Just want to add one tip, turn clothes inside out when u dry outside. Also direct sunlight also fades color so drying in shade is better 😊

I follow almost all your tips for my clothes.
I want to add one more tip for the clothes that you don't want to wash because you have only worn them for couple of hours and they are not very dirty but during summer sometimes sweat makes it difficult to re-wear without washing. So for those clothes what I do is, that I take the top/clothing item and rinse it in plane water/warm water and rub a little from under arm areas and then sock them in antibacterial fabric conditioner for couple of mins and dry them in air or even sunlight during day time and steam it like you would regularly.
I feel like soaps makes your clothes dull if overused.

OMG! I can relate so much with this video...even I don't wash my clothes much...whenever I wear it for 3-4 hours...same like you I let them dry in the sun or just under the fan...and the one advise which your mum gave you to give support to the hands of sweaters when you dry I do it for all my clothes...even I reverse them and then dry them...and also I don't keep them much in sunlight because sunlight can also fade the colours...instead I let them dry in normal air...in my verandah...and then just keep in sunlight for half an hour or one hour so that they turn crisp...also at first I let all the water pour out of the clothes...and then after 70% of the water has poured out, I then hang them straight.

Dear Prerna I rarely watch UA-cam videos and just discovered you 2 days ago and am a fan!!! LOVE your genuine down to earth honest talk. We all can relate to every bit of it. Most of the things I already do. Some video ideas for you: how to organize items in our cupboards: esp so many churidar, so many dupattas, what’s nice way to organize these so one can see what to wear when..Also, till you dont get sponsored by other advertisers and keep the honesty, you will get a lot of followers. For example, you showed the steam iron: I want one from a long time, but the reviews on Amazon are mostly mediocre on all of them. Which one do you use? Please share. But dont get paid by these people or we wont be able to trust your opinion. Good luck! Ammmazing work.

It was today only when my husband rejected all my old clothes cause they looked too old 😟😟(though they actually are ) so I was looking for something like this and just then I saw this wonderful video. Thanks for the tips and tricks. And would like to add that sharing the wardrobe is the need of the hour. So rather than throwing old clothes we can donate and help the needy(just my opinion)

What i have started new as my this year's clothing care is wearing an inner/camisole for most of the dresses. This way direct sweat doesn't touch my clothes. Camisoles are made of cotton, so completely comfortable on skin and allows to wear any cloth material above. And frequent washing of clothes not required as they don't touch sweat directly and Normal sun drying/air drying keeps them cleaner. I also spend half an hour in the weekend to decide what i am wearing that week to office so that I don't create any clutter in the morning while deciding what to wear. Thereby my wardrobe stays clean..

You are really one from one need to learn because not just for fashion people buy so many new clothes which are not even required just to show off but its actually very harmful for the environment , I had my sister's wedding last month and I swear I just bought two new clothing for myself it just not saved my money but also space in my wardrobe and the clothes which I don't wear I donate them ( keep the emotional touch aside).

I love so much the Haath ki Dhulaayi and Wash less. I have really less clothes like I invest in universal pieces and I always wash them normally with my hands and no machine wash. I love the fresh and new look of my clothes. I love the wash less point also because no point of washing a cloth that you have worn just for an hour. We just put it on the cloth wire and then when the smell of body sweat goes off, I put it back for the next use. I wash it after 5-6 long wear or 9-10 small wear.

Actually washing clothes in washing machine degrades the quality of clothes...I wash my ghar ke kapde 😅 in washing washine ....but I prefer to handwash my delicate clothes...this makes my clothes look almost new and I literally can't find any difference...I have easily carried on wearing my clothes for so many years...just like you...even I wear my old clothes...bachpan ke kapde 😅 and I hardly find any difference....they are exactly the same as they were before.

  • @ranughosal147

    I just love your spontaneity.
Waise coming to the point, Washing any kind of clothes is always best achieved by hand washing in cold water inside out and then air drying it in the same manner. Mai Humesha clothes iron Bhi ni kar paati hoon , so air drying helps maintain the proper shape of the clothes. Also I think folding of the clothes is very important to maintain proper look which was there originally in the new cloth before washing. This Is from my experience as well ; after I tried to fold the clothes in the same way it was folded originally in the shops/ parcels while maintaining the folding lines, I saw that the clothes looked good everytime and appeared new. So I have started to pay attention to the way they stay folded while wearing any new cloth for the first time and try and maintain the folds everytime after washes.
