Very little downforce is created at the trailing edge of the splitter so making some sort of slip on bracket should be easy so splitter removal would be much easier.
@@ajhartmanaero thought about that but because i run cables to hold the splitter front and sides and do a slip thing in the back, the splitter can move to the front and get out of it. Could do something to hold it in place too. Also watching your videos, amazing. Will definitely take some ideas haha
I got it all from Lowes. Go to the aisle with the tension cables or chains and everything is gonna be all bunched up together. The quick release thing I got is from harbor freight in the tension cable aisle too. If you find ny previous splitter videos you can see some of the hardware.
I got mine from Fast Signs. You can check your sign shops near you and call for estimates. Alumalite is still aluminum on both sides so it drill the same
this is a old video and you might now respond lol but im interested in mounting my splitter onto my chassis too did you get all your hardware from your local hardware store(home depot / ace hardware / lowes)? and is it just 4 hangers that are holding the splitter?
@@ARomanRacing ahaha yes "tension cable" as I was browsing thru my Lowe's website for pick up, I couldn't locate those "metal wire" with holes lmao But I found the tension cables. Thank you.
Perfect time to install vents under your splitter. Added cooling efficiency for your front heat exchangers.
I am gonna end up doing splitter diffuser, even more downforce haha
@@ARomanRacing Yeah I saw Verus Engineering make some nice ones for the BRZ TA car they're working on.
I know thsi was 3 years ago but where did you get the alimnite composite
Hey man can you make me the same one same set up for my 2017 wrx please I like it with the rods style or the same style as yours either way

ARomanRacing yes.

@@CHASEtheDRIVE. awesome Thanks. Shoot me a message if you got any questions
Where you get those front and side splitter quick releases or what you use to make it???
Its called a fork terminal and i got them from harbor freight by the tension cable section. Cost around $6
ARomanRacing thanks for the quick response. Awesome looking splitter btw
@@ka-tengboyz5473 thanks! 💪
Yes made and sponcer by the home depot.
Its actually sponsored by Lowes hahha
ARomanRacing lmao 😂 at least it lowes, home depo is for hondas 🤔. That splitter look agresivo sell me on when you come down to Atlanta
How did u keep the cut Alumalite edges clean looking without the plastic insides exposed?
The rubber trim hides all that. Believe me it aint pretty but the trim covers it all up lol
Interesting. I like the set up, keep making videos!!
Very interesting! Where can i buy this aluminate? And is easier to drill then aluminum?
I got mine from Fast Signs. You can check your sign shops near you and call for estimates. Alumalite is still aluminum on both sides so it drill the same
@@ARomanRacing dank! Drilling aluminium is such a hassle, you use a jig saw or you tell that company to cut that plate for you?
@@島袋誠-z6k well it is a very thin aluminum. I use a jig saw with a blade to cut metal. Cuts like butter
@@ARomanRacing Dank! thank you so much! i be a loyal subscriber now!
@@島袋誠-z6k thank you 🙏
Where'd you get the cable and tensioner?
The cable and all the other stuff is in Lowes. All in the same isle. For that little quick release, it is in harbor freight
@@ARomanRacing Sweet thanks! Awesome build, just subscribed
@@17Kawasakikid awesome! Thanks
I saw some gentleman on Instagram use chains for their splitter. Thoughts? 🤣🤣🤣
Just saw that lol. That is a little loose 🤔

Got all my hardware from lowes. 4 points on the front are mounted with cables, 2 in the back are bolted straight to the frame
