The best Iron Maiden song that Iron Maiden never wrote. Since "Golden Destination" refers to the UK (celebrating their tour there and celebrating the influence the New Wave of British Heavy Metal had on them), I think the decision to write a song in that vein was a conscious decision.

Having the very existence of live shows disappear on us like it did it felt like our connection with all of you had suddenly vanished.
That made the year very hard for us.
It made us think about a lot of things, like what music is to us and what LOVEBITES is...
It felt like our hearts were about to break. Each of us felt lots of different things.
But, what we always thought back to was all of you. All of your faces, voices, cheering us on.
We remembered that and that became a huge motivating force for each of us.
So in the end we spent the past year doing what we could what we knew we had to do, without losing sight.
And we were finally able to bring you something new. We're so grateful for each and every one of you, so this past year wasn't a waste after all.
If not for this year we might not have realized just how precious this time with you all is.
So I don't believe that there has ever been a single thing in our past, nor in our future, that could be considered a waste.
And we realized that music is really something that we couldn't live without.
From now on we want to live a life full of music. We couldn't imagine a world without it, so we know that the only option is for us to look straight ahead and move forward.
We know that it's still going to be a while before things can go back to how they were, but we want to carry on beside you guys all the same.

Haruna: Thanks for all of your hard work for the past four days. I know that things got pushed back a lot but I'm so glad that we were able to do this show without any hickups. Since this tour I feel like we've really coe together as a team and I think it is down to all of you that this show went so well. So I'm very grateful. Thank you so much.

If you watch the MV (don't do a reaction because they always block it) you'll realize that this song is about their first tour on the UK, the times when Miho achieved her dream of visiting the old lands and venues of british Heavy Metal and played at wacken. Miho's journey to her golden destination. So yeah, that's why there is much prominence and a very Iron Maiden's feel in this track.

First did you notice Miyako is not in heels? If you want the background on Miyako's Dean Vee guitar. Enjoyed the reaction. A little info on Miyako's "V" from a guitar nerd. That was a guitar Miyako had built specifically to her specs by the Dean USA Custom Shop. Dean would later release a Korean built Miyako Signature line based on that guitar. Unfortunately, I believe those are only available in Japan. I haven't seen them for sale here in the US at least. But there's an unboxing video on her channel of when she first got hers. It's a rare opportunity to see her smile. New Guitar Day will make even the grumpiest guitarist smile. LOL
I'll admit I'm not the biggest Dean fan but I would love to get my hands on one of her signature models.
I agree. I do have an ESP E-II Horizon in "Reindeer Blue" like Midori's. But those are pretty easy to find on the used market.

I saw Maiden referenced but I honestly think this is Metallica / Megadeth sounding. That gallop; and they obviously put the lovebites stamp on it to make it sound so F impressive! That's what amazes me about them; many ppl like Metallica but don't like anything heavier. Lovebites takes the heavier thrash elements (megadeth, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax) and makes it sound wonderful, appealing to those who normally wouldn't listen to those aforementioned bands, think about it??!! Why they are the best, IMHO! 🐺🦊
I.E., many are turned off by Slayer because of their art work, song names, lyrics, worship Satan (lol), whatever. Lovebites makes the same exact music enjoyable to all! Love Slayer, love Lovebites even more! Wolfpack forever...can't wait for them to come to the states!!

There is a 4-part documentary with English translations just posted where MIYAKO talks in detail about how she customized that signature DEAN and the stack and peddle effects she likes. She also explained that LOVEBITES specifically specializes in "forign" style metal, and this track is case and point. 🤘🐺🤘

Of all their great songs, this is the only one to get a single and is where "Puppet on Strings" and "Spellbound" originally came from along with an orchestral version of "Thunder Vengeance." Whenever I hear a song written by Miho, it makes me wonder about they're inevitable announcement about their new bass guitarist. As much as I love Miho, she'll be easy to replace purely from a musician standpoint. It's not like trying to replace MISA or Miyu where they're doing some crazy, unusual stuff. What concerns me is replacing Miho the performer and Miho the writer. We'll see!

Yeah, this has Iron Maiden written all over it. Back when Maiden was in their prime. Maiden probably wishes they wrote this song! LoL! I could have an entire album of THIS and be totally happy! A lot of people tried to copy Maiden over the years. Nobody does it better than Lovebites! Which is why I keep saying Lovebites is the new Iron Maiden! This song proves it.
