Excellent drink! However, I highly recommend drinking this first thing in the morning.. to drink at bedtime would induce digestion and cause restless sleep.. very possibly diarrhea for some or extra trips to potty.. drinking in the morning will jumpstart metabolism & clear the mind! Blessings!!

These beverages look interesting and are inexpensive, but I feel like the “pulp” from these drinks could be used as a salad dressing or a light sauce for meats.

Don't bother to remove the cucumber in a sieve. drink everything. it's food!
oh... I remember, I don't peel the cucumber. Just wash and remove seeds.
If you're trying to detox your body, honey isn't such a good idea.

I love green tea, but it can throw the thyroid off.. if anyone has never used green tea, just watch for signs of anxiety, increased heart rate.. love the addition of the cucumber! And the note to remove seeds.. perhaps could blend a small cucumber with the ginger to drink it all? The seeds are a powerhouse of nutrition!

You aren’t supposed to drink anything before bed because you get up during the night to whiz. Nobody does videos saying that though.

Nice cucumber and ginger juice. As you recommend the preparation, keep in mind how you peel the ginger. Even if it comes to for free, cutting off the skin carelessly and deeply is not very wise. You can just scrub with your knife and peel the upper layer off it rather then peeling and cotting off parts of the ginger fruit. Take care. People watch you and copy you. Peeling ginger or even other fruits and vegetables deep is not good as the parts near to skin are more nutritious.
Why not leave peel on? Loaded with vita and fiber
My mother used to say that. She grew up on a large farm. She would wash everything really well and soak a few minutes in water and apple cider vineger. She is 86. My grandmother lived to 92.

If organic no need to remove peel. But commercially produced fruit and veg have heavy residue of pesticides and other chemicals used in production and to keep produce fresh

A lot of vitamins and minerals are in the peel. Just clean it to get the wax off (if store bought) and use it.
Alternatively, cut the ends off the lemon and quarter it. Then dump the four quarters into the blender as is. 😁 The lemon skin is very healthy.

Yo sabía una receta con los mismos ingredientes pero de distinta manera:
En una jarra de vidrio se ponen 2 litros de agua, un pepino cortado en rodajas pero con todo y cáscara, 20 hojas de menta, un limón igualmente cortado en rodajas con cáscara, al igual que un trozo de gengibre, pero no se licua, solo se deja en el agua 24 hrs y los ingredientes soltarán sus propiedades, después se toma como agua de tiempo durante 10 días, se descansan 7 días y se vuelve a hacer de nuevo, les aseguro que funciona, yo bajé 10 cm de cintura, y hacía abdominales y planchas! Háganlo! Funciona!

Danke für die Rezepte. Ich möchte aber noch einen kleinen Tipp mitgeben. Alles was den Stoffwechsel ankurbelt, sollte in den frühen Morgenstunden, nach dem aufstehen, genommen werden. Wenn man Sport macht um abzunehmen, dann hat das auch in den frühen Morgenstunden den stärkeren Effekt. Der Körper verbrennt in den frühen Morgenstunden am meisten. Bzw. zu dieser Zeit, wo der Magen noch leer ist und der Körper noch nicht durch neue Speisen am verdauen ist, geht der Körper an angesammelte Reserven und verbrennt diese.
Ich frage mich immer wie viel davon ich trinken soll. Alles? Ein Glas? Ich hab keine Ahnung
@@1985Eule ich denke, so wie es im Rezept aussieht, ein Glas pro Abend. So ist es sonst zumindest mit solchen Rezepten. Allerdings kann ich sicher sagen, dass der Rest für den anderen Tag, keine Nährstoffe mehr beinhaltet.
Somit würde ich vom Gefühl sagen, alles an einem Tag, muss aber nicht unbedingt abends sein. Der Stoffwechsel wird am besten angekurbelt, wenn man sowas morgens vorm Frühstück trinkt. Dann geht es an die Reserven, da der Körper noch nicht mit der Verdauung von frisch zu genommen Speisen zu tun hat.

@@marinelma5386 I drink Braggs apple cider vinegar with a little bit of warm water not hot water just warm because hot can ruin the bacteria that’s good for you I squeeze a little lemon in it and a drop of Stevia to take away the tart and drink it first thing in the morning before I do anything else soon as I open my eyes I go to the kitchen and have a drink of it and at night I do it before dinner because it dissolves as you eat. Use 4 to 6 ounces of water a half tablespoon or a whole tablespoon your preference of Apple cider vinegar a tablespoon of lemon juice or half just make it the same as the episode of vinegar a drop or two of Stevia if you have a liquid Stevia Trader Joe’s sells one for like five bucks or less it last for a year you can buy brags anywhere now but if you have a Sam’s or Costco card I’ve seen them there for a gallon pretty cheap

Creo que es exagerado tres pepinos y ese trozo enorme de Jengibre, un pepino sería suficiente, y hasta medio, un pedacito de Jengibre y las hojas de menta bien, ojo hipertensos no consumir Jengibre y sería mejor en ayunas. Gracias por tu tiempo.
As a bulimic promoting the idea of dissolving your food is very dangerous territory. Also no food can "dissolve" another. Calories in, calories out is the only way to lose weight.

Muy bueno ese jugo pero esa cantidad sería para una semana gengibre es demasiado es bueno pero poca cantidad y los jugos verdes es mejor en ayunas y no colar pero cada quien su gusto
