M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with actor Vishwak Sen ahead of the release of his Laila on February 14th. Vishwak will be seen in the woman getup in the film.
Vishwak spoke about why he accepted to do the woman role even though 4-5 heroes rejected it in the first place.
He revealed about the Kunthi Devi character he played in his childhood and how how his sister's comparison with him encouraged him to do the film.
He spoke about the grueling process he worked every single day to put on the makeup. He also explained what is Prosthetic Makeup and the team that worked for getting his makeup right for the film.
We asked him straight if he believes that double meaning and vulgar dialogues are necessary to make a film connect to the youth audience.
We also asked him how his music sense is going off-track for the last two films. He blamed the timing of the songs release and said the songs will get their due credit after the movie release.
He also analyzed the reason for the failure of his Mechanic Rocky in which he is 50% partner.
"I learned that nothing can cover up other things in a movie. We have to approach all the eighty scenes in a film as eighty films and make each of them perfect. People are not going to accept anything less than that," he analyzed.
He also responded to the rumors about increased budget, the censor troubles he faced, etc.
