    People in these comments don’t seem to understand Nicks whole point. Whether you agree with the call or not they said they are going to do it. They commit and then they leave him to get thirsted. He downs one and hurts another one. They reacted way too slow to help him.
    He got stuck. Popped a whole battery. Downed one. Cracked another. And his team still wasn’t there to stop him from getting thirsted. Unacceptable.

      THIS, seems like everyone in the comments just brushes off that both of Nicks' teammmate agreed to his call, and half assed it, instead of fully committing. They didnt voice their objections while nicks gave out the suggestion, they said "Yea". As far as the arc star goes, dudes focusing to much on it, yes it was a mistake, but nothing bad came out of it. The arc star wasnt the reason the fight was almost lost.

      @@19ryuusei The problem was only 1/3 of the team fully committed to the wipe in and out. You can tell the team they were fighting had no intentions of even living through it the moment Nick went for the wipe play. That’s why they went for the thirst in him. They just wanted that 1kp.

    Can’t believe it but Nick is right here - he told them the plan before anything even happened and they just dipped leaving him. I don’t agree with the play in general, should’ve just held them out, but they agreed and can’t just back out in the middle of it.

      I agree I think if they just ratted at the top of the hill after seeing the team evac there, the team just walks up to them naturally and they can sweep em more cleanly without giving up good position

    • @ILovetheYOUTUBYS
      @ILovetheYOUTUBYS 6 місяців тому +4

      I see what hes going for though, if that team, TSMEX, rotates there then they have to take the stairs/height. If tripods push them early and q up to height they essentially have TSMEX trapped in a kill trough both up top and against the hill side. If deeds had horizon q then he could have dodged the arc and stayed engaged on height. Nicks play was good, i think the position just baited his team because there is a much easier but leas aggressive play there by waiting. But even waiting at the top of the hill for ring to close gives TSMEX a chance to use ults in their walk up or a team could come from behind tripods. I see what nick is going for. Hes trying to make tripods more proactive. They already mastered how to play safe, i think he wants to then to start playing risky.

    • @jrolla1858

      I’m pretty sure the thinking was if you let them live there and a team gets behind them they’re now in a really bad pinch where their forced to ape one of the teams for KP, Nick had the right call imo I think they all need to be more aware during the fight, Nick not comming he’s pulling a bat through the arc or calling deeds off from pulling back and he doesn’t get full killed.

    • @DonaldPrizwan

      they should have been sliding and shooting as TSMEX's toes were touching the ground. there was some hesitation, which could have been fine and they probably should have just shifted to a gatecamp. i feel like nick needs to be a little more flexible as things happen in game.

      @kylenguyen3529 6 місяців тому +1

      I can understand Deeds & Gents logic of falling back a little because they see TSMex are forced to move in to open space without cover. The spot where they fall back on is actually the only piece of cover on zone close. So they know they are going to deal a ton of damage whilst taking very little damage bc they can just peak in and out of cover.

    • @JamokeEnoch
      @JamokeEnoch 6 місяців тому +2

      I agree with your take on their logic but where I falls apart is when you’re in a 3v2 with one cracked and there is a Cat ult down. You either all back off or you follow the plan, push through the wall and get the wipe. If the boys didn’t run away to find cover Nick never gets thirsted and they have a full 3 man walking into end game from a power position.

    • @JamokeEnoch

Nick has been caught out over extending a lot these last couple weeks but this wasn’t one of those times. You don’t argue an agreed upon plan in the moment. You argue it before you agree to it. Looks like a miscommunication they def understood that they have to kill them but nick wasnt clear BEFORE the initiation cuz to them and many others holding the platform and letting them run into the open as the ring close in would seems much more sensible and before anyone goes “oh nick def called for them to run in when the enemy just landed” thats true but if nick had been much more detailed on how he would initiate the fight with the enemy team by saying “we are pushing forward right in there face” it would open up a room for more of the opinions of his mates

    Must be fucking annoying to deal with people who argue the way Deeds does, Nick is clearly trying to move the argument forward and leave any animosity for a later review with a more relaxed environment. Deeds clearly doesn't get it and continues to argue to the point where Nick literally has to state that he is genuinely getting mad. Deeds is a kid, understandable.

    Nick's 100% right in that fight, when you agree to a plan you have to stick to it, its better to die sticking to the plan then bailing on it mid fight. they would've wiped in less than 10 seconds got the res and been ready for next fight. It was the right play and would've worked perfectly if they just trusted him in the moment. If they don't trust his calls he shouldn't be igl cause in situations like that you have to trust the igl completely and go with the call.

  • @roldvibe6963
    @roldvibe6963 6 місяців тому

    Deeds stayed with nic, none of the enemies peaked over nic. Then the other team cat walled the tripods off. At that point deeds commed he is going back with gent which makes sense at that point as the enemy didnt peak and catwalled them off suggesting they will rotate. That was a good call. Deeds was walking towards the end of the catwall to peak around it pressure them and defend their flank. Then two enemies immediately dropped on nic instead of rotating along the otherside of their cat wall. Deeds could have stayed with nic despite no enemy presence on their side of the cat wall in case the enemies baited their wall as they did. Either call would be a good call. In fact, peaking around catwall to flank them by deeds is more aggressive than passively staying with nic with no enemy prescence and them likely rotating opposite their wall

    50 damage -> "big damage" bro died to zone and died in the open like 4 times, gent carried like crazy. If they can't macro well in a relatively low level lobby pro league, if they make it, will be just as bad as it was last time. This loot forever and have no actual rotation/zone play doesn't work against good teams.
