Everyone’s applauding the actress who plays M3gan for her [more than] impressive ability to pull off this role, but additionally, I would like to point out that the young lady who plays the VOICE of M3gan did an outstanding and unforgettable job as well. I see a lot of people assume that the kiddo who plays the physical role of M3gan, also plays the voice of M3gan, which is not the case. The voice of M3gan is performed by Jenna Davis. Jenna is also a talented and aspiring voice actor, actress, singer, songwriter and model. She was a member of a popular UA-cam “squad” made up of young social media influencers that still make content targeted towards their kid friendly audience, so naturally, Jenna earned a pretty large fanbase from a young age. Without the voice of M3gan, the character would be a bit lacklustre, even with the talented actors who successfully won over so many horror/thriller fanatics in such a short timeframe. Every single person who contributed their own visual or vocal talents to this film deserve a standing ovation. Especially the two young ladies who absolutely nailed the iconic (and creepy) attributes of M3gan.
They both deserve significant recognition for their own impressive talents. The character of M3gan wouldn’t be the same without either of them 💐🏆🎬♥️

We know! Jenna Davis voice is good in this movie. The voice has been digitally altered heavily, so it is still Amie Donald that make the M3gan character phenomenal. Her dance went viral and trending. She's perfectly bring M3gan character to life in the whole movie.

The fact that this was primarily done in practical makes me love this movie even more. This was an utterly fantastic movie and I couldn't recommend it enough.
Amie Donald absolutely nailed it playing Megan. She's so talented. I literally saw the movie a while ago. She definitely has great things ahead.
The genius of M3GAN movie is in the details. Her name being Gemma. The choice to lean on practical effects to bring Megan to life rather than relay mainly on CGI.
I was all smiles throughout that whole Amie interview, she's such a unique individual who posses an infectious personality and a very impressive resume for someone so young.
As a New Zealander I am so proud that they used her talented smooth movements unfold into her 'World wide' Robot character that were created by American producers.
The actress that plays Meagan is so talented, an amazing performance.

Amie Donald took the direction she was given amazingly, truth to be told she was given limited direction on her movements portraying movements of robotics. Put it this way, this kids hard work made up for the lack of direction she was given in portraying robotic movements which you don't see such talent doing that bc of lack of direction but she did. Bravo Amie Donald
These 2 kids were the best part of the movie! Instant classic.

This movie was very entertaining. They gave M3GAN a lot of personality and made her bloody fun. The only thing that for me was a little jarring about the movie was what M3GAN's retail price is supposed to be in the film. For a robot that could do what she could, her price seems too low. If she were real, the US military would order thousands of M3GANs, put little helmets on them, hand them weapons, and turn them loose on any country that mildly inconvenienced the United States. Great idea for a sequel....

Absolutely amazing film, one of my favourites in the last few years.
Slight spoilers, there's a scene suggesting the prototype cost "$100,000 of company money"? $100,000 to build a prototype robot....mate, it' would be a billion dollars surely! I figure both this development cost, and the $10,000 RRP were not intended to be entirely accurate.
Perhaps it's a razors, and razor blades model, or selling a cheap printer, then VERY expensive ink. $10,000 for a titanium/ceramic self learning android sounds amazing value.....but the thing constantly mines your data? Or you have to pay $1000 to unlock each new feature? This is hinted at with the "PurrPetual pet" toys - constant iPad games, feeding them etc etc etc - ongoing purchases creating a revenue stream for the company.

I wanna know how they got Ronnie Cheng for this film. All throughout the film I was wondering why the CEO sounded so familiar. And then it hit me, THATS RONNIE CHENG!!! he's a comedian that made me laugh until I cried a few weeks ago.

I hope she gets plenty of opportunities to do the work she wants to do as she grows older (nothing wrong with putting 'horror icon' on the old resume) If there is a part 2 (& you know there will be) I hope she gets the chance to play the physical part (otherwise whomever gets that opportunity will have pretty big shoes to fill)

They need to hop on a sequel quick if they want to have the same performance from the young actress playing Megan. They don't stay young for long, and people will notice if Megan walks a different way because it's a different person playing her.
I was thinking the same thing. The little girl physically playing the robot will have a specific way of moving, particularly as a trained dancer to boot. Non dancers move in a less disciplined way if that makes sense. The little girl really nailed the robotic nuances - very talented especially given her age
Both the physical and the voice actress of M3gan impressed the heck out of me 👏

Well M3gan was super cheap to make, 12m$ which if you didn't know was nothing- its absolutely nothing - by Hollywood standard that's about £4.70, and it tripled it's budget at the box office with rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Watch this space! M3gan 2.0 will be coming at ya!

Using practical effects for M3gan was the best they could do and it worked perfectly. Also the girl did fantastic job with the movements. That was pure talent and imagination involved.
I do believe that the unsung heroes of the movie and TV industry are the casting departments. They can make or break a movie or a TV series, yet no one pays much attention to them. I don't know much about the Oscars or the Emmys but they should establish an award for best castings in a movie or TV series if they haven't done it already.

But I am referring to the fact that we usually forget that to achieve a masterpiece the work of casting must also be at a master level. Many works have been ruined because the cast was badly chosen and some other times the dream cast was achieved by pure chance, For ex. the Leone's trilogy. Every major Hollywood movie star refused to work for him because either he was unknown, they didn't like his plot or simply they wanted too much money so he had to work with people he could afford, a Clint Eastwood, a Lee Van Cleef, a Lee Wallach, yet everyone one agrees now that they are perfect in their roles. Even in TV series, like The Shield for ex., there are great scenes with extras or common people that last less than a minute and they are so good because the casting dept. spent and entire day auditioning a hundred people for a character who speaks a few lines. That is why I think not many people realize the great work done by the casting people in many of these movies and TV series
