2004 i was in iraq, never really listened to music but boredom can change that quick. I chose 3 albums to listen to that day and one was genie in a bottle(WOW was that bad), eminem and Nickelbacks silver side up. No contest, Nickelback was for me....20 years later they're still the best band i've ever heard, i can relate to nearly every song and have never understood the hate.....in fact it made them even better. Thank You Nickelback

I remember the first time I listened to Nickelback, I was 13 years old and I listened to Lullaby and that song helped me deal with self-harm and depression. I love u guys and I thank you every day for the inspiration and strength you brought me 🇧🇷❤️
My 2nd favourite nickelback song. I don’t know why, but that song just hits something deep in me. I’ve never had anything like that or known anyone like that, but the song is just so powerful that it makes me feel like I know people going through those rough spots
This love hate relationship the media and social media has with Nickelback reminds me of my two other favorite rock bands: AC/DC, who just announced a 50th anniversary tour, and Def Leppard, who is currently touring, in support of their 12th album and is one of only five bands/artists that have released TWO albums that have Platinum status.
As a Nixon baby, I love the fact that there is a band still rocking that is my age.
Nickelback was my first favorite band and so much of my younger life is now memorialized by their albums and their songs. I was about 8 or 9 and had just moved to South Carolina around the time the All the Right Reasons album came out. I had heard a ton of older bands through my mom and stepdad like Metallica, Motley Crue, and Aerosmith just to name a few but Nickelback was the first band that I gravitated toward and just couldn't get enough of. I remember getting the special edition CD that came with the behind-the-scenes tour diary and I still have it today. I remember being in middle school in 2008 when Dark Horse was released and my girlfriend at the time was also a huge Nickelback fan and she bought me the CD as a gift and I still have it as well...we listened to it on repeat constantly and our favorite song together was "I'd Come for You" even though life has taken us in different directions her and I still message each other when we can but if either of us ever really need someone to talk to or need some sort of help then we call and that is the song we have for each others ringtone. Thank you Nickelback!

I never ever understood the hate for this band. I have always loved them and have, on occasion, listened to nothing but Nickelback all day long because it is high energy and fun and just great. The piss poor father song hits home and even the part where Dad came back and made amends and how that was actually really great. Literally my story. You got the cheeky, the deep, the loud, and a little soft. Nickelback does it all and that is why I can listen all day long. Plus there is that much material. I got really worried when I saw Chad seem to be drunk a lot and didn't want to loose another favorite artist, but it seems now everyone is in a healthy place. That makes me happy. I hopefully, one day, will finally get to a concert. The only other band that got almost as much airtime was Skillet and then Flyleaf.

I may not like every song you've put out or will put out, but you'll always be one of my favorite bands of all time.
Seeing you guys live was top of my father's and my bucket list, but we lost him in 2017, so it's up to me now.
I have literally never missed a single Nickelback concert that has ever come to Houston TX. Chad is always the first one to yell "God bless Texas" into the mic and it's off to the races from them. Every person in the audience either watched them from the start or grew up listening to them. And every last one of us are singing at the top of our lungs.
Lost my virginity while How You Remind Me was playing after a Friday night football game, October of 2001. Good times, good times.
Nickleback is & will ALWAYS be my FAVORITE & the BEST of the WORLD ROCK BAND 🎸!!!!! You’ll always have “haters” but the TRUE & REAL FANS will ALWAYS override the “haters”!!!!! Let’s keep it ROCKEN & I HOPE they’ll put out a NEW ALBUM soon!!!!! But until then, the fans like myself will ALWAYS continue on listening to their FOREVER 🎵 MUSIC!!!!!

Nickelback, I have no idea why you think you were the most hated band. As a professional musician for the past 30 years, I couldn't disagree more. The circle of other musicians I know didn't feel that way either. You are by far one of THE BEST bands I've ever seen in my entire life and your music is awesome.
I went to my first concert and took my son with me here in Perth wa you guys were amazing, ignore the hater’s the world is filled with them atm more so now than ever before, jealousy is why they behave the way they do, young, talented good looking guys who can sell out stadiums everywhere you go, keep on doing what you love.❤
I want to love Nickelback. As a Canadian, I found a lot of their songs were overplayed on Canadian radio. Updated: as I listen to Nickelbacks cover of Dirty Laundry, I realize, I do in fact love Nickelback. "All The Right Reasons" was an amazing album. I also still can't get enough of "Side of a Bullet," which most Canadian radio stations wouldn't play. These guys have a lot of great songs... and they will have a lot more to come! I might have to see this film
The first time I listened to nickelback song was when I was 13yrs.. N over this years, now im 34 this year, n still nickelback is one of my favorite hardrock band.. N I dont intend to stop listening till the day im no more in this world...

I saw Nickelback in New Orleans on their Dark Horse Tour in 2009 and was blown away! Was on the floor and watched from maybe 10 feet away to Chad. By far one the BEST concerts I’ve ever been too! All the Right Reasons is still one of my favorite albums. Listened to it today! Far Away is my absolute favorite song ❤ Please come back to New Orleans! Once is not enough to see y’all live!
I don't understand the hate for this band at all. Nickel back is still tho to this day among my fav bands.
My first song that I listened to was when I was about 13 years old on my iPod touch 2nd gen. The song was called 'Saving Me'. I fell in love with this band instantly and started listening to all their other songs too afterwards.

Dude Ive loved these guys for years, seen em live at least 10 times and never been dissapointed. I never understood the hate, I feel like its just “cool” to hate on them. Sure I havent heard a good album from them in a while, but hell I could say that about a lot of bands I like. Long live Nickelback. 🤘🏻

I wasnt really into music in my early teens, but had like three unrelated CDs, and then the full collection from nickelback 😂 I knew every song by the first string of the guitar 🫶 They are a part of my personal history, and I am looking foreward to seeing this.

I own every album, and have been to at least 3 of their Australian Tours. Nickelback is my favourite band, and that will never change.
I love Nickelback The first song that I ever heard by them was called some day it played at the end of a movie I was watching called Torque and it was my mom's favorite band as well the first two songs I ever heard by them with her were far away and photograph she passed away in October of 2021 and sometimes it brings tears to my eyes when I listen to the songs by them that me and her used to listen to but I will always be a big supporter of Nickelback

Well, if it's any conciliation(doubt it helps all That much) But I grew up through all of it, and I always thought all the hate was dumb. Your music wasn't Life changing, really, but it always brightened my mood, listening to a good, solid song I could vibe with. And Nickleback was that. Easily one of my favorite rock bands, of all time. Keep changing lives, guys. You. Rock.

Nickleback has to be the greatest band alive. I think the overall hate against this band is something really special, like global placebo hate. Just because some people on the internet thrashed it, no one wanted to miss out on the hate.

For me as a musician tbey are above all excellent composers of very catchy rock songs. The best since 2000.
I met them a few years ago and I can definitely say they are a really great bunch of guys. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember and think the title of this film is spot on. I have never understood why people target this band.
I will so be wachting this! This band is a large part of my teenage years and helped shape my musical taste.
I honestly believe that even now, in 2024, Chad's voice is one of the best Voices of the industry to have not only survived but grown significantly as many of the iconic frontmen voice ranges have fallen somewhat dramatically.

It's amazing how easily folks' opinion can be changed via media... Or rather the opinion of the loud minority online. Nickelback never did anything worth such hate. All they did is produce music. You don't like it? Ok, it's your taste, your choice. I find it scary how the people in charge can alter the perception so drastically and so fast. I loved Nickelback since my teen years when I heard them the first time, and I still love them now, when I'm in my 30s. Phenomenal music, true geniuses that capture emotion which bonds with people and their life experiences at the time, so it sticks with you forever. Nothing, but good memories with their songs, which are time travel machines for me, bringing me back to the times that I feel such immense nostalgia for. No amount of propaganda will ever change that. And the people speak with their money, I hear every single performance is booked to the maximum anywhere they go. Good art is good art, propaganda can't blind the masses from what they feel. I'm not sure on who's toes they did step on to deserve this mindless attack from the mainstream media, but I'm pretty sure it's from THAT group, which only makes me love them even more. All the best for you, Nickelback!!! I love you and thank you for your music, you are AWESOME!!!

Been a fan since the first album….. great rock band.
I actually grew up on Nickelback. First song of theirs I remember best is "Hero". It was in the soundtrack to the first Spider-man movie, and as I got older, it grew on me. Honestly, Idk whether or not I would've known about, or even liked, Nickelback if it hadn't been for the Spider-man movie. I can't say for certain. But I'm really grateful, because I became a fan. And being a fan of Nickelback is something I will never regret or be ashamed of, no matter how many haters come and troll me for it.

Saw Nickelback in a small venue in 2000 or 2001 and we were so close that Chad threw water on us because it was hotter than hell! Saw them again years later in a sold out, large venue! That time I got a t-shirt that was shot to us by their t-shirt gun thingy! Love Nickelback!!!
