Really love the sound of your diesel! Is it just a 3” straight pipe with a middle resonator? I have a 335d but would love for it to sound similar to yours!
Thank you! Sound was really great! It is complete 3" from Turbo with 2mm Material. In place of dpf is a little silencer and in the middle of the exhaust also, but also small diameter (100mm). In place where the middle silencer was, now a Quarter-wavelength Resonator Took place.
Sounds perfect looking to do it on my 325d think res sounds good don't want hight pitch turbo sound that's just right you still hear it on some throttle. Is it standard res in place?
Einfach mal Google bemühen, da findet man schon was.
Hi pal! I was wondering if i can use a small bit of this video in my all bmw e90˙s diesel acceleration and sound comparison video.I will tag you in the credits with your name and link.Hoping for your consideration😊
Thats good! is the quarter wave resonator already in the system from factory, or did you add it? also just to confirm you've only removed the DPF and rear muffler with 3" pipe as replacement? Sounds great and I'm considering doing it to my LCI 330D
I dont know if you will see this or not, but I live in Germany and own one of these and I can't find any information on whether I can pass inspection by doing things like dpf deletes and egr deletes
@@Patty-qy8qh blow off valve has nothing to do with regulating boost pressure.. On any car.. And VTG neither... VTG is altering th turbine behavior to better fit gas flow at difderent rpm ranges...
Who did your remap? I was expecting the puff of black smoke (and to be fair there is some but it's very faint considering there's no DPF) but to get something like that would usually be down to a good remap creating a better combustion. Have you had yours on a dyno as well?
MrSweetE90 I have a stage 2 remap on same car, n57 engine..but i left The cat intact, 98% no smoke or smell. But i dont have The dpf to worry about and more free flow.
Nice, I've got the pre-lci which has the M57 engine and has slightly less power with 231hp whereas yours is 241 I believe at stock. You're right about the DPF, if you're not clued up about how they work and how easily they can start to block up then you'll be in trouble down the road so it definitely is less to worry about haha. I haven't checked your channel yet but I was going to see if you had any 0-60 pulls, have you done any other upgrades like intercooler/hybrid turbo or a transmission flash? I really want to flash mine with xhpflashtool and stick a stage 3 on but I need to service the transmission first as it's done 148k on the same oil haha.
Magnifique

@@christianka8058 Seems the link is broken. Have you got any more information? I'd love to do this but don't know where to start
im not a bmw boy but i know that 35d’s has 2 turbos, does this one have a single turbo?
Though it's a 30d, it has single turbo
Just exhaust like 335
Compound turbo. It has a little one that builds boost then the main spins up . This is to reduce turbo lag
Standard tail lights?

It is complete custom built from Turbo
It's only 335d that gets a loud turbo whistle. 325d and 330d doesn't.
Is this a whole 3” exhaust or just a 3” downpipe
Whole 3". Turbo to the end

Do you get much black smoke after the dpf delete? any drone?
Marcus Di Blasio i've got almost no smoke and droning is nearly eleminated by a quater wave resonator

No, that's illegal in Germany
Dpf leeren mit aktivem kat geht. Bei der AU kommst du dann trotzdem durch
Put it all on a “flange” and when test comes, out stock exhaust back on

What blow off valve do you have?
I don't have one. Everything standard
Diesels do not work with blow off valves, they work with VTG! The turbo changes the angles on the turbine blades to change the boost.

What do you think? ;)
