The Battle to Save Bees | Breeding Varroa Mite Resistant Honey Bees (pkg. only)

Scientists at UVM have been piloting a new pheromone spray which could help bee breeders breed varroa mite resistant honey bees. This synthetic pheromone was created by Dr. Kaira Wagoner at UNC. Now Samantha Alger at the University of Vermont's Bee Lab is partnering with bee breeders around Vermont to test this exciting new tool in the fight to save honey bees.
