- This is final episode of building a Milling head for my machine so the first stage is behind me.
Everything works well so it's a succes.
I put my milling head on makeshift stand to use it as drill press
Now I can start building of next machine part.
I am a machinist by trade and this is by far one of the most appealing of these DIY mills. Thank you!
That gear needs an award!! I'm amazed by your hard work and dedication, very inspiring! :)
I'm really enjoying your Mill build series. Thank you for taking the time to record it, edit it and make these videos for us to watch.
I'm glad to hear this from you
You have the basics of your mill! Very nice! And the best part is that as you make the rest of the mill you can refine anything that you do not like. Make it better. So many skills learned through this. A very nice project to watch. Thank you for making and sharing your video.
I'm very pleased reading your comment
This is very time consuming project, especially when I have only basic tools. Seems like it gonna be a 20+ episodes series BUT I want to build the best, fully operational DIY mill on UA-cam ;)
@@SteelCraft99 I think even if someone had the time no one could come up with anything this good! This is amazing Man U are such a talented bloke
Great job so far keep up the great work
Incredible!! Such excellent work my friend.
You are doing (did) amazing work. Thank you.
Coming along nicely! We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week :)
Man you are something else. You are cut from a different cloth. I mean turning a shaft using methods reserved for woodworking n non ferrous materials. That was amazing as well as dangerous.
Before someone invented tool post for metal lathe, everything was turned "from hand" ;)
To be honest, I think it's safer to turn steel using this metod than wood, because wood can drag your chisel into material
Thanks!
@@SteelCraft99 didn't know that wood drags the tool. I thought steel would be draggier. Anyways
Man ua up there with those guys, the ones who started it all.
Good luck. It was nice to find it channel. I can say luck. Liked the methods of ur work. I will looking upto more content from you. All the best👍
On my many UA-cam travels, I have not come across a DIY build like this. There are some amazing DIY Milling projects out there! But I have not come across a project that I wanted to work out as much as I want(ed) yours to work out!! Not even a drill press. I know from experience how shitty it is to have to use a hand drill like you did! I am a welder by trade and some of your welds I have to turn a blind eye! BUT, I will by no means criticize anything you are doing. May I tell you why? Because you HAVE MADE a milling machine, and I have NOT!! So bravo to a creative mind and skilled hands!!!!
You're right my welds are really shitty, I'm not hiding that fact haha , It's just lack of practise.
I made only milling head, whole machine is still waiting for my free time.
Thank you very much!
Please consider subscribtion to not miss futher videos about this machine in the future ;)
@@SteelCraft99 I have subscribed and await the next video of the Milling machine.
Please do not take offence for my comment about your welding. I do it for a living, and still weld shitty welds from time to time!! I will never humiliate (or try to) for someone on UA-cam for bad quality workmanship (though, good workmanship is always a bonus) for one reason only.... They HAVE built it, whatever, and I HAVEN'T. Plus, what many people forget, is that people do these things as hobbies, not jobs! And then they are brave enough to make a video of it and post it up on UA-cam!
So bravo to you!
Great work
Thank you!
Very good ..make a cross sliding table for it ..
Big respect From Morocco
Wach Dr Zakir Naik’s videos :)
I mounted this milling head temporary , I will build rest of machine in next videos
amazing level of work. really excellent.
Thanks!
Przystawka kątowa to gotowa przekładnia PMRV 025.

However l really like your work and am happy to watch
And I planning homemade milling machine too
Literally yesterday I watched your first video about milling machine. Good luck!
great results.
Cara você é um gênio....👏👏👏👏👏👍🇧🇷
Great job , what are you using for the " fine feed " gearbox ?
Thanks
Gearbox is PMRV 025 1:40 ratio
Super! Leci sub i like!
Would be nice to have a set of plan drawings
Maybe one day...
👍
👏👏👏👏💪👍💥
Look like dc movies too darkness and feels like hopeless
Brighter than previous videos , now only way to make it better is mount more lamps in workshop..
It's not a studio ;)
Thanks for your comment
Wast of time you will not be able to get consistent repeating dimensions, sorry awesome effort
Why? This is only head of machine please wait with your opinion untill I finish whole machine ;)
