I think this was the best sewing video I’ve ever seen it was so engaging and never got boring I loved it and I can’t wait to make my new pants!!! Also the pattern is super easy to follow as well in terms of cutting it out and taping it together!!

A tutorial on both of those kinds of pockets would be super helpful!! I’d love to be able to have the knowledge to do both but for the most part I love the kind of style pockets you do and that cargos have with the multiple pockets

Awesome video, Im almost done with my pair, but i was wondering if I could make these out of denim and use flat felled seams as well as increase the waist size to a 38?
@@dreamybull420 the back panels come out at the crotch point much further, so yes there is more curve, but should still line up w the front pieces perfectly🤙🏽
Hiya! So, I’m actually going to be filming a tutorial on how to make these pants fit waist size 26-30. I think it would first be wise to measure your waist because pants sizing is pretty inconsistent nowadays. Secondly, I’m all for experimentation, so if you wanna give it a try I say go for it, just maybe trace the pattern on new paper and try the adjustments so you know you have the original intact
@@matthewlopez9611 yeah, you could do like darts or pleats at the bottom of the pant. Or you could alter the pattern to more of a straight leg or a tapered fit.

Just a question, when im lining up the inseams, are the back panels supposed to be curved and the front panels straight?

You might be able to get away with 2 yards, but I would get 3 to be safe🖤🤙🏽

Just added to my description that they start at about 34 inch inseam(longgg). I go over ways of shortening them in the tutorial🤙🏽🖤
