I've been drinking George Dickle for longer than you have been alive. Was stationed with a guy that his dad worked at the distillery. And he got many bottles from his dad some were experimental bottles and this was in the late 70’s I will continue to enjoy George Dickle till I can't. I drink pretty much everything from bourbon to scotch so my palate is very diverse and I consider myself lucky that I can enjoy all these whiskies.
I was alive in the 70's but I DEFINITELY wasn't drinking any bourbon at that point! 😁 I really enjoyed this bottle and think it's very solid. I think for the price especially, it's something folks should be paying a lot more attention to. Thank you for watching and contributing! CHEERS! 🥃🥃
You have the 2022 13 year - batch #4, distilled fall of 2008 there. It’s a decent pour, but the 2024 12 year - spring 2011 is great. Rich cherry/chocolate with just a little of that Dickle tickle on a medium finish so you know what you’re drinking. Cheers 🥃
@@b1gsteve251 Holy Cow!! Can you tell that from the pic of the bottle??? That's GREAT info for sure! Thank you for watching and for sharing. I'll be sure to keep my eye out for the '24 bottling. 🥃🥃
Well, Jack is the standard bearer in the industry, so I get it for sure. But it is interesting how established Dickel is and how well they do their craft, but everybody still looks down their noses at them. I'm not quite sure why. I guess maybe it's because they really don't have any high end, mind blowing product. But, they win by getting their juice in lots of other brands bottles that people pay high dollar for without knowing they're just drinking Dickel. 😁 CHEERS! 🥃🥃

The Dickle rye from the 70’s and 80’s is amazing whiskey.

I live in Nashville and even here Dickel is the red headed stepchild to the almighty Jack Daniel's.
