Thank you so much for this video.
I’m a beginner painter who has been holding off completing a mini because I wasn’t confident I could pull off red armour. You have just shown me a way to do it that I can adapt to my mini. This is perfect inspiration, and the paints will be coming out tonight and tomorrow.
Also - the bats look perfect on the base. Nice work.
Love the new vampire releases that they've come out with. Great improvement to the sculpt! Thanks for the tutorial
Agreed
Aww- I was hoping you'd paint the minis' eyes brown, then decide against it, then make them blue. Missed opportunities...
Great job as always, though. One of the highlights of your channel is your ability to get me to watch subjects I actively avoid; not big on fantasy stuff OR star trek, but I'll be damned if I haven't watch you paint tons of both- and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for making an old fart who remembers Crystal Gayle and Pipi Longstockings consistently come out of his comfort zone. Have a great weekend.
Chystal Gayle.... now you're showing your age ;) But her hair length matches that of one of my teachers from... "the before times" XD Kudos for clipping the "hair".
I'm old enough to remember both Crystal Gayle (gorgeous woman with a voice just as beautiful) and Pippi Longstocking! I like how you diverged from the GW look and made this your own vampire lord with your color choices. Nice job!
Ooooooo, you had me at Crystal Gale.
Nicely done, I like the look of the armor and I don't know how I missed this video.
I got the Crystal Gale reference and really enjoyed this video. Great job.
Really like how this turned out. Thank you for sharing and please stay safe.
Excellent work as usual. I stayed away from this figure as I really don't like its sculpt but the haircut you gave it is a great idea.
I suspect that purple for the emblem would have worked better as some kind of shadow to the face, starting from rich dark purple to the character's pale face. But hey, we never know until we try. :)
thank you for sharing!
Would have loved to see this with White/Blue skin with dark eye shadow and white eyes, no pupils and the armor flat White/Grey bone color with red "pulsing" veins paint scheme all along the body.
I see your Crystal Gale. Old people rule!
I dislike the dark red but the haircut I will steal!
Hi, was just wondering if you ever painted soldier type minis from ww2. The videos I've seen are great on the uniforms, but the skins are either very red or brown. I wish I could see your version of said minis.
This model looks infinitely better with the bats on the base instead of in the hair.
What kind of brush do you use and size? Love the videos!
Looks great, though i think it looks a bit Christmas'y with the red and green
The Anti-Santa
The Anti-Santa
