When the big bird creates the tornado, it creates a unit with the tempest ability. I think that is where that ability comes from and it also explains why the tornado sometimes has a healthbar and why you can click on it. I think you can also select it and move it, if you created it.
Yeah, dat's it. I'm pretty sure the reason Untargetable capability is coded into ability, instead of being tornado's innate quality, is because it's an antique piece of code straight from WC3 since days of All-Stars.

@@replikvltyoutube3727 illusions cannot bash, and there is a limit to how many illusions can spawn from PL ult, so it kind of gets anti-synergy with spectre ult because the illusion will be spread over 5 heroes instead of concentrated on one target. Thirst is great tho.

Dude he literally said he bans one ability after every match today. "Spell immunity" is not banned the ability "debuff immunity" is. Also by the fact that tempest was picked against him after he "banned" "spell immunity" and he didn't get salty should give you enough evidence you might be misunderstanding the whole point of this no rules but rules type of setup.

@@edmis90tempest was first picked on game 2 (see 20:00). Also it is not spell immunity, its technically targetting immunity. You can see they get affected by the global range spells and I'd guess any regular AoE spell also works against it.
