Very epic you beaten Chapter 1! Here's more tips I got. 1. Unit Level: Every chapter you beat, the unit level cap increases by 5 and the base lvl cap by 2. So, for chapter 1 the max lvl cap is 15. But if you beat Chapter 2 it goes up to 20. This will keep going till Chapter 7 which is maxxed lvl at lvl 45. 2. Stars: Stars are like difficulties, 1 star being easy where all unit price and enemy strength is at the lowest while higher stars increase the unit price and enemy strength. The maximum difficulty is 3 stars where enemies are 2x stronger while the unit price is 2x more expensive. 3. Lil-units: Every chapter you 300% complete [beaten all 30 stages at 1-3 stars], it rewards you a lil-unit (mini version of the final boss) So for chapter 1, if you complete it at 3 stars you unlock Lil Doombringer. [You can claim them at the badges section, beside the almanac icon] 4. Enemy Strength: aka Maginification or mag displays how powerful the enemy is on the stage's info For example if a stage has a strength maginification of 200%, An enemy with 50 BASE hp will have 100 hp instead. 5. Anti traits: All units with an anti-trait will deal 25% more dmg to that specific trait, it also takes 25% less dmg from the specific trait. 6. Red Trait: Enemies with the Red trait will have higher base hp, They also have a special ability in which they gain a permanent dmg boost upon reaching half hp. Also when red enemies reach half hp, they will spawn a small red explosion that has a BASE damage of 20 to nearby units.
Everyone starts their chapter at 1 star, in order to progress to 2 stars, you have to beat all stages in that chapter. So for example, you beat stages 1-30 for a chapter. A small star icon will appear on the top left in which you can select the difficulty/amount of stars by clicking on it
About the bomb rush xp grinding I forgot to mention you need higher levels on starting economy and a little bit extra on kamikaze Anyways thanks for putting me in the video Matt :D
Here's a very crucial thing that nobody bothered to tell you in the past. Upgrading the bank increases cash generation by a LOT. Level 1 - 4 give you barely any cash when compared to level 5 - 8. This also applies to every other bank that you can buy in the game.
Detonator (idk name but its a red bank) doesn't increase money, only capacity and increases the cash when u kill enemys and resets the timer to 1 minute but it gets faster and faster the more u upgrade it
Hey matt! Every chapter increases battler level cap by 5 and base level cap by 2! I heavily advise upgrading Trowel Battler to level 10 to get his alt Builder Battler! He builds walls six times his base health but at the cost of the wall taking 1.5 seconds to build one layer of wall. Reaching it's full potential at 6 seconds. Another thing to know: Uber Rares are very expensive, in order to fully max out (currently, since the cap is currently 25) a single one is 420,000 XP. This also applies to Lil' Units which are obtained when beating a chapter on 3 stars! Edit: In my experience, upgrading and focusing on one thing at a time is the best approach (From my experience) Glad to see you playing this game Matt, it really deserves more attention!
hey matt, i don't think anyone has ever told you this (since every comment i see talks about units, which is not a bad thing) but there are TYPES OF CANNONS AND BANKS. i will just tell you which cannons and which banks are good for which things: DEFAULT CANNON -- not used so much, deals mid area damage, good if there's a lot of weak enemies in one spot DEFAULT BANK -- not used so much either, i suppose it's good if you don't have units that cost a lot GATLING CANNON -- actually really good cannon! SORT OF a boss killer, since it's incredible single target damage, it's also good cleanup if there's a lot of enemies that have low health and are spammed a lot POWERHOUSE BANK -- also incredible bank, it's used if you don't want a lot of units but want a lot of money, it increases money output but decreases unit recharge, so you can't get as much units SLAMMER CANNON -- this thing is a GODSEND. it's incredible area damage, it gives higher base health, however, the cannon does not have global range, but it's area damage makes up for it, really good cannon but it's bad in some situations, it's good when you save up money to upgrade the bank early, so you can just use the cannon while spamming some meatshields so you just don't lose INVESTMENT BANK -- best late game bank EVER. it doesn't make that much money in early game, but it has 4 extra levels that make this thing so overpowered that i don't even know at this point. very bad for speedrunning, but probably the best bank for late game TREASURE CANNON -- does not deal damage, however it gives you money if you use the cannon. it also increases the bounty for all enemies on screen, which make them give more money upon killing them, good when you have a lot of money shortages IGNITION BANK -- kind of like investment, but not for late game. gives you less money, but when you upgrade it then it temporarily makes your units faster. good for speedrunning ABSORBER CANNON -- spawns a temporary shield, very similar, if not, the same as iron wall cannon from the battle cats, it's good when you don't focus on meatsheilds as much and focus on long range damage more DETONATOR BANK -- this bank makes it so there's limited time for a match. there's a one minute timer that if drops to 0, literally kills you. you can make the match longer by upgrading the bank, since it resets the timer, but makes the timer go faster. also good for speedrunning RECOIL CANNON -- good cannon for boss stages. the thing that this cannon does is it knockbacks and temporarily stuns enemies, but the thing about this cannon is that it can knockback bosses as well, but it doesn't deal a lot of damage. literally. this thing deals ALMOST NO DAMAGE. this took wayyy too long to write i swear
Something that I've noticed a lot is Matt not upgrading his bank even when he has maximum units and maximum money. If you're reading this Matt, *PLEASE* upgrade your bank whenever you are in situations like this, or during early game. Bank level ups are key to success in 90% of stages, unless you're using something like Powerhouse or Detonator, which are two other banks.
From this point on you have 3 choices, you can go straight into chapter 2, explore the sub chapters, or try to complete 2 star chapter 1, stars increase unit cost and enemy levels (they get more health and damage) and if you want to know what completing all the stars do, look in the badges section, you get some pretty cool units
Hi Matt. I have tips gor you since I played this game a lot. 1. Get Krip. Hes in the Special Category and costs 100 or 150 bricks. He has Anti-Red which is good for chapter 2, but also he has INSANE DPS/FIRERATE!! Really Recommend using his normal or alt form, both are good. 2. You should Upgrade your Regen/Titan to their alt form since both of their alt forms make them EXTREMELY good for later stages. 3. If You beat a chapter on 1 star for the first time, your unit upgrade level cap will increase by 5 and base level upgrades will increase by 2 (Chapter 1: Lvl 15 Units & Lvl 12 Base) (Chapter 2: Lvl 20 Units & Lvl 14 Base) (Chapter 3: Lvl 25 Units & Lvl 16 Base) 4. Do Subchapters for a bit of xp but also bricks if you want/need to. Most of them are really easy anyways Hopefully this will help you! Love your content 🔥
Hey mat nice video I got some tips that helped me a TON while playing 1st try to get telamon (Titan alt) for it is really powerful it has more hp and has an ability to regen but trades it's attack speed (A titan can attack twice in 1 telamon attack) 2nd Dual speed coil Dual speed coil is a good staple for my composition as it trades speed for health and damage when he attacks he does knockback allowing you you push back enemies that are wayyy to far 3rd Banhammer battler (Alt form of hammer) Has aoe and armor allowing you to tank enemy ranged target's Here's some money to support you
(for banhammer battler) That stat is called Armor not Resistance though, you might be talking about Damage Resistance which reduce damage taken in percentage (Banhammer Battler does not have Damage Resistance [green icon stat thing], instead it have Armor [blue shield icon stat thing]) Armor sorts of make incoming weak damage attacks weaker, basically quick attacking unit like Slingshot Battler will do 1 damage to Hammer Batter/Banhammer Battler because they have Armor. ( the slingshot battler can ignore the Armor and do its regular damage if it have much better damage, like Rocket battler, Bomb battler do have high damage to take units with Armor down )
MATT. 2 things about beating chapters are that there are star difficulties you unlock them by beating the chapter. After beating the chapter for the first time you unlock 2 stars. After 2 star there is 3 stars, but after beating 3 stars you unlock a new unit which is the final boss as a smaller, weaker, form. This form is meant to be more balanced. Second the sub-chapters actually give a reward after you beat it such as a new unit or a new bank except for the first one but don't give a different reward in tumored mode.
Hey Matt, since you beaten star 1, you now reach chapter 2 star 1. Stars in this game give a harder diff. and units cost 50% more. WHEN YOU BEAT ANY CHAPTER ON STAR 3 YOU GET A SPECIAL UNIT, THAT HAS THE ANTI TO THE NEXT CHAPTER!
These videos are goated Btw if your battler and speed guy are leveled up enough you can upgrade the base once and keep spamming those 2 guys on the paintball map and get alot of xp
you only just can't mention macroing XP grinding in the Discord server though, your basically sort of allowed to use them but can't discuss about them in the Discord server
Owner get getting literally free traction from Matt I have not even heard of this game until he played it now im addicted it would be the owners best interest to not do anything
Alt units that might be useful: 1. Builder Battler (Trowel alt): -has better walls -has walls that have 6× more HP than his HEALTH -slower at building walls (1.5 seconds slower than Trowel Battler) 2.Titan's Alt (idk what his alts name is) -has a real chicken leg -he can REGENERATE his health when he is damage by eating the chicken leg -idk his weakness but its good trust 3. Dual Speed Battler (Do i have to say his name) -higher SPEED -higher DAMAGE -has a bigger cooldown -its ok against titan (if you can spam him haha) -increased unit price from 200 to 500
Hey Matt, I recommend looking at the enemy section of the almanac because you can learn useful things about enemies, but also just because the enemy descriptions are sometimes funny.
Hey Matt! Love your content! here's few things you need to do before doing 2 star Chapter 1 or Chapter 2. also, these are things i do first before going to ch 2 1. You must maxxed out your base and units to lvl 15, as it doesnt seem crucial. IT IS, since enemies will be more tougher to kill and will destroy your battlers and base. 2. It is highly NOT recommended to do tumore mode (as looking at your playstyle and levels) since tumore mode gives the enemies their alt form. 3. DO NOT GAMBLE YET - As you need those bricks to buy crucial special units such as grenade battler, hammer battler, etc. 4. If you need a grinding strat, here's mine Afk grinding strat. -Max your speed battler to lvl 10 or 15, to get its alt form, dual speed battler. Then, place it in Slot 6, then do the stage "Hammers and swords" and use the autoclicker on dual speed battler. As after victory, the autoclicker will click on the retry. (Also, make sure you have max base economy and starting cash)
Also, i forgot to mention, Tumore mode gives their alt form, which means they become more harder to beat. (I had to write this since yt wont let me edit.)
Matt, if you finish the first chapter on 3 star, you could get a lil unit which is basically a small version of the boss, all of the lils are real good so I recommend getting them
Great job on defeating Chapter 1! If you are confused how an enemy works or want to see the enemy cycle on a stage, please check out the wiki. Very helpful info. (enemy cycle is the order how enemies spawn)
Hey Matt! Just needed to say something. The difficulty ramps up quickly with these new chapters, and even faster doing 2 star and especially 3 star stages. I heavily reccomend trying to atleast MAX half of your loadout before beginning Chapter 2, beware of FIRE damage!
You're officially now an epic gamer11!! congratz Also the star system works alongside the badges, if you check the badges it will tell you what completing the stars does!
Hey Matt, i dont think anyone told you this but if you join battle bricks and there will be a purple gear (tumore logo) and you click on it 20 times, you will unlock tumore mode and its very hard because all enemies are gonna be in their alt form (10 lvl form) and bosses but you get 20% more xp on tumore mode and if you beat chapter one on tumore you get a tumored battler and it is a better of normall battler (thats all i know about tumore mode, i think there are some other tumored units you can get for beating chapter but i dont know😅) love your content!
I've finally found you I remember watching you play battle cats when I was younger and I finally found you after 3 years keep up the great work I'm glad you're still posting
Please read this. If u click the ! In the top left corner, u can see the enemy base hp, enemy hp, enemies, enemy base type, Etc. i wont spoil u but in some chapter, there will be effects that effect enemies and your battlers too. Like smoke, fire, etc. u can see them in the right menu in the ! Menu (If theres no effects, it will show nothing in the right)
Congrats on beating Chapter 1! I'm just telling you what all the cannons do. Cannon: Very basic. A single shot with some good splash damage. Gatling: Does high single target damage, and can retarget if it has to. Slammer (Can be purchased after completeing Chapter 1, which is the chapter you beat): Slams a giant hammer onto enemies dealing big damage. This cannon also adds some extra base health. Recoil (Can be purchased after beating the sub chapter Coil Chaos): Knocks back and stuns all enemies, even those that are resistant. Although, its damage is absolutely garbage. Use it on enemies like the Titan Battler. Treasure (Can be purchased after beating Chapter 2): This cannon gives you cash depending on the cannon power and applies a debuff to all enemies that increases their enemy bounty reward. Good if there are enemies that steal cash or if your bank is Ignition. Absorber (Can be purchased after beating Chapter 3): This cannon creates a wall with high resistance. A good substitute to other meatshields.
matt for the bomb battler strat you need early economy where you get extra money when you start the level, and kamikaze needs to be at the 6th slot where you keep your archer in 6:38
Amazing video! By the way, each chapter you have beaten (on 1 star) will give you more max upgrades like for example if you beat chapter 1 your units can be maxed to level 1. which is what you already did! oh yeah try keep clicking the purple gear when you open the game, there is something special about it.....
stars are actually pretty useful to do as every new star difficulty stage has their rewards reset meaning that they give more xp 1st time you clear it and every 5th stage and 10th stages award bricks again on 1st clear, completing all stages on 3 star (300% completing a chapter) also awards you with a lil version of the chapter's final boss that you can claim in badges section
W video as always! Good luck on chapter 2 it's hard but I believe you can beat it! And heres a few tips. A battler that has a anti trait takes less damage from said trait!! Sword battler is anti-red meaning he does more damage to red enemies and takes less damage from red enemies! I recommend that you try to place some anti-red battlers in your loadout if you want! It will make the chapter a bit easier. And I also recommend you check out some of the sub chapters you have unlocked! They give bricks and xp in case you need more and they sometimes give a cool reward when you beat a sub chapter like a new battler, base, or bank!
I would highly recommend upgrading your bank and bank cap also once you beat a chapter if you check badges, you can see you get units after you fully complete a chapter on tumore/normal.
Haven’t watched you in years bro, getting major nostalgia from this. Note, Mr. Doom bringer was actually an old Roblox admin, he was a cool guy. Don’t know if he still works at Roblox tho
I love the Battle Bricks Series! I just think you like it and love it is because, it acts like Battle Cats, idk if the Creator played battle cats and decided to make a game like it but in roblox, your Battle Bricks series is my fav lol, if this is a series I would watch all of your Battle bricks videos!
Probably wont read this but, Upgrading the base is one of if not the most important things you can do. Things such as economy, wallet amount, unit cooldowns or even cannon power can be upgraded which will make stages a lot easier
Very Awesome! I got some tips for you! Tip 1: Some alt forms are not always good for certain situations. You can always switch to their original forms if you need them. All of the alt forms have nerfs and buffs from their original form Tip 2: Once you 300% a chapter (complete all stars) when you go in badges you can claim a lil version of the final boss in the chapter. i dont want to spoil all of them to keep the other bosses a secret besides lil doom since you probobly already know about him! (if you already know this one skip it) Tip 3: If you click the purple gear (logo) at the start of the game a new mode will pop up: (Tumore Mode) the mode turns all enemies into their alt forms making it harder. I dont want to spoil the bosses or alt forms you dont know to make it more hype when you actually do the mode Tip 4: I reccomend using Krip (alt form) and Troweler Battler (alt form) since they both do really well! Krip is mostly for dps while Trowler battler is for defense since hes a great meatshield and spammable Thats all the tips i got i hope they were helpful!
Matt! You should press the red icon near the stages (near the gray gear too) on upperleft to know what enemies you will encounter, once you fought an enemy you didnt know, it will show up on the stage check thingy (bases, Base hp, enemy lvl will also appear. Enemy will be blank if you never had encounter it in the first place).
Since you have beaten chapter one you could probally get a new base income or a base attacker by clicking the base icon in the shop right next to units to buy some new bases with bricks. To access buying you click on the bank and base icon. I would recommend getting powerhouse for progressing or investment for bosses.
congrats on beating doombringer, from here i recommend you beat coil chaos in sub chapters and use the bricks to get recoil since it can stun and knockback bosses. Afterwards I recommend you start chapter 2(on camera) and off camera beat 2 star ch1 2 star is pretty much the same thing and usually around the same difficulty so it would be more boring to watch imo, 3 star difficulty is a bit different though, the difficulty increase is significant and after you beat it you will get a mini version of the boss.
Hey Matt, you can click the little danger icon with an exclamation mark, its around the upper left corner and it lets you check the enemies in the stage, magnifications (hp and damage multiplier), armor, and generally stats. Also, you should get a high-damaging battlers for armored enemies cause how they work is that they subtract the damage by their armor up until the battler deals 1 damage. Let’s say this enemy has 8 armor, and lets say this little slinger deals 8 damage, then it will only deal 1 damage every shot. But having a battler like rocket/crocket (alt of rocket) that deals 30 (rocket) 40 (crocket), then the armored enemy will take 22 or 32 damage per shot. Doom has 40 armor on 1 star btw.
Matt I have some crucial advice for you if your going to be doing red hights in the next video. The best unit for red hights is Krip, his range and dps is very good and he can literally carry all of red hights if you use him correctly. And by the way because you beat chapter one you can level up units to level 15 now. Good luck Matt!
Congrats on beating Mr. Doombringer! Now, you really did struggle on his stage a lot. Why? A reason could be his insanely high armor stat. I will explain what armor and other stats do as well. (get ready for an entire essay) Heart (HP) - you already know what this is lol Blue shield (armor) - Subtracts damage from the original damage taken, great for quick low-damaged attacks, like from slinger battler. (noted will always take atleast 1 damage) Green helmet (resistance) - this is similar to armor, except it is a percent, so for example, 50 resistance will take 50% less damage, great for high damaged attacks. (noted will take atleast 1 damage) Sword - Damage, you know this as well. 3 balls - fire rate, the higher it is, the longer the cool down, and the oppisite for low fire rate. Bow n’ arrow - range higher range means longer distance between the battler and the enemy. Boot - walk speed, I think you saw this from kamikaze, but I’ll explain anyway. Faster walk speed = faster the battler moves. Clock - unit recharge cent symbol - unit cost I also recommend checking the red triangle to see enemy stats. They can also be seen in the almanac (very useful!), along with some dialogue of their mechanics and your own battler’s stats. (Note, stats in the almanac are always at base stats.) thx for reading this very, VERY, *VERY*, long comment! :D
Hey Matt there is a star that can make the enemies become stronger and make 1.5% expensive and there is 1-3 lvl of star 3 make even stronger and 2% expensive and when you beat doombringer then you will get something good that can help you. Hope that’s help matt😊
Hey Matt!! Lovin the series, not sure if this is going to help you but it might. For Chapter 2 i recommend you focus on upgrading your bank income, as stage 10 can be very annoying! Subchapters, the first one is Incredibly easy! i recommend you to do 2 subchapters in 1 video. (the first and the second) because the first takes 5 minutes as it only has 6 stages that are really easy with no boss. and gives a lot of xp, The second one is also easy with no boss and gives a TON of xp!!! Chapter 2 should be done after completing the 1st and second subchapters, atleast thats the way i did it. One more thing, you can actually get a diffrent cannon that is better than the regular, Gatling Or slammer! *gatling is best*
Fun fact Doombringers raging is probably a reference to their other game raigforce in which if you beat raiging time you get the friend in the battle bricks it does nothing but his alt form is kinda decent though you should get your subscirbers to help you with raigforce as it is VERY painful
little bit of a correction here no, doombringer's rage is not a reference to raigforce, that game came out a year after doombringer was added also raigforce is currently impossible due to how strong the enemies are and also the constant spawning of grimace shakes which instantly make you lose when you drink it just wait for when raigforce 2 eventually comes out, that game will be an easier way (and the only way when it comes out) to get friend
Matt, good day to you, brick battler is a pretty good game, it’s not the most complicated game, just saying the black enemies require damage over tanks.
I HIGHLY Recommend To Fully Upragde The Speed Battler But Not Using The Alt Form, You Can Grind Alot In Rocket Arena (Jetrock) I Will Take You 1M 04s Normally. Spam Speed Battlers And Healer Battles Then You'll Get A Perfect Win and a 4000 XP. Hope This Helps With Your Grind
Hey Matt! Congrats on beating chapter 1! Since you’ve beaten chapter one, you can now revisit chapter 1 on starred difficulties, up to 3 stars. They have effects similar to changes in empire of cats chapters (higher costs and stronger enemies), and once you beat a chapter on 3 stars, you get a miniature version of the boss of the chapter! They’re also strong against the next chapter’s trait, too, so if you think you can take it on, I highly recommend it.
Hey Matt, I recommend getting grenade battler and his alt form since they're very useful for getting enemies past tanks. P.S. could you read the almanac for the enemies too? might be helpful since it tells you about their stats too.
Hey Matt love the video i have tips that might help abit. The star mean that you will complete a chaoter a second time the xp for completing a stage will increash and you will be able to get brick again but for every star (max to 3 star) the enemy will get their stat increash by 50% in total they will have 2x hp,dmg. If you beat a 3 star of a chapter you will get the final boss as a unit. You should consider upgrading trowel battler since he is the meatshield in the game just don't use the alt form cuz it suck. Also later on through the chapter you need to upgrade your base trust me it important.
Regarding the star system, each star increases difficulty, making enemies stronger and allies cost more, it lets you get more xp and claim the bricks again from stages. Once you beat doombringer on 3 stars, you get a new unit
hey mattshea, if you didn't know already there is an orange triangle with an exclamation mark on the top left corner when you're in level selection, if you click it will show all threats on that stage, if there's an enemy that you hadn't seen before it'd be blacked out until you beat the stage it's introduced in, you can also see enemy magnification precentage,, max enemy limit, distance between bases and enemy base hp.
Hey Matt I recommend you play 2 star chapter 1 then 1 star chapter 2 before going to anything also check out the little battler at the corner he gives good tips and also the badge button it shows u something cool
Imma js say this theres are extra harder level of this on 2 star on top left that will buff the enemy dmg hp and base hp and also make your units cost %50 more so i recommended getting your units a higher level before doing so but i suggest doing chapter 2 for the fun of it.. as a person who completed both chapter 1 and chapter 2 i enjoy your content
Also you should really upgrade your base hp because it’s going to be very useful later so you can tank stronger enemies to upgrade your bank or wait for units to recharge
Edit: I realise something missing here. so I'll add in the edits. Being REALLY greedy is game key here. In most strats, they basically keep waiting until a unit is close. (Not the strongest unit/boss) JUST to get enough bank level to be insanely rich. Using the WANTED thing that gives you cash when an enemy is defeated is ONLY useful against strong or good enemies, so your only way of getting really good money is by upgrading the bank as fast as you can. Meatshield are too Overpowered to stalling in this game, so please, Get cheap and quick unit that spawns really fast and does good stalling. And MAX YOUR UNITS, NOW!!!! I don't need that many information since almost all the comments have already sended it but: Stars : there like crowns, however, theres only 3 stars and there the ONLY thing that could increase the cost of sending units. You also get a little version on whatever boss you do. (only if you beat 3 stars) Chapters: chapters are chapters. (Duh) they are chapters, with different stuff, different enemies, and TRAITS. Trait: There traits, you know what those are. Tumore: tumore is a huge secret 150% harder than normal. it does give alot of exp though, (almost double I think??) and just like Chapters, Stars give you units, to be specific, TUMORED units. (Think of it as crazed versions.) BE WARNED, Im probably wrong, but 60%+ of players haven't beat chapter 1 3 stars tumored. What you get: More level caps (5 levels each chapter beaten [only star 1. it can't increase when you do 2 and 3.]) Better units (ESPECIALLY lil' bosses.) And Lots of bricks (There necessary.) Suggestions on what you should do next: START BEATING SUBCHAPTERS!!!! Seriously, they give alot of bricks and some really easy to do! Events in this game just stay, but incase they stop keeping them. Beat them quickly! (Not saying you should stop to the main chapters, just do them incase.) SPEND YOUR BRICKS ON NEW BASES!!!! new base/cannon (Base has investor, and the other 3, while cannon has gatling, slammer, and recoil[beaten from a subchapter] ) Are really, REALLY important, I recommend investor, then either gatling or recoil. Slammer got a HUGE nerf, so get those 2 first instead. finally, KEEP YOUR XP!!!! If you get something powerful, you upgrade that to max. theres some bad units so keep it unless either the comments or the wiki says so.
Hi Matt, just a quick tip for canons and banks. Cannons can be very powerful and key to beating a stage, and eventually the default cannon becomes the worst out of the bunch. This also applies to banks, but not as much because all them are viable (except maybe powerhouse). Also some banks and cannons are only able to be obtained through subchapters. Been loving this series!
Very nice, remember in the first video for this game you were looking for the giga chad mode? Well something like that is unlocked now, just find a way to activate it. That purple gear is kinda sus.
Hey Matt, congrats on beating doombringer! And you unlocked 5 more levels for your units, and 2 more levels for base upgrades, and 2 stars! Now, this point of the game is where upgrading your base is more important than ever, as units get more expensive, and enemies are more stronger. I Reccomend upgrading: income, unit limit and recharge first cannon power, early eco second bounty third base health, bank capacity last (got this from a friend and it helped alot, and i hope it does the same to you) To get enough enough xp to upgrade your units? send paintmaster to the hospital multiple times 🤑🤑🤑
Hey Matt, something I recommend is to focus a lot more on upgrading the base itself rather than units for a little bit, more specifically Bank Income and Cannon Damage. The payout from it is usually better because when you compare the upgrade prices to something like a titan battler, you get a lot more benefits from an income upgrade for example than a simple +100 HP to titan battler. Also side note, the reason Doombringer kept killing you wasn't just because he was too close, but it was because he has base destroyer meaning the damage of his shockwave was multiplied by 4 to your base and it simply didn't have enough HP to tank it. I believe a level 4 base HP is enough to not die to it on 1 star. ALSO another note, Sword Battler's alt form is pretty good for chapter 2.
Pro tip: Do not neglect your bank and base, in many cases you will have to tank with the base to jump start the economy. Try upgrading incomme, capacity and base hp, it will help you alot when you need to hoard cash and lure in the enemy closer for a counter attack in some situations.
Mattshea gg on chapter 1 i heavily recommend you to upgrade some of the base upgrades because it seems lacks in base health and unit limit. those are the main reason why doombringer on 2nd phase just kills your base. this could be helpful for chapter 2 or further chapter 1 star 2
Hey Matt! Here’s a tip i use to do for grinding XP. In Rocket Arena (with the rocket launcher guy) you can most of the time win by spamming speed battlers. But I did this with high level Speed Battlers, so maybe level it up beforehand.
A riddle to matt : The most daunting trial adventurers fear is the first thing you meet on your hunt. Beware for those who are proud and foolish, they shall be trotted and humbled. The scars of your battles shall pain you once more. Plans and armies worthy of the goddess of strategy herself, Athena. Those who use the same route shall be fools. To activate what you seek, think of what you’ve done in all your battles that led you to glory. Be warned once more for the final time, you have chosen this path.
matt, i beg that you look at some of the almanac entries. some of them are funny, and a few give some interesting info about the units, and can show you their stats. also, the boss you beat, doombringer, was based on a old roblox admin. please continue the series!
Matt, after getting past chapter 2 lvl 5 PLEASE get telamon battler (titan alt) because he can be used as a tank by himself and also better with healer. Also, you might want to get different cannons or banks, i recommend investment for where you are right now. Psi's alt form is extremely good for single target damage, so i think you should get his alt. btw healers are really fast so send titan before the healers so they dont die. (edit: sailor battler is from stage 10 chapter two and expo battler is a super rare i believe, so you can replace expo with a different one if you want) also i have some nice tips for chapter two, everything is mostly area damage in the chapter, so get ranged units such as mafia krip (krip's alt) vulcan battler (expo battler alt) or pirate battler (sailor battler alt). also note that there are going to be EXTREMELY tanky enemies in chapter 2. The stars for chapter one go to three stars, and when you switch, everything gets more expensive and harder in general. If you beat all 3 stars, (double price, enemy hp, and dmg) you get a special unit in the "badges" section in the main menu. chapter one is lil' doombringer at the moment, and he is very defensive. his alt is little deathbringer, which is more damage output, halfway into chapter two would be a good time to try to beat 3 star doombringer.
Tip: there's a red triangle with a question mark on your upward left corner. Click on it to know what enemies will come out on the stage. The alamac tells you what the enemy does while stage info tells you it's stats with stage multipliers
Hey Matt, to prepare for ch2, do keep in mind the chapter 2 enemies gain increased damage upon reaching half health, and do a small damage explosion, they also have the red trait so motorbike does more damage to it.
Hey mattshea love you're vids also here is some advice for a quick 5k if you use maxed speed battler *not alt* with kamikaze you can speed through rocket arena all you need to do is spam speed battler and every once in a while use kamikaze to shred through the boss, base and the backliners
Matt. Alt form of medic battler heal in group AND heal in function of target damage : you can see in ocasional mode (10% less xp) the healtbar of units in fight and the titan battler got heal by hundred of hp by the alt form of medic battler 👍
You should upgrade your bank if youre in a stalemate. Finish upgrading trowel, your choice about sword. Its very cheap to upgrade as well. The warning sign at the top left tells you the strength of the enemies, what enemies will show up, and the cannon theyre using.
Here's some stuff you can do for the next episode, you can do 2 star chapter 1, it will increase enemys hp, damage and unit cost will increase by 50% but on 3 star it will be really difficult bc all the enemys (including bosses) ho and damage and the unit cost will be doubled but once you complete it you can get lil doombringer, you can claim him in the badge section, if you can get him to lvl 10 you unlock is tumore version (wont be spoiling more of chapter 1 tumore). Btw of you click the triangle with a question mark in the middle in the top left below the level select bar you can see what enemies you will encounter, the enemies you haven't encounter will be blacked out. If you beat the level with a non encountered enemy you can see him in the almanac. I will also spoil some of chapter 2. In chapter 2 there will be a lot of red units so you can use anti reds for this chapter but on tumore mode you need even more anti reds. Also the 1st boss and 2nd boss of chapter 2 is pretty easy but the final boss you will need some tanks, ranged anti red units, meatshields, and some backline destroyers. Mattshea if your reading this should I say some spoilers for chapter 3?
Fun facts and tips: i'd recommend grinding jetrock when you beat half of chapter 2 for exp (alao do the 2 star and 3 star stages and you get a special unit) ALSO star systems give increased rewards (exp specifically), but gives 1.5x and then 2x for all. (2 star gives 1.5x exp and all stats are increased for enemies, and 1.5x more cost. And 3 star is 2x) which is like the battle cats chapter system
Yo Matt, I came to tell you that if you want more information about the enemies just press the book near the badges button! This should help you a little..! By the way, if you can get a secret unit in "Raig Force" but you really better not do that so soon...anyway, Doombringer has shield, so try to use things that cheat shield, like titan impacts, Psi and motorcycle, you also have to use Meatshields for Doombringer, like: Battlers and Trowel Battlers, since you will have to beat him in 2 stars and 3, anyways, bye.
You beat Chapter 1! It was bound to happen eventually. Here's a little thing you might have not known, you can press the red triangle with the question mark on it to view the stage stats and what enemies are in it (New not introduced enemies and bosses hidden until after the stage they are in is beaten.) Good luck with Chapter 2!
Matt , the baller battler is a really good tower for its price. At his max level he has 224 hp and does 84 range. His alt. variant gives his 6 range but decrease the hp from 224 to 168 and the damage from 84 to 56. The normal variant is a bit better because his damage output and hp. So make sure to max him out and use it
Hey Matt this is optional but I highly suggest you do it you can check the badges every time you beat a chapter a new badge appears and you can do the challenge and get a really good unit
[You can claim them at the badges section, beside the almanac icon]
So… how do you get each star and wdym 300%?
Everyone starts their chapter at 1 star, in order to progress to 2 stars, you have to beat all stages in that chapter. So for example, you beat stages 1-30 for a chapter. A small star icon will appear on the top left in which you can select the difficulty/amount of stars by clicking on it

Here's a very crucial thing that nobody bothered to tell you in the past.
Upgrading the bank increases cash generation by a LOT. Level 1 - 4 give you barely any cash when compared to level 5 - 8. This also applies to every other bank that you can buy in the game.
Detonator (idk name but its a red bank) doesn't increase money, only capacity and increases the cash when u kill enemys and resets the timer to 1 minute but it gets faster and faster the more u upgrade it
@@Natt268 That's right. Can't forget ignition too.
What about investment
@@MrAnonymous2763 investment gets insane money from around level 8-9 if I recall correctly
Edit: In my experience, upgrading and focusing on one thing at a time is the best approach (From my experience)
Glad to see you playing this game Matt, it really deserves more attention!
About builder, it takes 1.5 seconds to build 1 segment, it takes about 6 seconds to fully build a wall
@@doomsdaymufffin Oops, thanks for the notice kind stranger, my bad
imo you should specify that builder isnt better than trowel but there are times where it is
hey matt, i don't think anyone has ever told you this (since every comment i see talks about units, which is not a bad thing) but there are TYPES OF CANNONS AND BANKS. i will just tell you which cannons and which banks are good for which things:
DEFAULT CANNON -- not used so much, deals mid area damage, good if there's a lot of weak enemies in one spot
DEFAULT BANK -- not used so much either, i suppose it's good if you don't have units that cost a lot
GATLING CANNON -- actually really good cannon! SORT OF a boss killer, since it's incredible single target damage, it's also good cleanup if there's a lot of enemies that have low health and are spammed a lot
POWERHOUSE BANK -- also incredible bank, it's used if you don't want a lot of units but want a lot of money, it increases money output but decreases unit recharge, so you can't get as much units
SLAMMER CANNON -- this thing is a GODSEND. it's incredible area damage, it gives higher base health, however, the cannon does not have global range, but it's area damage makes up for it, really good cannon but it's bad in some situations, it's good when you save up money to upgrade the bank early, so you can just use the cannon while spamming some meatshields so you just don't lose
INVESTMENT BANK -- best late game bank EVER. it doesn't make that much money in early game, but it has 4 extra levels that make this thing so overpowered that i don't even know at this point. very bad for speedrunning, but probably the best bank for late game
TREASURE CANNON -- does not deal damage, however it gives you money if you use the cannon. it also increases the bounty for all enemies on screen, which make them give more money upon killing them, good when you have a lot of money shortages
IGNITION BANK -- kind of like investment, but not for late game. gives you less money, but when you upgrade it then it temporarily makes your units faster. good for speedrunning
ABSORBER CANNON -- spawns a temporary shield, very similar, if not, the same as iron wall cannon from the battle cats, it's good when you don't focus on meatsheilds as much and focus on long range damage more
DETONATOR BANK -- this bank makes it so there's limited time for a match. there's a one minute timer that if drops to 0, literally kills you. you can make the match longer by upgrading the bank, since it resets the timer, but makes the timer go faster. also good for speedrunning
RECOIL CANNON -- good cannon for boss stages. the thing that this cannon does is it knockbacks and temporarily stuns enemies, but the thing about this cannon is that it can knockback bosses as well, but it doesn't deal a lot of damage. literally. this thing deals ALMOST NO DAMAGE.
this took wayyy too long to write i swear
Cool
although probably not too useful to him now, this info is definitely good for the future and beginners. I love this comment.
Never upgrade Detonator unless you need to lmao
From this point on you have 3 choices, you can go straight into chapter 2, explore the sub chapters, or try to complete 2 star chapter 1, stars increase unit cost and enemy levels (they get more health and damage) and if you want to know what completing all the stars do, look in the badges section, you get some pretty cool units
hey matt, small piece of advice, DO NOT NEGLECT BASE HP. there will be some levels where you may need to tank stuff with your base.
like tumore classic subchapyer :sob:
@@Jaocob. Jaocob.??????
most notably, some chapter 2 final boss tumore 3 star strats that still work.
Exactly what I have been trying to say
if you just kill the enemies you wont need base health. until the enemies decide to do global damage that is...
3. If You beat a chapter on 1 star for the first time, your unit upgrade level cap will increase by 5 and base level upgrades will increase by 2
(Chapter 1: Lvl 15 Units & Lvl 12 Base)
(Chapter 2: Lvl 20 Units & Lvl 14 Base)
(Chapter 3: Lvl 25 Units & Lvl 16 Base)
4. Do Subchapters for a bit of xp but also bricks if you want/need to. Most of them are really easy anyways
Hopefully this will help you! Love your content 🔥

Hey mat nice video I got some tips that helped me a TON while playing
1st try to get telamon (Titan alt) for it is really powerful it has more hp and has an ability to regen but trades it's attack speed (A titan can attack twice in 1 telamon attack)
2nd Dual speed coil Dual speed coil is a good staple for my composition as it trades speed for health and damage when he attacks he does knockback allowing you you push back enemies that are wayyy to far
3rd Banhammer battler (Alt form of hammer) Has aoe and armor allowing you to tank enemy ranged target's Here's some money to support you
If this gets a heart, I'm hanging myself
E
(for banhammer battler) That stat is called Armor not Resistance though, you might be talking about Damage Resistance which reduce damage taken in percentage (Banhammer Battler does not have Damage Resistance [green icon stat thing], instead it have Armor [blue shield icon stat thing])
Armor sorts of make incoming weak damage attacks weaker, basically quick attacking unit like Slingshot Battler will do 1 damage to Hammer Batter/Banhammer Battler because they have Armor. ( the slingshot battler can ignore the Armor and do its regular damage if it have much better damage, like Rocket battler, Bomb battler do have high damage to take units with Armor down )
Banhammer sucks as a friendly
@@notconvenientAh thank you I always get confused with Armor and Resistance
These videos are goated
Btw if your battler and speed guy are leveled up enough you can upgrade the base once and keep spamming those 2 guys on the paintball map and get alot of xp
a heads-up, the owner of tbb doesnt really like macroing, so as long as you (say that you) farm exp manually, its chill.

Alt units that might be useful:
1. Builder Battler (Trowel alt):
-has better walls
-has walls that have 6× more HP than his HEALTH
-slower at building walls (1.5 seconds slower than Trowel Battler)
2.Titan's Alt (idk what his alts name is)
-has a real chicken leg
-he can REGENERATE his health when he is damage by eating the chicken leg
-idk his weakness but its good trust
3. Dual Speed Battler (Do i have to say his name)
-higher SPEED
-higher DAMAGE
-has a bigger cooldown
-its ok against titan (if you can spam him haha)
-increased unit price from 200 to 500
Hey Matt, I recommend looking at the enemy section of the almanac because you can learn useful things about enemies, but also just because the enemy descriptions are sometimes funny.
Hey Matt! Love your content!
here's few things you need to do before doing 2 star Chapter 1 or Chapter 2. also, these are things i do first before going to ch 2
Matt, if you finish the first chapter on 3 star, you could get a lil unit which is basically a small version of the boss, all of the lils are real good so I recommend getting them
Its fun watching these kinds of vids because youre the first big youtuber to make a playthrough on the battle bricks
Matt may not be as popular but he still looks like he’s having a lot of fun
HEY DONT SAY THAT IS NOT NICE HES NEW ON THIS GAME >:[
@Samton8907 did that guy replied on the wrong comment
Great job on defeating Chapter 1! If you are confused how an enemy works or want to see the enemy cycle on a stage, please check out the wiki. Very helpful info. (enemy cycle is the order how enemies spawn)
i really like your content matt, heres a little tip: grind for two maxxed out base economy upgrades it will help a lot :)
good job! I suggest buying bucket battler, because he's an extremely good tank/meatshield.
Hey Matt! Just needed to say something. The difficulty ramps up quickly with these new chapters, and even faster doing 2 star and especially 3 star stages. I heavily reccomend trying to atleast MAX half of your loadout before beginning Chapter 2, beware of FIRE damage!
You're officially now an epic gamer11!! congratz
Also the star system works alongside the badges, if you check the badges it will tell you what completing the stars does!
MATT THIS IS GREAT :) you should definitely upload this game often
I've finally found you I remember watching you play battle cats when I was younger and I finally found you after 3 years keep up the great work I'm glad you're still posting
YEAH ME TOO
Please read this.
Menu
(If theres no effects, it will show nothing in the right)
very good info
A good substitute to other meatshields.
matt for the bomb battler strat you need early economy where you get extra money when you start the level, and kamikaze needs to be at the 6th slot where you keep your archer in 6:38
man, I LOVE your battle bricks series.
love your vids btw watched you when you played battlecats
i recomend you try world tower defense
You should try to do some subchapters since they can give bricks or other rewards :D
Hey MattShea, you can try the subchapters to get more bricks and use them on banks or bases.its your choice if you wanna do it
Amazing video! By the way, each chapter you have beaten (on 1 star) will give you more max upgrades like for example if you beat chapter 1 your units can be maxed to level 1. which is what you already did! oh yeah try keep clicking the purple gear when you open the game, there is something special about it.....
Matt, a ulefull tip is to focus on maxing one battler and then focusing on the next.
stars are actually pretty useful to do as every new star difficulty stage has their rewards reset meaning that they give more xp 1st time you clear it and every 5th stage and 10th stages award bricks again on 1st clear, completing all stages on 3 star (300% completing a chapter) also awards you with a lil version of the chapter's final boss that you can claim in badges section
Probably wont read this but,
Upgrading the base is one of if not the most important things you can do. Things such as economy, wallet amount, unit cooldowns or even cannon power can be upgraded which will make stages a lot easier
Can't wait to see you beat 3 star doombringer
Very Awesome! I got some tips for you!
Tip 1: Some alt forms are not always good for certain situations. You can always switch to their original forms if you need them. All of the alt forms have nerfs and buffs from their original form
Tip 2: Once you 300% a chapter (complete all stars) when you go in badges you can claim a lil version of the final boss in the chapter. i dont want to spoil all of them to keep the other bosses a secret besides lil doom since you probobly already know about him!
(if you already know this one skip it) Tip 3: If you click the purple gear (logo) at the start of the game a new mode will pop up: (Tumore Mode) the mode turns all enemies into their alt forms making it harder. I dont want to spoil the bosses or alt forms you dont know to make it more hype when you actually do the mode
Tip 4: I reccomend using Krip (alt form) and Troweler Battler (alt form) since they both do really well! Krip is mostly for dps while Trowler battler is for defense since hes a great meatshield and spammable
Thats all the tips i got i hope they were helpful!
Congratulations on beating doombringer!!!
Matt! You should press the red icon near the stages (near the gray gear too) on upperleft to know what enemies you will encounter, once you fought an enemy you didnt know, it will show up on the stage check thingy (bases, Base hp, enemy lvl will also appear.
Enemy will be blank if you never had encounter it in the first place).
congrats on beating Doomspire Brickbattle :]
Doom has 40 armor on 1 star btw.
yea
Very good tip: upgrade base health, it’s very crucial
Also beat coil chaos (sub chapter) it will give you a canon that will knock back ANYTHING
Matt, you were such an inspiration for me and my brother to start playing battle cats thank you for everything! ❤❤😊😊
17:04 Matt theres a cannon called "Recoil" which is able to knockback bosses, it will be really useful for chapter 2 "tumore" mode final boss
(get ready for an entire essay)
Heart (HP) - you already know what this is lol
Blue shield (armor) - Subtracts damage from the original damage taken, great for quick low-damaged attacks, like from slinger battler. (noted will always take atleast 1 damage)
Green helmet (resistance) - this is similar to armor, except it is a percent, so for example, 50 resistance will take 50% less damage, great for high damaged attacks. (noted will take atleast 1 damage)
Sword - Damage, you know this as well.
Clock - unit recharge
cent symbol - unit cost
I also recommend checking the red triangle to see enemy stats. They can also be seen in the almanac (very useful!), along with some dialogue of their mechanics and your own battler’s stats. (Note, stats in the almanac are always at base stats.)
thx for reading this very, VERY, *VERY*, long comment!
Fun fact
Doombringers raging is probably a reference to their other game raigforce in which if you beat raiging time you get the friend in the battle bricks it does nothing but his alt form is kinda decent though you should get your subscirbers to help you with raigforce as it is VERY painful
little bit of a correction here
no, doombringer's rage is not a reference to raigforce, that game came out a year after doombringer was added
also raigforce is currently impossible due to how strong the enemies are and also the constant spawning of grimace shakes which instantly make you lose when you drink it
just wait for when raigforce 2 eventually comes out, that game will be an easier way (and the only way when it comes out) to get friend
@@bertthestupid2531 ah okok i meant doombringers raging was possibly a small reference
They’re also strong against the next chapter’s trait, too, so if you think you can take it on, I highly recommend it.
like always a very good video, keep up the good work matt
Yo matt you should try out casual mode it gives no xp bonus but shows hp for your and enemy battlers.
You can always switch to normal again later
(Not the strongest unit/boss)
JUST to get enough bank level to be insanely rich.
I don't need that many information since almost all the comments have already sended it but:
Stars : there like crowns, however, theres only 3 stars and there the ONLY thing that could increase the cost of sending units. You also get a little version on whatever boss you do. (only if you beat 3 stars)
Chapters: chapters are chapters.
What you get:
More level caps (5 levels each chapter beaten [only star 1. it can't increase when you do 2 and 3.])
Better units (ESPECIALLY lil' bosses.)
And Lots of bricks (There necessary.)
Suggestions on what you should do next:
START BEATING SUBCHAPTERS!!!!
Seriously, they give alot of bricks and some really easy to do! Events in this game just stay, but incase they stop keeping them. Beat them quickly! (Not saying you should stop to the main chapters, just do them incase.)
SPEND YOUR BRICKS ON NEW BASES!!!!
new base/cannon (Base has investor, and the other 3, while cannon has gatling, slammer, and recoil[beaten from a subchapter] ) Are really, REALLY important, I recommend investor, then either gatling or recoil.
I Reccomend upgrading:
income, unit limit and recharge first
cannon power, early eco second
bounty third
base health, bank capacity last (got this from a friend and it helped alot, and i hope it does the same to you)
To get enough enough xp to upgrade your units? send paintmaster to the hospital multiple times 🤑🤑🤑
my yap levels are to the max
You gotta focus on upgrading bank on early game and focus on spawning units at endgame
Wow, you've reached Doombringer. Congratulations. I want to watch The Battle Bricks videos steadily in the future.
Matt, the star system is if you beat all 3 stars you'll reseve a weaker version of the chapter boss.(in turmore mode you get turmored batlers insted.
Plans and
armies worthy of the goddess of strategy herself, Athena.
Those who use the same route shall be fools. To activate what you seek,
think of what you’ve done in all your battles that led you to glory.
(edit: sailor battler is from stage 10 chapter two and expo battler is a super rare i believe, so you can replace expo with a different one if you want)
also i have some nice tips for chapter two, everything is mostly area damage in the chapter, so get ranged units such as mafia krip (krip's alt) vulcan battler (expo battler alt) or pirate battler (sailor battler alt). also note that there are going to be EXTREMELY tanky enemies in chapter 2.
Hey I recommend using slate skin, leveled up it practically makes your units invincible and will help you for 35 and 40 and basically everything lol
Also I recommend when useing this technique you upgrade bank when speed is on cooldown
Fun facts and tips: i'd recommend grinding jetrock when you beat half of chapter 2 for exp (alao do the 2 star and 3 star stages and you get a special unit)
ALSO star systems give increased rewards (exp specifically), but gives 1.5x and then 2x for all.
Here's a little thing you might have not known, you can press the red triangle with the question mark on it to view the stage stats and what enemies are in it (New not introduced enemies and bosses hidden until after the stage they are in is beaten.)
Good luck with Chapter 2!
Matt , the baller battler is a really good tower for its price.
At his max level he has 224 hp and does 84 range. His alt. variant gives his 6 range but decrease the hp from 224 to 168 and the damage from 84 to 56.
The normal variant is a bit better because his damage output and hp. So make sure to max him out and use it
I never knew you made tbb vids, but since this is my first time seeing this series, i just want to say...beware chapter 2 boss 2
Hey matt!
Theres a button in the menu called streak which gives u free bricks every time u log into the game, the maxiumum is 100 bricks per week!
Hey Matt this is optional but I highly suggest you do it you can check the badges every time you beat a chapter a new badge appears and you can do the challenge and get a really good unit
