Just like how "One (Monster & Infinity)" takes two songs, "Monster" and "Infinity" from SuperM's album to create their title track "One" on their Super One album. Also, as the SuperM members made reference to during their press conference for the release of their album, one of the parts of "One (Monster & Infinity)" choreography uses a finger movement that is very reminiscent of an iconic part of SHINee's "Lucifer" choreography. Also something I find funny is that SM now owns at least 5 songs with the title of "Monster": Super Junior has a b-side track on their "Sorry Sorry" album called "Monster", EXO's song "Monster," Super Junior-M Henry's solo song called "Monster," Red Velvet's sub-unit song with Seulgi and Irene called "Monster" and now SuperM's song "Monster." That won't get confusing or anything. LOL And yes, "One (Monster & Infinity)" is mostly in English, just like "100" and "Jopping" are also mostly English. SuperM is supposed to be geared toward the U.S. market so all their title tracks and most of their album will be in English. Hence their U.S. debut last year and SM's partnership with Capital Records and Marvel. Although "One (Monster & Infinity)" is still so new, that I haven't really had time to analyze in depth what is happening in the MV yet, right off the bat, what I see are references to Kai and his role in EXO's storyline with the numerous pyramid symbols you see throughout the MV. If you remember, as part of EXO's storyline, Kai's symbol is a pyramid which represents his teleportation superpower. How I interpret the scene with Kai hanging from the building, is that he is climbing up a building and as he is climbing, pieces of the building are breaking loose. Kind of like in a 007 or Mission Impossible movie, or maybe those are pieces of something that he is being attacked with from above or are falling from something being destroyed above him. You also see drones hovering below him, but I am not sure if that is what he is trying to avoid because they are controlled by the Red Force, or if that is part of SuperM's arsenal and they are helping him in his mission. The military uniforms are used to show that they have become soldiers now preparing to help EXO battle and defeat the Red Force. (If you have seen "Jopping, you may remember that SuperM are in the desert in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, so I think the use of the tan uniforms are to help them blend into the desert environment.) It is said that the concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so, I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group, just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup. I think the concept of the group all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. So, as you may know, the members of EXO are all aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, Baekhyun has the power to control light and Kai has the power of teleportation, so those powers are nothing new for them. (You see Kai teleporting and Baekhyun using his power of light in "Jopping".) So I think because Kai and Baekhyun are part of the group, SuperM's storyline is tied to EXOs storyline. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from corrupting and taking over the world, etc. Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking the "best" members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's dream concept and storyline also connects to EXO's storyline, just like how many believe that Red Velvet is connected to EXO's storyline -- it is believed that SM's girl group Red Velvet, EXO's sister group, may be the Red Force. I think that SM may even have set it up so that at least all of their third generation groups have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. Only makes me more sure that SuperM's storyline and all the groups represented within SuperM are all connected to EXO's larger storyline. Also, at the end of "One (Monster & Infinity)" what you see are flashes of SuperM's pre-debut/ "Jopping" MV teasers and they were how the group was introduced last year and it showcased the members special powers and abilities and helped to establish the group's concept and storyline. The last clip with Taemin and that LG phone device is new, and besides being a product placement ad, it also is clearly the next clue or piece of SuperM's storyline. I'm pretty sure Taemin is setting up something that will become important in the future to continue SuperM's story. Plus, we see, Kai, and maybe also Taeyong, is using the same device in the MV during the part where they have the tan military outfits on. Fun fact: Taemin's end teaser was even kept a secret from the rest of the SuperM members and they didn't even know it was part of the MV until they watched the completed MV. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa, and maybe even Taemin's solo work (and possibly -- but not 100% sold on the idea -- even eventually SHINee, even though they are technically 2nd generation. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. So who knows, when SHINee comes back maybe SM will draw them into the storyline as well.

If you want to see more of Ten and Lucas I would recommend you watch "Bad Alive" (English version) of WayV. WayV sings in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
