While I certainly appreciate the visual upgrades for this re-re-release, it becomes abundantly clear why they dropped the “Expanded and Enhanced” subtitle, there’s zero expansion to be seen
Not really disappointed as I was not expecting anything. Crazy how they ruined their reputation with that move... From a money standpoint it was most likely a smart move.

@@ttboosted7634 they added ray tracing, they added spatial audio, they added improved resolution and overall graphics e.g fire and explosions and reflections, they bumped the FPS up from 30 to 60. What else do you want from them? They just optimised it for next gen were u expecting a whole new map or something?
This should’ve been a free upgrade like all other gaming companies do. No reason it should be $10 for PS, and $20 for Xbox. Then $40 after june. We already own the game.

Only thing I can see that's worth anything is it looks like they may have fixed the terrible AA, even on my 3070ti @4k & msaa x 8 I still get nasty jaggies on the road markings

The better anti aliasing is the one reason i will buy gta 5 again. With no jaggies it will look soo much cleaner.

They initially said new content when it was first announced. They slowly backed away from that and even changed the name from “Expanded” and enhanced. Now the only new content will be on gta online, which I think is a bit of a bummer

What's the point of 120hz capabilities in these consoles when only specific games have it and not many.
Couldn't GTA5, a PS3 game run at 120hz on PS5? Surely they could allow it? I'd happily have a mode that keeps PS4 visuals but has 120hz. Would be fun to see such a game in so much fluidity.

Graphics is great
If there's any form of consolation in this, it's that the money they've been milking from these releases is going towards the development of the next installment. We saw how good RDR2 turned out. GTA 6 should be leaps and bounds better than 5, especially considering it will go on at least a decade between installments.
Lets hope, but after rdr 2 so many important people left the company...

Honestly, I know people are mad and taking the piss out of Rockstar, but I am glad I can get this great game, play it at 60 FPS on the PS5 and still enjoy it. I hate Rockstar as much as the next guy but I honestly don't mind them re-releasing GTA V (again). I agree it should be free for people who already own the game however.
