I was wondering what happened to The Last Emperor. He's just another rapper that's way too talented for the mainstream. It's a shame the rappers like him and groups like Mood are extremely talented, but most people haven't hear of them.
Non many people know this but I have been toying with the idea of making a documentary for 2 years titles "where happened to the last emperor?", i wrote a timeline and basic outline for production already, even bought a brand new camera to learn shooting. He's my #1 G.O.A.T, but this, this is REALLY underwhelming. His return should have been.... 'SOMETHING', y'know! Knowing the extent of this mans work, this is disrespectfully below par. For a start it should have been a solo return, this *is* the legendary rapper's favourite rapper after all, be the focus, this is your long-awaited return to the tournament, people thought you were dead, you've been resurrected to your awaiting listeners. Bring a new sound, keep it 90's if you want but for God's sake experiment and switch it up a bit. I'm sorry to even say these things but I hope someone on his team reads this and tells the man he's wasting an opportunity. He's the best rapper of all time, concepts out of this world, sick cadence, rhyme schemes, content, hooks even (me and my my caravaaaan), full package-type rapper! THE LAST EMP SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE SLEPT ON!
His voice has aged badly....still a fan of his though. If he drops a new project, he should include some older unreleased tracks as bonus tracks, like Meditation (original version), etc
