I actually got out of it for good back when Beyond Light dropped (after I bought the Deluxe Edition hahaha, so I might come back one day). Now I've been playing Genshin Impact... Not much have changed.

Me and 2 friends started playing D2, and we snorted almost all the content in a 3 month span, with lots of allnight game sessions.
Now I'm the only one who still plays it, shit is worse than crack
Izanagis can be claimed from monument pretty easily now

My husbands been a destiny fan since the first game came out, which had pretty much been the same length of our relationship (just got married last year). I only started playing destiny 2 in December because of covid and a friend of ours started playing so I decided to finally give it a try. I have become obsessed.

Destiny 2 is basically a "love-hate" relationship. You love it but then it makes you want to quit, but you always go back to it.
Its the kind of game where you think your leaving for good, only for you to just take a week long break and then you immediatly comeback.

@@Sir_Crow I have no blindfold. It's all just leveling and bounties. With a bit of content sprinkled here and there. That's my take on the state of D2. Mostly every exotic quest is just a bunch of bounties, DLC drops always feature tons of bounty grinds between story bits, etc. And, now, transmog is just going to be a bounty sim. Screw that.

There is nothing more relatable as a destiny 2 player than saying you are gonna figure out a puzzle yourself, and then referring to the Datto guide 4 times throughout the mission

Once Destiny pulls you in it's almost impossible to climb back out, even if you hate it.
If you dont play PvP at all its pretty fun. Well pvp custom games with friends may work too
But public pvp ruins the fun
