This scenes shouldn’t have been dropped, it had important character moment here about Oliver wanting normal family with William something that he had to let it go in the end of the episode and thinking it again in the end of season 7.. just stupid editing

Stephen didn't feel the chemistry he had with Katie and Katie said she preferred playing Laurel from Earth 2 when she returned in Season 5.

I kinda understand why this scene was left. in this scene it is confirmed that oliver and felicity wanted william with them even if their lives were dangerous. but we saw in flash forward where older william said oliver and felicity left him. so to keep that mystery they left this out scene.
Crossovers are awesome dont get me wrong. But having a crossover in the first half of every season kinda blows tbh. Some examples were Flashpoint with the Flash in season3. If it wasnt for the crossover, i feel like we couldve spent the entire first half of season 3 in the flashpoint timeline, with the midseason finale having barry fix wat he did wrong. Same with arrow season 7, if it wasnt for the crossover, we couldve had more time with oliver in prison. the first half of season 7 was really good, but the back half was a bit of a mess.
1)They never planned on leaving barry in flashpoint for long. If they did there wouldn't have been any filler in the first half of season 3 and they would have stretched out flashpoint in its place. 2)Oliver was in prison for 7 entire episodes. That's insanely long.
Season 1,2 &5 were the best I thought season 7 will be AWESOME but it turns out it is kinda bad(the first midseason was amazing then the other midseason dropped) My opinion

The scene was cut for time because the producers needed to reveal that this ship was pregnant and show their daughter in the flashforwards. It always amazes me that these ppl will go out of their way to not only click on a video that is about a couple they don’t like but also leave a comment. Like is it really that hard for them to just keep scrolling and let other ppl enjoy things without their negativity.
Even the best seasons of this show were an acquired taste. It just felt like a bunch of Superhero cliches and tropes. Which could have been a good thing if they were executed in a way that felt more realistic and not like a routine. The recited delivery of dialogue didn't help it feel very realistic at all. I binged season 1 on Netflix and save for a few standout episodes, I don't get the big deal about this show. Same with season 2. Season 2 had maybe 6 standout episodes (since those were the episodes that focused on the main plot). Everything else felt like filler. It's insulting to the people who invest their time into these shows when the producers or whoever decides to pad them to the max. An INSULT!!! I mean it's not like I can get those wasted hours back. And it doesn't help that the characters are so dislikable. If the characters were at least likable then the padding and dragged out seasons would have been less of a chore. But you got characters that do morally questionable and reprehensible things regularly and behave like children and even fret over trivial things like dating or sex when there are people going through worse and have gone through worse. It's like the show went out of it's way to make the characters dislikable. Okay Mr. Queen you're damaged but that's no excuse. Had a bad day? Still no excuse. You graduated from MIT? Still no excuse to look down on people less fortunate and less educated than you(Felicity). You got PTSD from the war in Afghanistan? Still no excuse to go around killing people and carrying live firearms on you during your crusade. Just deplorable and/or depraved individuals with no real accountability for their actions. No self accountability which is the most important kind of accountability. No real remorse or anything.
