG yas queen!!!
Is Mr Sage the first foreign captain of a team?
given this show has run for many years, with dozens of teams competing, I feel this is most unlikely, but maybe there have been very few relatively.
Brueton lool

Sage, but not sagacious
I got 29 right.
