I lost quite some money listening to this guy on these nodes projects lol, but thats not on him, thats on me, lessons learnt and thank you Andy for teaching me to become smarter by failing.
Sorry to hear that you lost money. I also lost lots of money on various things I got into.
But I've also made a lot of money. I take bets on LOTS of projects to offset the losers. And I have very long time horizons. Bull run to bear market is a bad time horizon IMO.
Quite a lot of the projects I've been covering in my monthly passive income updates are up a ton this year. Some 60%+ and some (like Playa3ull) up over 1500%
I have learned so much from my fails, I hope you do too. That's the best we can do when confronted with "failures" (I think lessons is a better word though).
Not blaming you or anything like that, I am better off today than what i was yesterday thanks to the failures, still subscribed and watching your vids :)@@YourFriendAndy

Increase of the market cap and increase of the price aren’t directly proportional meaning if the market cap increases x5 doesn’t mean the price will increase x5
It absolutely does in the very basic examples I show. But obviously, that won't be the case in the real world. Other variables will change and impact the market cap. But it doesn't matter. For the sake of a very simple example of where prices can go, this is a fine way to show it. It's all theoretical anyway. Pure accuracy doesn't matter, because accurate predictions are impossible. This probably isn't the thing to worry about given all the other factors at play.

What do you need help doing? Setting it up? Check out NodeOrbit. They have documentation on their site. You can also join the BLOCX discord for more help.

How come NEOXA token has been tanking so much lately?
It tanked because BTC pumped like mad alts tend to bleed against BTC but don't worry nodes number did not go down so nothing has fundamentally changed it will recover can't go up constant forever! This was the first pull back since smartnodes going live!
My guess would be that there was lots of hype and the MEXC listing was coming up. That hype died off and usually exchange listings mean the price drops. Long-term I don't think this price action matters much. Everything dips eventually.

It doesn’t, at least not for now.
Most of these are Ponzis, they’ll pay until it won’t.

@@shakester2010 A ponzi implies they need funds coming in to pay out for others. If you think this of a proof of work coin, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how they work. This will go on "paying" as long as the chain continues to move. This is not like the "nodes" I am sure you are thinking about. I cover this in the video.
It's a coin not a token FYI (not trying to be pedantic. It's an important distinction). And I think lots of planned functionality (like in the marketplace), but nothing fully built out yet. Like I said in the video, this one is very early.
So many ponzi nodes tanked, won't touch em. I hope that class action lawsuit against strongblock goes through.
I'd really encourage you to learn about how nodes work etc. This isn't a ponzi node. They are real nodes. You have to run real hardware. You don't lose your coins. It could still not work out, but not for the reasons you think.
@@YourFriendAndy Thank you for taking the time to respond to me, big fan, love all your videos. I went heavy into Strongblock with 12 nodes, Thor nodes with 6 of the most expensive node, Cro nodes was maxed out, 6k into OHM is still 1k years later, DRIP is worthless, Golden Society is gone, I have 6 bobcat 300 miners that do nothing, and another 6 k into some earl coin with 1 000 000% apy that's gone.
They're all gone now along with all my money, I'll see if there are any node projects like Flux nodes, yield nodes, and warbots that exist 2 years from now at the bottom of the next bear market, then maybe I'll get into something like that again. But I'm out probably 100k, I just make $35 an hour, I'm not rich, I just applied FIRE investment strategy for years "investing" into these money pits, I can't tell the difference between good nodes and bad nodes.
The bull market is starting back up, I'm hoping I at least break even, but I promised myself I'm not investing in anything during a bull market ever again.
@@Livewithhonour333I'm sorry to hear that. Yes, most all those things were basically ponzis and super high risk. Good lesson to learn, but also painful.
If it's any encouragement, I lost a TON of money my first full year of crypto 2017/2018. I learned a lot of tough lessons. But they informed me to get to where I am now. But it's been a nearly 7yr journey to get here and it wasn't easy.
Don't give up! Also don't feel like you have to rush into anything. Take you time figuring it all out. If money is tight, this might not be the best recommendation for the short-term, but if you really want to learn to see get a better grasp of projects, considering joining Zzz Money Club. But if not, just keep learning online. Best of luck!
Is it fair to say that you should mention if people are Ape into these things they should talk to a tax advisor about starting a S Corp?
No that isn't fair at all. One, S-corps are really complicated and not a one-size-fits-all type of thing. Two, my best crypto tax advice isn't to do something specific like that. It's to hire a tax pro ASAP and have them build a solution that fits your specific situation.

I started my investing journey by barely being able to invest $100-200 a month. I started with nearly $100K in debt and living paycheck to paycheck.
Cut back on every expense you can. Earn more money with your job and on the side. Pay off debts, build an emergency fund, and start investing.
That's what I did to get where I am today (10yrs later).

Do you think so? Not sure they have done much of note to warrant a revisit.

The code for BLOCX itself is. And last I looked they plan for all their software to be open source too.
@@YourFriendAndy when was the last time you checked, cause I went to their TG group two days ago or three, and they were like "do you want that this happens to us like this or that project because they were open source, yeah we won't go open source" I also found that their github is not very active, but that's because they are close source.... I wanna buy but worried that it's not what it says it is, I'm gonna research further thanks
@@firashebili I'm not in the TG, but I searched the discord and I thought I was reading that they were choosing open source. I'll DM the founder and ask directly since I'm not clear. I don't want to tell you what to invest in or not. All I can tell you is that I don't invest in things I don't like, I don't understand, or that I don't agree with. So if this is a no-go for you, maybe listen to your gut! That said, lots of cryptos in my portfolio that I like have elements that are closed source. Like Flux and their Zelcore wallet. Good luck!
@@firashebili I reached out and you are correct. The coin/blockchain itself is open source. The software they are building is closed source. They will seek audits of the software though to offset some of that for whatever that's worth to you.

Probably never. I caved and just started saying ROI instead of break-even. Not worth the effort.
