The way I cackled throughout this entire video. Dimitri saying "the thought of waking up to you, every morning. That face full of sleep." was just choosing violence. Like Wtf. Their goodbye kiss was just them CLINGING to each other and was just stunning, the whole scene is.

No no no, Mason is saying "F*ck you Dimitri!" because Dimitri just said "Don't tell Rose I've been arrested, if she knows she won't leave". So my theory for season 2 (sad that we'll never find out 😢) was that Lissa and Rose were on the run and Andre is Strigoi, and they're going to find another spirit user to tell them about restoring a Strigoi back to their original self, and I believe that spirit user would've been Oksana (from Blood Promise). Thinking about it, and what the producers drew ideas from, there are 7 known spirit users in the series; Lissa Dragomir, Adrian Ivashkov, Sonya Karp, Robert Doru, Avery Lazar, St. Vladimir and OKASANA, who originally told her about the Strigoi restore in the first place! I think their next plan for season 2 was to find Oksana (by chance, probably) who would tell them how to restore ANDRE (not Dimitri like in the books), and Sydney Sage the alchemist, who would help clear Lissa's name for not killing Queen Marina because of their files and arsenal of information they have on the Moroi. That's my idea, anyway ❤️

I loved most of the changes and how fleshed out the world and characters felt however I don’t love how many of roses storyline’s from the book they are giving lissa. The framing of the queen storyline makes sense for them leaving the academy perceptive but seeing that play out how it did in the book would have been visually incredible and the aftermath of it sets in motion big character arch’s for the likes of Eddie, Adrian, Sydney etc. I love lissa but I love rose as a protagonist so much as she outspoken, brave and not the typical protagonist we are used to seeing on vampire shows/books if they get season 2 it’ll be interesting because they have barely set up anything for her character compared to others.

In Dimitri’s room you can obviously see/feel that love between them, I mean they almost kissed and the way they were looking at each other….I mean come on, he played down how much trouble he’s in and if Rose knew everything she would never leave him and she wouldn’t have let him take the blame…….after she shut the door and left, he did what she did and then kissed his fingers and did you all catch what else he did? ……he sighed after the kiss like a ‘’I love you’’ because he thinks they will never see each other again because he knows what’s about to happen to him 😢
I think the "Fuck You" was more like Mason realizing that Dimitri is right, that Rose would drop all her plans with Mason in an instance, if she knew Dimitri was in serious trouble.
I really enjoyed your video. Very entertaining. I read the books a while back and liked them. This show was a really good adaptation imo. Much better than the awful movie a few years back. I could have watched 2-3 more seasons of this and knowing the story there are some Great interactions between Rose Dmitri and the strigoi to come. Unfortunately they canceled it. There are really too many shows out there . Some are great others pretty good and still fall through. Some really bad ones stay… You never know…

okay, so i will say to me it was somewhat predictable. years and years of watching julie plec shows made me expect certain things, like if we don't see a body, they are most likely not dead. that said, i didn't /predicted/ that andrei was alive but i had my suspicions simply because they gave him too much in the first ep, he hooked up with fucking tatiana and it feels like a waste to cast an actor to kill him off immediately. it was also very strongly leading up to the "big fight" at the end and that it was going to be a strigoi breach. as soon as the queen got poisoned i knew lissa was going to get blamed for it. cause she was there and who are they going to blame? her guardians? no. and since tatiana was the queen in the book it was obvious she was going to become one. and then it's even more apparent that if she does become one, her first thing will be to get rid of lissa, here comes the whole queen assassination accusation. also little things here and there but yeah, there wasn't much that shocked me tbh. so my feelings on this show overall are pretty neutral right now
