Hi Hes, what NB model do you recommend for walking/ general everyday use for someone who is prone to toe(s) blisters? I want comfort but a wider toebox. Thanks!

    Really thankful for this list
I have wide feet and been using ultraboost but they are too narrow. These recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I cannot thank you enough! Nurse here. I have wide/flat feet & in the past have prefered Burkinstocks, Crocs or a cheaper pair of Nikes. Recently, I thought I probably needed a good shoe working 12s. Your recommendations of the Rebel V2 got me to buy a pair x 2. I'm in love! You are right we need to stear away from the idea we need "Nikes". I really don't think I would have considered "New Balance". I have never tried on a shoe (excluding Burks, crocs) & forgot that I was wearing them. That's how these Rebels are.
For those considering (go up a 1/2 a size) feather lightweight, zero feel of consistriction, super breathable, and after wearing them for around a week I have already bought a second pair & will be buying those pacers.
New Balance is definitely a front runner. (I buy a cpl pairs of shoes & now am an expert 😆) I have tried on "Brooks" and those Hokus or whatever they are called & hated them. This FuelCell technology is where it's at. THANK YOU! I bought on a whim because several videos of yours mentioned it. I knew it was life changing when I got them tried them on, got sidetracked at home and a hour later look down to see I still had them on. I would recommend this for anyone, runners, older.
One thing some might not like is the least bit of water will get in them. I don't mind, but I see how some could not like it.
One last thing, We have all been programmed to like Nikes after binging your videos it's interesting how Nike is coming up subpar. I really hope New Balance gets the recognition it deserves because I have never liked a regular shoe this much ever. Not that I've worn a whole lot but you all get the idea. Buy the Rebels!

I've tested Rebel v2 for hiking (yeah you heard that right), on VERY technical terrain including muds and rocks to test it and boy, it did pretty good. First of all, it is very light so I feel like I don't wear any shoes at all. It dries SO QUICK like VERY QUICK so I wouldn't have to worry about wet feet. The ride is really comfortable with it's FuelCell foam, my feet didn't hurt at all at the end of the hike. The durability is very good too after being scratched and pummeled by rocks and tree roots there is no sign of wear at all. The only downside is obviously the grip, which is surprisingly ok for a low profile outsoled shoes.
This makes me think: If NB could make a Rebel v2 with a trail outsole with Vibram MegaGrip, it would be my perfect hiking shoes. PLEASE NB make this shoes a reality!

I recently bought the Fresh Foam More v3 (40% OFF in my country which makes them a great deal for such type of a sneaker)
I am obese 175 kg (386 lbs) and started daily walks 2km (1.25 miles) You got to start somewhere.
I noticed that if you walk a little brisk the shoe is a bit better. I think it is designed more for running than walking.
The don’t have great squishiness in the heel but they have great arch support and forefoot support.
After about 10 km of walking (6 miles) I don’t really notice the novelty of the squishiness. My foot just feels great.
The good thing about these shoes is that they have a wider midsole and outsole and my weight is spread across the whole shoe which is very nice.
I went half a size up and it is a bit large for me (I have normal feet)
I would say they got true to size.
If you manage to find a good discount like me (as the v4 are out) you can consider them.
You are getting a flagship at a mid model price.
I plan to be wearing mine until they can support me properly.

Just what I was looking for! Thank you btw for recommending NB 1080. I was sold on adidas ultraboost, and I’m really loving the 1080s. I love the super soft squishy soles, plus the stretchy upper. Reminds me of my old adidas NMD Parleys. I never would have tried the NB 1080 if it wasn’t for you. Thanks mate.
Ps are the NB Hiero as good?

More, thicker outsole coverage will undoubtedly make it less soft. Still a great shoe. Especially if you do anything outdoors.

I'm currently planning to buy some shoes for travel. I can't seem to find 1080v12 here in my place. But I have access to some 1080v11. Should I go with v11 or wait for v12 to be available? What's the difference in terms of comfort?
