Thanks for sharing! So many memorials in one spot. Thanks for all the good tips. One of my favorite spots in London: the best bang for your buck, or in this case, quid. "Oh, to be in England, now that April's there."
I am a huge fan of war memorials. And this these in Hyde Park are wonderful tributes to the fallen soldiers. In the arch, the artifacts of England's war fighters during WWI is something I would love to spend lots of time with in there. Sadly, I do not know much about England's stance and casualties during WWI - I must study. But would greatly appreciate the museum in there. I enjoyed looking at the memorial walls for England, Australia, and New Zealand. So the crossed iron posts - such memorials. Interesting the posture of them to resemble the posture of the soldiers preparing for battle - both in individual standing positions as well as the formation of the group. Beautiful carvings in the posts. I saw war birds carved in one that were so well done. I guess those war birds would be from WWII? I even saw some red poppies on the ground surrounding one of them. I am sure the poppies are artificial, but beautiful. The granite memorial walls were beautifully done. A reverent place to be. Great views a top of the arch. And the iron gates are exquisite!! Enjoyed this one. Blessings.
When you were going up the monument I got dizzy 😵 as I have vertigo, so that showed me how high you were. I never knew about the inside and it looks very interesting. I thought parts of the end of the Australian war memorial looked a bit strange but it was really nicely done. I wasn't sure about the New Zealand War memorial either but then the close ups showed all the details and I thought it was really interesting. I wouldn't like to be in the 5 star hotel which must have amazing double glazing. Your view would be a lot of traffic despite all the beautiful things to look at. Very interesting post.
0:17 Beat me to it. That is a great little coffee shop
Amazing coffee shop and we will feature it soon in a different video as it is such a find :)

Yes, they have done all the memorials so differently and with their own touch and lovely views from up high :)

Can you imagine that traffic noise, sorry what did you say whilst trying to have breakfast :)
How did they get those large paintings up there?
Very carefully 😉👍😀
