@blinkNbeep hi does length if the lan cable affect speed? Can i use 10 meter lan to get tethering from rooftop? Can you please test it and share the result? Thanks for the video
@@blinkNbeep Yes, thank you for the response, I had gone through these 2 devices on Amazon, but actually, they only did mention in the title that they do support 5G sim networks as well however not written on the device specifications as well customer feedback.
@@deepakkumarlalwani4399 5g portable routers are currently not available in india you can purchase from abroad gulf, and its price is more than that of a 5g phone around 26k-40 k for routers
In my Phone Speed test showing 300+Mbps speed on 5g and when I am sharing my phone via ethernet Tethering to router then I am getting only 2 Mbps. I am using 2.4Ghz TL-MR3420. Is there any way to get similar speed like 5g Phone?
It appears that only USB tethering allows 5G speeds on laptops and both Bluetooth and wifi hotspot work on 2.4Ghz only. Maybe this is to do with limitations on my laptop. Can you share if Chromebook works with 5Ghz speeds?
You are correct. Most laptops are limited to 2.4GHz wifi only. I believe few Chromebook models support 5GHz as well. But I haven't personally used a Chromebook yet.
The biggest drawback with this setup is that the phone battery drains very fast with mobile internet on. I have this setup with 5G mobile Internet already.
Hi have you tried belkin type c to ethernet with power passthrough. Does this enable phone charging while supplying internet to the router?
I had the same thing in mind, but it seems rather expensive. Would suggest to maybe buy an ethernet hub which supports passthrough.
thank for uploading in english

10 metres will not lose any data,u r good to go
Are there any 5G SA/NSA SIM network modems also available in India to share internet using ethernet cable? like "NETGEAR Nighthawk M5 5G"
There are few router models from Conbre and cellexxa that supports sim. But I doubt if they support 5g. Maybe we might get 4g speeds.

Try to use the 5Ghz channel. It is much faster than 2.4GHz
And u must have slow ethernet adapter
How about charging? I wanted charge the mobile at the time of ethernet theatering.
Wireless charging?
That might work. I haven't tried though.
@@blinkNbeep @Nimtreewildlife Cost will increase if I use wireless charging Mobile.
I used the WDS/bride mode in router.. That is working now.. I can charge my mobile and no need of Converter also..
Can this exact thing be achieved through sharing your 5g internet to your PC via USB cable & USB tethering? Will i get limited speeds for doing this??
That is possible as well. You will get good speed. I have a video on usb tethering also. Please check it out if required.
@@blinkNbeep thanks for the clarification 😊👍

Agreed. This could be useful for short term use or for emergency purpose.
