This tongue has the slit cut in it like the highs do and doesn’t have all the stitch lines. I’m not complaining. I actually like the change as well as the better leather. You can even see the unfinished edges on the leather. Great shoe. I hope they keep making them like this.

Yes the insole is glued as well as being stitched so AJ1’s don’t fall apart at the midsole as much due to that construction in my opinion.
