I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make amends be happy for them.
You know, I've been wondering. I think its super great that Pastor Bill Johnson reads some jokes to lighten up the room before the sermons. I was wondering what was the reason behind that decision? It'll be great to learn about that.

This is so true. Please pray for my MIL who has developed paranoid schizophrenia due to life long bitterness and unforgiveness. She has cut off my family and disowned my husband as she thinks we are conspiring against her. My husband and I worked through our forgiveness, but we don’t want to see her condition worsen!

When saying bitter people can't be trusted, when some are put in the position after having their reputation tainted by words, why would there be trust? Especially in church where judgment is the goal in determining ones faith. If there's bitterness & distrust in the church, don't ignore the fighting sheep my shepherd, deal with it.

Not by mystically revealing secret truths. 99% of all believers totally ignore that commandment, and THAT'S why Jesus said many will stand at the Gate crying about how they had prophesied and cast out demons in His name only to hear Him say that He knows them not, because they did not do the will of the Father. He clearly told us that we would perish only from a lack of knowledge.* *Now with that said, I tell you that Amos **8:11** has been perfectly fulfilled right under our noses! That's where God said He would send us a famine for hearing His word in the last days. I studied this thousands of hours by watching hundreds of videos our Brothers and Sisters are making when they find proof of what was written in the KJV 10 years ago +/-, which they refer to as "residue"...my name, get it? I studied my KJV since 1961 and memorized many verses out of it word for word, and I can draw a picture of my baby stroller. I made a playlist from this research and the films in it show lots of ''residue'' and point out all the end time prophecies which were actually about this phenomenon but were misinterpreted previously because we had no idea they could happen **_supernaturally!_** What's funny is how many "Christians" scoff at the idea when claiming to believe all the stories in their bibles that were just as incredible.
