We brought together our best #OET Preparation Providers (ALL STARS!) for a massive live event. Each #OET All Star presented a short class on a single topic.
Topics included how the #OET Reading skills will help you on your first day to how to write a professional referral letter in the #OETWriting sub-test.
We understand that #OET is the first step for you in your overseas healthcare career. It is also unique in preparing you for your first day in the ward, the clinic or your healthcare workplace. So we have been determined to provide you with the live sessions to help you prepare for #OET.
In this video you will find some of the highlights of the event; the theme was “Getting you Ready for Day 1”:
- Jo from ‪@OETSLC‬ talked about the importance of listening (to your patient).
- Steve from ‪@OETOnline‬ and #prephourwithsteve discussed demonstrating professionalism and expertise through your medical referral letter.
- Paul from ‪@ttmenglishlive1118‬ spoke about effective communication with work colleagues and its importance.
- Jay from ‪@E2OET‬ talked about accents in the workplace and how to understand more easily and be more easily understood.
- Milen from ‪@IRSGroupAsia‬ showed how OET Reading skills will help you navigate your new workplace’s induction pack.
- Scott from ‪@Swooshenglish‬ discussed OET’s Speaking “Clinical Communication Criteria”.
