Volksgarten ist the worst park in all of graz 😂 You should have instead definitely visited the university district, stadtpark, kaiser josef platz and augarten. These are the places where people and especially students come together in the evenings and on warm summer days, after all, it is a student city. The buildings are not built after hungarian ones, but instead Graz was build after southern german towns, which was not typical for austrian towns in that era. The were also huge influences of the italian renaissance and italian artists. It's a pity it rained when you were there. When you come back, do it in the summer; in my opinion, the city is especially beautiful then.
Nobody wants to live here. It’s expensive, loud, they banned all greenery, everyone is stressed. The Uni is my absolute nightmare and everyone knows everyone without reaching out. It’s like a ghost town. You can’t even get out if you don’t own a car and if you have one, you don’t know where to put it. Even the museums are damn dumb. It’s like no one ever thinks things through. The lighting is horrible, the way they present things is dull. Even the sidewalks just tend to end suddenly and if you find a way through some shrubs, it’s usually a one way street and everyone stumbles after one another. No wonder this small city has two facilities, who cater the insane. It’s like being stuck and never ever be able to leave. There is no place on earth more unfriendly, more unkind and harsh. But you make the mess look actually pretty. Nice job. Just don’t stay.
have been there, can reccomend!

Beautiful City 😍
never heard of Graz, but interested to visit!
Really pretty out there
Austria and Hungary were very similar hundreds of years ago. They were part of the same empire. Graz is also one of the safest cities in the world.
But why so much graffiti??
Lovely place!
It was!
Planning on visiting here in December
You will love this city :)
I have no doubt . Going to see the Krampus festival . Any suggestions on hotels ?

Hushhhhhh. We're trying not to advertise and stay under the radar, sans too much tourism traffic. Let it go to Wien/Salzburg/Innsbruck, bitte.
