Oh my god, finding this channel is definitely the best birthday gift this year! I remember listening to Samaris in 2014, going to your concert in Vienna. I was standing at the back, watching the support act and suddenly you were standing next to me - that was my first real concert back then and my mind just went "woah". Then, not even 30 minutes later, you three were on the stage and the whole location was suddenly filled with a magical aura; you were explaining the background of some of your songs. That concert is a fond memory of mine and definitely is a reason for my love for concerts. I still regret not talking to you guys afterwards, telling you how amazing that was. Then, in 2016 you were back again and I could not go - it was the night before my A-levels, I was *so* sad but told myself that I will be there the next time. Well, the next time did not come. For the last couple of years I hoped in vain for something new from Samaris. Fast forward to today, I was listening to random songs while reading a scientific paper when I suddenly heard a voice that sounded so familiar. I looked at the spotify tab and saw a song called Bones and your name. A couple minutes later I stumbled upon this channel and I could not be more happy about this right now. I was waiting so long for new content and now I have so many pieces of art to listen to! So from someone who really enjoys your music: Thank you and keep going! I hope I can see you live again, someday :)

It felt magical listening to this beautiful piece, walking through the Yorkshire Dales in the shadow of Sharp Haw as the rain patters down. I've bought both scores from Bandcamp this morning and am looking forward to listening in full later today. Thank you xx
