Also the third touch screen on edit is not the marker it says A and V and zoooms in and out i am unsure😊
(edit) got the dials working. If you guys are having this issue on windows with the last 2 knobs nit working in windows
The pack is fully functional. Can you confirm you followed all the pdf instructions and are using an english keyboard layout with our keyfile? Those last 2 pages you are referring to need to be user-configured. Instructions are in the pdf.
The 4th dial isn’t zooming in and out at all
The 4th rotary dial set up just shows questions marks ugh i need a refund . Can you please check or redo or fix sorry thanks
Do you know why the rotary is unable to change the volume anymore (under edit) on MAC. Also the last button on touch screen is a question mark,. Can you please provide updates or address issues for new users. I just bought it yesterday and bummed that some of this stuff doesn’t work thanks
The volume control is working (have a clip selected). If you are seeing a question mark that indicates you have not installed our MouseMove plugin. Please make sure all steps in the pdf are completed.
Within the Editing SD+ page, on page #8, you can customize the each dial and its actions. Each one has 4 little touch titles that read: Custom1, Custom2, Custom3 and Custom4.
Where can I possibly find a tutorial or a video or instructions on how to customize those? That would help me save tremendous amounts of time. Thank you SO much!!

@@SideshowFX Hi there, On page 22 all it says is: "The purpose of this page is to allow you to create your own commands. You can control any interface element (effects for example) either with the slider controls or with the click controls." But it does not say 'how'. Do you have a support page showing what to input into 'Admin Mode' for example? I have no clue how to edit those 4 little tabs (Custom1, Custom2, Custom3, Custom4). That would be really helpful! I could not find such page on your website...
@@BenjaminTemplar The process is the same as the previous examples in the pdf. Hover your cursor over the element you want to affect. Press and hold the key on the device to record that position.
Hi! Is it possible to switch bitween one fonction page to an other without wiping the screen. For exemple if, in edit mode, i want to direclty go from page 1 to page 5? Gotta be time consuming having to see each pages each time. Thanks!
Stream Deck has a "Go to Page" command you can drag to a key (you would need to replace something already there).
So, just to be SUPER clear: This pack does NOT use the Davinci Resolve API. Instead, it is "merely" a standard Stream Deck profile which configures said Stream Deck to send standard keyboard hotkey presses to the keyboard buffer, just like any other Steam Deck profile. (With the caveat that the user must also install a custom hotkey configuration in Davinci Resolve itself.) In fact, one could potentially configure all this oneself. What we are paying for is the hundreds (thousands?) of hours of work it took to set all this up and design all those frikkin' icons. (That's why I put quotes around "merely" earlier. 😊)

In theory yes you are mostly correct that this is "merely" a shortcut-based stream deck profile. One in which we spent months developing and designing so you don't have to. There is some added functionality we have included giving you access to inspector controls through our custom plugin (which also took months to develop).
@@SideshowFX Is that a custom plugin for Davinci Resolve? In that case, it would pretty much be like you created your own API for Davinci Resolve. That would be super cool!
Is it possible for users of your product to create their own Stream Deck buttons, using your API-ish plugin, in order to create their own custom macros?
@@GrantSR It is a custom plugin we developed for Stream Deck in general. Capable of handling pretty much any mouse click, wheel command and shortcut command in any order in a macro. It is not publicly available, only assigned to the commands we program it for within our packs. It is not customizable to the end user at this time.

This is awesome. One question I have is, is there a way to connect the dials to the curves? So I can adjust the hue/saturation/luminance?

We are coming up with a color panel pack that can work with Davinci resolve. We wrote a utility PLUGIN that can work on windows out of the box with only a few installation setup needed.

How does the Stream Deck interact with Resolve? Is the Stream Deck just simulating key presses? Or is there a software or drivers installed on the system that interacts with Resolves scripting API or something similar?
I am asking, so I can check compatibility to our systems if third party drivers or software is required.

@@hruettimann no software needed other than the one that comes with streamdeck. The app stores the key strokes and can even store multiactions for the button presses.

Is there any chance of creating an Avid Media Composer pack that would add mixer and CC tools, etc that will work with this newest Streamdeck+.

Does the control of mouse action (drag, move to location, click , click and hold etc) require different type of software to be implemented? or It's all built in stream deck application?
We wrote a script for this to work. You don't need any other software.

@@SideshowFX I've purchased this pack and tried it today based on the fact that script was written for mouse action, and I've found out that it's all shortcut-based. Next value selection is all multiple tab and page up/down short cut key that it doesn't work most of the time. I regret my purchase.
@@hjlee918 Hi John as you can see above I had corrected myself as I thought I was responding in the video for our Color Panel which is script based. This pack is shortcut driven. That said, I am concerned you're having issues with the parameter selection. Please open a chat between 9am and 5pm EST on our site and I'll sort out what the issue. is.
when you Activate a still, can you use the dials to move it like you do with the mouse?
Not at this time.

@@ACColorGrading It may be possible in a future version. We're trying to get Elgato to allow for Mouse Click and Drag on the dials which would make this happen.

Using the coarse and fine dials for zoom and position would be the best

What if I purchase your company's STREAM DECK XL PRO PROFILES and this Stream deck plus profile? Will they be compatible? Can they be used simultaneously?
Sure if you have a SD+ device and an XL device they can be run simultaneously.
