i think they ask youtubers about being rich or wealthy, because some people live in council homes (so they are considered poor), but once they see someone in a large home, with a car they consider you well off or rich. so for example, if you live in a council house, are very frugal, and worrying about money a lot, or giving your parents money when your student finance drops, or being told to save your money. I think thats a reality for some people, for some poor people having your own money isn't your own money because we have to give money to our parents, and also cant remember the last holiday they've been on
100% agree it’s a difficult topic what i tried to portray in the video is that i make my own money for things that i want but am very lucky to not have to worry about the necessities which allows me to spend the money i earn on luxuries! i know this is obviously not the case for everyone but i tried to explain how simply being “rich” or not is not a clear cut thing and it’s hard to tell what people mean when they ask that :)
