Anyways I got Balatro for Switch and Final Fantasy pixel remaster for Switch as well. Then went to Walmart and it was PACKED, anyways I got Nintendo Switch Sports and Pokemon Cards. Then went to a sporting store and I bought quite a bit of 5.56 NATO ammunition at a discount. Overall this year we actually got real discounts and not fake ones like years prior. I feel like the spirit of Black Friday is coming back.
I am usually digital, but unless a game is limited edition or a game I really need to play ASAP/day 1 i.e. TOTK or Cyberpunk, Silent Hill 2, this is the time of the year where I accumulate physical titles. Black Friday gets a bad rep nowadays and rightfully so, but legitimately when it comes to the gaming space, some really good deals do eventuate.
If you don't have "Amazon Prime" or live outside the US, this Black Friday is most likely gonna *SUCK* for you. (Had a list of things I wanted to buy online, but sadly this Black Friday has been a LETDOWN so far and so I don't think I will do any online shopping today by the looks of it 👎)
I got Tears and Silent Hill 2 for free from Walmart. I ordered them for $30/each the other day. They were delivered, but the pic wasn't my place. They would only give me a refund and not replacements. Afterwards I walked about a mile around my block comparing the pic. I found both packages still outside.
I’ve bought one digital game from Walmart when Captain Toad had a price error. You get sent an email with your code. Just make sure it’s Walmart selling it to you and not some random 3rd party
06:27 I have said it many times. DO NOT BUY micro SD cards for the Steam Deck. It will fry them all. Just get a 2TB SSD with a good heatsink. SD cards are not made to handle the constant read and writes. A SanDisk Extreme Pro 1TB with heatsink lasted me all 2 weeks. It was 200€ at the time to the garbage...
I've been using multiple since the original launch and haven't had any issues with any. At least 4 different ones. Not that it didn't happen to you, I just haven't encountered the same issue.
The best part about the C line from LG and the most important thing for gaming is low lag. Only 12ms of lag from a test I saw on UA-cam, which is really responsive.
BestBuy is offering a $75 gift card for the 512GB Quest 3. Everyone else is only offering it for the S model. If you are new to VR or want to use it for your PC go for the S. If you are upgrading from the 2 like me, consider the normal 3.
A lot of Switch models will not be offered after March. By July the Oled models will be reduced, and by Decemeber 2025 Oled models may stop being sold unless Nintendo offers a new sku.

Don't recommend Hisense to anyone who wants better sound (and you probably will with this TV). They're just terrible at it. Anything that goes through the TV from outside source (like a console), be it through Bluetooth or fiber optics gets a HUGE, very noticeable delay with frequent sound cutoffs. Even with a direct source like Netflix app in the TV you'll get sound cutoffs and delays. Picture is usually nice for the price but if you want any sound besides the TVs terrible speakers, you won't be happy.
Do note the lg oled c3 is horrible for some faster games like gran turismo where it will flicker rapidly if driving over a curb since it sees red and white rapidly and rapidly tries to dim and brighten, samsungs ssd are cheaper than wd atm too if you go for the 980

I just grabbed 64gb of ram for my desktop, gonna take out the old 16gb (2x8) and put int these new kits (4x16). I'm waiting for cyber monday to see if the CPU I want drops in price as well, the 5700x3d for my am4 board. If it doesn't, i'll just buy a steamdeck instead.
Ace Combat skies unknown deluxe is $40 from $70. I was immensely impressed to see it run on the switch as good as it did I'll be a downgrade in graphics but it runs flawlessly
Yeah I was really surprised too. Back when they first announced it was coming to switch I was like oh no that’s gonna run awful, but from what I saw from digital foundry it seems stable. It’s impressive what people have been able to pull off on Switch considering that 2015 tegra X1 chip it’s running.
Enjoy. I got one last November. It's a brilliant piece of kit which provides a great level of immersion when playing games. Have you got a pulse 3D headset as I would recommend using one of those if you want a complete PSVR2 experience.
I keep forgetting that sony only does remakes now instead of making new games. I keep seeing people talking about Silent Hill 2, only it is NOW haha. I feel like I am back in the late 90s/early 2000s seeing people talking about THAT one again haha.
I'm glad Microsoft did have the option to swapped the expansion memory card because I like it because it does bring back the feel of the PS1 PS2 Nintendo GameCube swapping memory cards is way more better than the PS5 that the nvme can't be used at our family or friends PS5 is the lacking part.
I prefer Sony's solution. You can put whatever m.2 ssd as long as it is supported; and the prices have DROPPED. MS solution reminds me of the proprietary memory cards on the vita. At least these ones get price cuts as well, but you can't just chose something very premium.

But what if Nintendo dies decide to bring back the memory card solution that can be played anywhere at a family & friends house without Sony solution but with Microsoft solution is still by far pro consumer friendly just like Microsoft solution to have our games be played whenever we go outta town on business to show & played our games on their Xbox Series console or when the new Nintendo Switch 2 successor might have one by surprised.

I'm glad Microsoft did have the option to swapped the expansion memory card because I like it because it does bring back the feel of the PS1 PS2 Nintendo GameCube swapping memory cards is way more better than the PS5 that the nvme can't be used at our family or friends PS5 is the lacking part.
I prefer Sony's solution. You can put whatever m.2 ssd as long as it is supported; and the prices have DROPPED.
MS solution reminds me of the proprietary memory cards on the vita. At least these ones get price cuts as well, but you can't just chose something very premium.
I would rather have more cheaper options than an expensive proprietary one... you can literally get a 2tb for less than 120 bucks sometimes.

But what if Nintendo dies decide to bring back the memory card solution that can be played anywhere at a family & friends house without Sony solution but with Microsoft solution is still by far pro consumer friendly just like Microsoft solution to have our games be played whenever we go outta town on business to show & played our games on their Xbox Series console or when the new Nintendo Switch 2 successor might have one by surprised.

Crazy how the PS5 cost more than a 70" 4k TV. They got $300 70" 4k TV at Walmart, and $425 for a PS5 disc. The TVs have built in upscaling like PS5.

It’s not really crazy at all. TVs have been significantly cheaper for a long time than consoles. Each device have vastly different capabilities and expectations.
