What I admire about Islam, Islam respected all prophets even when those prophets were Jews. Meanwhile in Bible and Jewish book, some prophets were described doing filthy things while in Islam, all prophets are shown as saint people who devoted themselves to God. Islam also respected Virgin Mary who is in Islam called Maryam.

@@MakaiJohnkenneth Islam respected all prophets from Bible and Judaism and I find this very interesting. Even Muslims highly respect Isa or in Christianity Jesus but Muslims don't worship Isa or Jesus. I really find it appealing the concept of one true God only, a God who does not need anyone or anything and God who does not have kids or relatives. I find this very interesting. One thing that makes me respect Islam, when I read Quran, read every single word and not cherry picking, Islam is very amazing especially at the part when telling Muslims to respect their old parents. Even my old mother can't believe it when I showed here how Islam mandates its followers to respect their parents.

We thought that his refusal was out of the aversion a patient usually has for medicine. When he improved and felt a bit better he said (to us.) "Didn't I forbid you to pour medicine into my mouth?" We said, "We thought (you did so) because of the aversion, one usually have for medicine." I'm not a Muslim and don't know as much about this from the Islamic perspective as I should. HOWEVER, I intend to read the Holy Qur'an in full (in English, sorry: don't speak a syllable of Arabic) before the end of the year.
1. I like her. Always did after learning about her in my Studies in Islam class. Didn't she convince the Prophet (PBUH) that he wasn't losing his mind, and that the Revelation was real?
2. Oh, was she Abu Bakr's daughter? I either didn't know that, or I forgot, but yeah, I like her, too, because she's right up my alley: SMART. You can't necessarily always beat 'em with this (flexes arm muscles), but you can always beat 'em with this (taps forehead).
3. Why is she the only named woman in the Qur'an, please? But yeah...she's kind of the unspoken goddess in Christianity, which isn't exactly COOL, given that, you know, she was human and all, duh, bbut AGAIN, I like her, because she was brave. You learn in Catholic school (I was Catholic growing up), here's this thirteen year old girl, unmarried, saying yes to an angel who's saying that she's going to be impregnated OUTSIDE of wedlock. In that time and place, she could have been stoned to death for that, but it didn't matter to her. That's GUTSY. Much respect for her, always.
4. She was allowed to FIGHT? Total transparency: I know absolutely nothing about her. I've never even heard her name before. Where can I learn more about this one, please?
5. Oh, was she a monotheist? I thought I had read somewhere that, even though she was a Pagan, because she took Moses in (peace be upon him), God took HER in. Does the Qur'an say differently, then?

According to my knowledge about Islam, women are not allowed to participate in War or Jihad.
But Women named Khawla is one of the greatest women in islam as described in the video. And she was an warrior. Which makes me doubt that whether women are really allowed to participate in jihad in Islam
jihad does not only mean go for war and fight you know, it also means fighting your desires as well , controlling yourself from doing things that is not good for you , i would like to ask you where did you hear that women are not allowed to go for war ??
Women were always a part of jihad as nurses and medical assistants and Hazrat Nusayba was the warrior and our Prophet never condemned her instead appreciated her for her contribution when she tried to protect our Prophet in Uhad battle as we are well aware of the fact that these days the dress code which is presented to army women is not appropriate enough they can be trained in a modest way with loosen clothes and can join army with that modesty level as well due to dress code issues it is not considered appropriate but they should work to strengthen themselves and can join army as medical assistants and doctors but with modest dressing which is Missing there as well
