Hey Rich, Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I was wondering how long I should keep the heat gun on the chip - I do have a laser thermometer I can use to monitor temperature of the chip.
Hey Rich! I have a full size x32 that the ethernet port for network control has died. (once the console boots the yellow light stays on constantly with or without an ethernet cable plugged into it.) I don't think I want to try and just buy a ethernet port and solder it in. I would rather buy the whole motherboard that you were putting the daughterboard into in this video. Where are you sourcing your parts?
Just resoldered the chip (LAN8720A) and everything is working now. Apparently hot air was not enough, and I needed to resolder with the pen. My issue was a damaged ethernet port due to PoE injection (theoretically no issue but as I can see, it damaged the transceiver (LAN8720A)). Changed a 1€ part and now is working. No need to buy a new MCU. X32 Rack. @richthefixer
@tinotonestudios7778 vor 0 Sekunden Hello! I have a problem with my Behringer x32 Producer. It reboots all the time (just showing the x32 Logo and reboots) If i take out the X-UF Card it boots just fine. Do you know this problem?
Hey Rich - great videos! Thank you so much! Do you have a recommendation for sourcing Behringer X32 parts?

Well depends on the temperature and checking the chip
@@richthefixer I have my rework station set to 350 F - I was wondering if there's a target temp for the chip?
@@joelgeisert yes I set mine @350
Look for the atmega firmware on the x32 output pcb board

I just google the net, but nothing is available now. But I can check. Please send a video of the issue to yarddie83@hotmail.com
Had the same issue. Changed the ethernet transceiver chip (LAN8720A). And nothing happened. I'm buying a new MCU. Did you solved it?
@@Jorge_Frutos mcu is the issue. Mcu control the function on the ethernet port
