Hall of Fame pogo on older games used to mean you could jump on a pump fake and still get a block on the second jump. They clearly eliminated that in this game even on legend which is ridiculous.
absolutely, I feel completely reactionless everytime I contest a shot at the rim and the game needs to complete the animation while allowing the opposing center to grab the board. I went 83 vertical purposely to get it on HoF and it's not helping much
@@Vihloah I think anything >80 unlocks nice animations and I can actually feel a difference between, say, bronze/silver and HoF Pogo for how reactive your player can be when recovering from attempted jumps on defense. I was critical one month ago because I just didn't know how bad reactions were when having bronze. In the past years, Pogo was definitely visible in game. This year, the difference is still noticeable but it might not work as it did On a bigman, I definitely wouldn't go less than 79 board because the animations would otherwise be terrible. You could even have 96 defensive board but with 75 vert, your player can be weirdly unable to perform standing leaps On a sidenote, my favorite type of rebounder is definitely anything 6'6'' or 6'7''. The animations are completely different especially when you attempt to chase boards. Since you are less tall, you get quicker and more responsive leaps. The other day I went into random rec, got put at the C as a 6'6'' and ended with 0 points but 19 boards against a 7'0''. It doesn't speak for much since it's randoms, but the leaping animations are so good even with low rebounding (77 and 82). Didn't even have silver pogo
@@sehrlangsam98 thanks, got a 7’ and was thinking of cap breaking my vert from 80 to 83. I had a 96 off reb and would max +1 to legend reb chaser before cap breaking to 99, and i would get a lot of boards, but i would get outrebounded maybe 30% of the time by my friend with a 6’7 85 reb 82 vert. Especially on my 6’7 lock with 92 reb and 74 vert (1st build mistake.) If 80 is a vert threshold I’m hoping 83 is a noticeable difference
Thanks for this video! I was using my +1 to get it to Legend and thought it felt weak. Hopefully, it gets buffed eventually 🤞 I have more success playing hands-up D so that was a waste!

Yea even on legend it’s ass this year compared to previously
@@sehrlangsam98 how is it now ? And how has 83 vert affected your rebounding ?
