I’m not a guitarist nor ever will be.. but I have an immense love for music like this and the effort people like you put into keeping it alive. Thanks Dan! 👍
Dan! Thank you for letting me know a few days ago via email about your guitars. I see you just posted this informative little video here. Anyone seeing this and not signed up to Dan’s website is missing out on the best online instruction anywhere. Hundreds of songs and tabs.
Yep I have a bunch of Morton’s OM28 m36 d18 And I can go on I played Taylor’s I’ve played every type of guitar and the mountain seems to be the one that speaks to me every time I pick it up it’s a whole different sound a different and what you feel like and they all speak to me thank you you’re awesome
I ,too, am a Martin guitar player. I have owned 15 Martins since 1964. My first was a 1939 00-17. However for the last couple decades I have learned to buy them used. I currently have a 1997 0000-1, and a 2005 00-18V. I am looking at an 1996 Eric Clapton. to round it out.
I started on a "Stella" so like size of my GS mini Taylor. My cousin does not play anymore but has a Ancient Guild that sounds like the Angel's. I love the Martin's but never on such a level to warrant owning one. Wish I went further younger,49 intermediate.. I am in Penna, family has a music shop out West but one must be your playing style to get lessons and I never liked a pick. Some material that holds me back, like Miller's riff to Jet Airliner.lol. Are you using one pattern? does not seem travis picking..Just finally started memorizing the fretboard. That little Martin is a sweetheart..
1976 D-35 last of the non adjustable truss rod models and a 2005 DM-12. The D-35 has aged well and really has a tone. I really understand what you were saying. Thanks

Thanks Dan. Heard a lot of pickers, and you're always a very favorite listen.
Love your work Dan. You’re hard work and talent speaks to me like that beautiful rosewood Martin speaks to you
Thanks for all you do Dan.
Thank's Dan, I've always wondered about your guitars.

Awesome
Wow nice song
Great job Dan. Question...Does the 1996 EC model have both a short scale and a 1 1/16" nut or a 1 3/4" nut.
Love my Martin 000!
How is the nut width on the Martins compared to the Seagull? When I had a Seagull, I got used to a wider nut and prefer that now.
Very interesting! I have an OM-21 and a D-16, and play them as you do...in my dreams.
i too have an OM-21 and love it, but recently picked up a Larrivee OM-60..that one is a WOW
Hay cuz can you make a video with the 0018?thinking of getting one. Thanks Dan. Jim Holloway.
