everybody has been so hush hush about this technique, but this tutorial was so clear. great job.
omg I know right! lol that's why I made it, gotta share hehe thank you hun x
CornflakesNoSugar how much do yhu charge fa a vixen sew in
who knew 7 years later you would make such informative and entertaining content...
the purpose of this video was to show you how to do the weave. i think people are too focus on the client and her hair texture than the reason behind the video although she could have used another model with relaxed hair i still think she did a good job on the demonstration. You can never please everybody . Good job
I agree with you.
I agree! This video was done to show how to do a vixen sew in. Yes it could have been a little better but for what it was, I say it gets a pass from me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Everyone is not going to have the same opinions on things. Can I get a amen? Lol
Desire Smith YES GIRL BUT ADMIT IT THAT WAS TOUGHER THAN NIGERIAN HAIR IN MY LIL WAYNE VOICE
Desire Smith Why does she need a model with relaxed hair? A good press will make your hair look relaxed. I know, I'm transitioning, and I press my own hair (hair stylist here).
Desire Smith I agree a 100%.
Well I personally think the video was clear enough to get the point across. The idea of the video was to show the technique and you did just that. . . 👌👌👌
This isn't the best version of this technique that I have seen to be honest. The braiding was bulky and big, not flat and smaller plus the styling of her hair was really bad with the blending because the hair was not straightened properly.
But did u understand how to do it?
Well, I was looking for the best braiding technique I could find so I was researching to see different ones. I braid better than this anyway so this really wasn't for "learning" in particular. I've seen many tutorials so I already understand the basics. I'm just trying to find one with a braiding style that I'm pleased with and this definitely was not it.
***** did you fail comprehension class in school or something? I never said I was better. If anything, I KEPT saying that I was LOOKING for a better technique and not to do it myself but if I wanted to have it done, I know how its suppose to look. And it IS needed, its called constructive criticism. If no one stated how they felt about the performance how would she know where she needed to improve and where she did well? I didn't insult the woman to poke jokes at her life or anything. I stated how I felt about the tutorial, that's it. There were plenty of ppl saying the same thing I did, I was just detailed in my description on purpose. That's what the comment space is for... Sensitive much?
Michele Davis you clearly said "i braid better than this anyways" so i guess its you that failed comprehension class lol
Beautilicious Diva you're right I did to respond to some other comment but that wasnt my initial statement which is what IM referring to in the first place. Everyone is missing the big picture and doesn't know the difference between a negative comment versus constructive criticism which was really the point I was making. It wasn't about me being better or learning anything because I'm not doing it. I was just trying to find the ideal version of this style.
You did a really good job but she should've had a perm or a REALLY good flat ironing b/c her real hair texture isn't blending. Other than that, thumbs up
Exactly
i think the hair look cheap n greasy
porshiag Yeah it does unfortunately.
its not about the weave its the technique..stay focused ppl
Smh at these comments the lady did a nice job she accomplished the vixen sew in its not her fault her clients weave is "greasy" looking. From the looks of it this girl has reused her hair (a few times) and thats also not her FAULT so just chill people ... 🙄🙄
exactly, they so immature
This was really good!😊😊 and to al the people downing her bout what she should of down well she want here to please you but give you the basics on the style. Half of ya'll tracks be showing 😒
Omg"... THANks a lot for this ....
Nobody wanted to share this with the public.... Like it was a God given privilege ....
May God bless u
Wow baby girl you rocked that weave flawless i aint wver seen such perfection in my years of weaving
Or maybe she was just a model. I love the braiding style and yes if the hair was permed the texture would have been different. Keep up the good work you have my vote.
I agree Lisa! I love the idea of the net on all 4 quadrants! It makes it so much easier! Way to go CornflakesNoSugar!
You did good but but damn the hair she got is too greasy 😩
***** I'm not sure, but it looks like she probably added some product. But I agree, it's too greasy/heavy.
thank u so much!! my mum is going to do a sew in weave 4 me for school and dose not know how to make it look natural. thanks to u now she knows how to do it prop-pally and make it look natural!!!!!!!!!!!
Very clear tutorial!! Thanks!!this style is becoming more popular in uk nowadays!
Thank you! I know I'm loving it
this is amazing. Really fascinating to watch . The hair dresser is a true artist
Personally i think black people look better with natural hair , but this is also fantastic how terrific and natural they look with weave or hair pieces , .
And the young lady in this video is beautiful.
Great technique, but the hair itself isnt so great 😬
That's the hair her client wanted (: are you going to run out there & buy her some gold hair ? Lmfao Tf
Yeah tye should have gone for a yaki texture to blend more. but still a great technique.
You've got the technique down, but her hair looks like it hasn't been washed and conditioned before the install [ very important ]. Also, the braiding could've been a little neater and secure. A great foundation makes for an even better install :)
The explanation was clear. But People praise sloppy work? The condition of her hair was terrible for that style. And so was the end result.
I like the technique. Now the deal about the clients hair, looks like she may have processed(permed) hair and her roots are growing in a bit. As far as the hair that's being sewn in, it looks like cheap hair &/or recycled hair but I don't know her circumstance I'm just guessing. Besides lots of ppl recycle their hair after one use(usually if it's well taken care of, washed/brushed etc). Just gotta give it some TLC :)
after all I enjoyed the video with that wonderful musica
I don't know how many hair vids/tutorials, but never, have I ever read so much hatred from people who obviously watched the vid in full. You don't like it, simply change the video. I think I got the point of what she was trying to execute. I guess you cannot teach people for free. Ingrates.
This video looked like it was either done by two friends or sisters experimenting on a hair technique. I think she gets an E for Effort and she did a good job and if she continues to practice or watch professionals she'll get better.
Healthy hair is the key!! No matter what
Your video just help me do my 1st Vixen on my Bestfrienddddd and she loved it
omg , the only person that made me understand. cant wait to get this for junior year.
I like this version very simple and not complicated at all!!!
people be tripping but u be there with 1 mil views slay x
I hate to say but I just wish that your client washed n conditioned her hair before installing anything and the hair could've been washed as well...oh yeah she should've gotten a perm because her roots are awful. But overall I really liked the demonstration, it was perfect!
She could be transisitioning to natural.. Never judge unless you know the person your judging #spreadlove #spreadpeace
somebody transitioning would prefer braids, not a sew-in.
Joy Nivea not all people transitioning get braids. It all depends on the person...
😒 you know what I mean.
Joy Nivea you can't say that. I have seen various people choose different methods. I cut all of mine off. A lot of ppl now see in because it's more protective to your fragile edges than braids.
Great video!!!! Thanks for sharing and taking the time to TEACH! I was able to TAKE AWAY some knowledge!!! Keep up the good work!!! and brush off the HATERS!!!
She needs to let her edges grow, the braiding is killing it
She did a good job but the hair looked super greasy but it did match the other kind ...eh ✌🌟🌟🌟
I love this... I wish you showed the front also... and visited the US :)
Looks so natural. Great job.
I seen this girl get one at my salon and the idea is good but damn if that front is lumpy and bumpy... if you have any thickness and about shoulder length hair or longer... it's suppose to look natural and it doesn't in the front all I'm saying... people are just doing this now everywhere maybe it'll take time to perfect technique here.
Fifana McGinley STOP LYING!!!! you know good and well the weave's texture doesn't match her natural hair! "looks natural"...girl have a seat with your lie...as a matter of fact have several seats!!!!!!
Teke Dash hahahahahaha.....I feel you
Bad... you need to learn how to flat iron her hair better.. edges and back were nappy.. weave looks used
What she did to that girl hair was pretty and really good job you cant blame her if the girl has nappy hair you just have to work with it i know what you mean tho cause her hair really dpnt match but remember the one getting her hair done is the one who got that hair and asked for no perm yah know
Erica Fields Nappy hair is not a bad thing and I have seen much more kinky hair LAID! It really is a technique that can be perfected also if you have the right tools. It is the hairstylist job. Never blame the client.
SheQuita Ross i know right? i could even get my sisters hair straighter than that and she's natural wit very kinky hair.
SimplyNatural i know what you mean the hair looked greasy thats because her hair wasn't washed.. and you dont need a perm to straighten hair all you need is a hot comb... but the style is cute
I agree I've seen the NAPPIEST hair be laid like slik
CornflakesNoSugar love the channel name hun, after awhile u really dont miss the sugar.btw nice vid x
this is not a video about edges....it simply demonstrates how a vixen is done... stay positive y'all ...we 'pose to be loving each other up!
I think the whole purpose of the video was to show us what the fiishing product would basically look like dang people chill! Anywho loved the video !
I honestly think it would have looked better if she permed her hair first because you can tell its two different textures. Just a tip.
everybody doesn’t want a perm.
R2bees slow down with WizKid I heard this song and had to search .. I found it so jamming too this love the hair great video... God bless you
Ppl always got shit to say..! I loved it cant wait to get this done
You should see my face right now. I'm in awe. Amazing
you did a great job. I don't know what type of hair she bought, but it looks like wet barbie doll hair
Thumbs up best tutorial I've watched on UA-cam I enjoyed the music and I think I definitely can do that from here on out!!!!
Everyone saying "perm" needs they ass whooped perms are used to make the hair curly what yall mean say it needs to be relaxed because relaxers make your hair permanently straight but the tutorial was amazing the model just has too much product pryior to the install
Perm also means permanent relaxer as it cannot be reversed ..so the word perm is fine !
+Cola Nichols Lol right its the same thing texturizers are use to keep your hair curly
Not at all but okay ✌✌✌✌
yes !!!
+chae monroe a perm just changes your hair texture from what it already is if it's straight it makes it curly if it's curly it makes it straight
This video helps understand the basics of what to do. Everyone criticizing the girl's hair is missing the point. Now the model's hair looked dirty and too greasy and the weave looked greasy as well. So that does take away from the video. However, the technique was there and that was the point.
This was most detailed step by step process I have ever seen
best tutorial ever. you made it very easy to replicate.
this is the best method I think ive ever seen omg yesssss!!
This is a great idea ....but the sew in is no longer a protective style once you keep having to flatiron all the leave out sections
It a way to wear it with flat iron your leave out
That's true, but I don't think this particular sew in is meant to be a protective style. More like a cute versatile sew in.
I'm going to use this technique at my salon!! Thanks for the tutorial CornflakesNoSugar!!
This is perfect I've been looking for a video that explains it and this is perfect
I liked the demonstration of how to braid and sew for this type of weaving pattern. Thank you
Totally awesome, never seen a style like this before. Thumbs up!
Awesome work Empress
Thanks for showing us how u actually do it ! Love it
Amazing- you are very talented. I want to try getting a weave. 😊
Wow I luv it.....it looks very natural
Yoo, but her client was chillin doe 😂😂
Right she was on snapchat & Instagram 😂
I think it came out nice and natural looking
Would love to see a video on how you would wash this sew in and how to take care of your hair in the middle .
amazeballs.
now why did i never think of this....
I can't wait to try this ..so versatile
this is real good it's show u steps to do the hair 👌👌
Dag, I thought the point of a tutorial was to show the technique use to accomplish a particular task. Thumbs up from me.
great video!! I loved this . I now want to try to sew in my own weave , now ik some good techniques. Thank you for this video.
This video was very helpful on how to do the vixen sew inn
technique was nice but the hair (both weave nd natural) looks so oily and stiff
I'm glad I seen ur video. so want my hair done like this
I love it! It's beautiful I'm suppose to be getting mine down and this was a great tutorial
I hate haters u did good girl
Am in looove boo.. Am ganna learn how to do it
Yay let me know how it goes!
Her hair looked terrible at the end 😷😷
This is easy. I can't wait to do it now.
I love this video thanks for sharing. My only concern is for the model getting it done..she didn't really need her hair left out because of all the breakage...but of course people want what they want and girl you did a great job!!!
Those edges!
I luv wizkid!!
I can't wait to do this style.... Thanks for such a good tutorial
to anyone who is reading the comment I learned that "perming", relaxing hair right before installing weave is bad.
Exactly. Thats why most of the girls saying that are probably have bald spots and shit smh. Perm isnt everything
It's really bad for hair, I leave my hair a month or so before installing a weave or any other hairstyle that will strain or pull my hair.
Thats why u should only perm the leave out
Cici Toussaint yes I agree . depending on hair texture..
perms are bad for your hair anyway, be natural
The song is:
R2bees ft. Wizkid - Slow Down
Thanks for the video on the technique after all you weren't trying to sell the hair you were giving a demonstration of the technique. .. why do we even give a damn if the client needed a perm or the hair was oily???? Thx for sharing
Great job on the tutorial..you accomplished exactly that..a tutorial!!
Why ppl hating I think she did a wonderful job :)
Love the video makes it look easy-to-use
I think you did a very good job and the tutorial was wonderful 💯👌
Great work and great music!
This looks real good 😍👏
im going to try this with a braidless method !
Gorgeous. Best tutorial yet!!
Good job. I'm glad you put the net bc the braids didn't seem very secure at 1st.
Thank you for introducing me to this song.
You did an awesome job and it was very easy to understand and follow!
Okay I Know I'm Not Black But I Have An Opinion Lol. . . The Texture Of Her Weave And The Texture Of Her Natural Hair Are Not The Same. . . It Doesn't Look Good. She Should've Permed The Leave Out Not Just Flat Iron It
Girl just because you aren't black doesn't mean you don't know what you're talking about. I agree.
U did s great good. Looks very natural
You helped me a whole love love it !
Great introduction tutorial to this technique. Thank you for sharing.
Fab job!
thank you :) x
I get the idea, but hate the visual difference in textures of hair, it's so visual! For me I don't like it when the textures of hair do not match. So a complete sew in is better!
Nice .....I gotta try this myself
Looks very nice
You did a really Good job hunny.
Luv this hairstyle
