Are they still cannon, if not make em cannon in the next sourcebook, 40k needs another xeno race that isn't a warhammer/generic fantasy reskin.
Yeah I wish they would add rules and more lore for them and other minor xenos races
Canon... not "cannon", it's not a tube you shoot metal ball out of...
But, anyway... unknown. There is probably no hard "anything and all originating in the FFG roleplaying games is void and non-existing now that they are no longer licencing", but typically, you own what you create, even if it is orphaned like that. The settings for those games were deliberately set in a new separate part of the galaxy, rather than somewhere already established, say Ultramar or on Armageddon, so as to have freedom to explore, and not affect the larger setting.
I don't think GW and FFG are all Disney/SONY over this, but I doubt we will see the Rak'Gol and other species/Cults/etc from the FFG Rpg's more than as the occasional reference in a Timeline or character fluff.
Scalebug though the Expanse, Calixis Sector, and the Screaming Vortex is canon and is extremely close to the main sectors of Imperial space, with it being separated from the Imperium by the least dangerous part of the Schism..
Well if, and/or when, they are made a playable race; At least people might lay off of the whole "Necrons are too OP". Because it would easily be replaced with "Rak Gol are too OP".

You guys are the kings....no, no, no, EMPERORS of UA-cam warhammer 40k lore. Please don't be afraid of revisiting old lore that gets new updates. My home screen is packed with your vids bc I watch them so much. Love it when you go deep into the lore. Please consider doing a podcast. I know many of us would love to hear it. There seems to be a bit of a void on well produced content. I really appreciate you two and the patrons.

If any form of radiation is relevant to consistent mutational patterns, wouldn't that imply a predisposition for mutations?

The region of space that the Rak’gol are found in is much closer to Terra than the regions the Tyranids are found, and Tyranids were discovered after them in the lore..
It is heavily hinted in the books that the Rak'Gol have some kind of connection with the Yu'vath, which was a warp sorcery using race destroyed during a Imperial Crusade into the Calyx Expanse.

Just a thought: If the emperor of mankind is a perpetual how was he mortally wounded so bad that he cant regenerate? why didnt they let the emperor die to fully resurrect?
As far as i know perpetuals need to "die" first to be reborn.and i dont think its a instant thing.plus they dont know if the big E is a perpetual and turning off the astronomican is a no no :p
@@aliushali6352 Big E is a Perpetual but he kept it secret, even from his sons, and he is currently held at 1 second before death. That was how Vulcan had gotten his. While turning the astronomican would go out for a moment if he were to be re-born the problem is that a body could no longer hold the power he has massed while on the throne.

THREE QUESTIONS FIRST Why does the one Warhammer 40k tank look like the French Char B1 heavy tank from World War 2 images.app.goo.gl/95RZcoW7ZNBNRWwg9 Here is a image of the French Char B1 and what I mean by that is the smaller caliber gun in the turret and the larger caliber shorter barrel cannon in the front of the Hull? The tank I am talking about is the Baneblade and I also might count the Leman Russ as well when I say they remind me of the Char B1 from WW2. SECOND And do you think the Abrams M1A2 tank would be able to take out any of the tanks in WarHammer 40k because I heard that the one tank only has a about 125mm cannon and the Abrams has a 120mm cannon made to take out tanks and can fire on the move? most of this lore sounds so general...its like you discribe half the alien species of all fantasy and scifi out there, its all over the place...this vid is pointless...i assume these things are not canon right? They also sound like Rak Ghouls from star wars so i dont see there things ever becoming a thing in 40k.
