Jaren Jackson Jr is an exciting shot blocker and he can score inside and outside. However, he needs to rebound better which really showed with Team USA in the recent World Cup where the lack of rebounding was a problem and Team USA didn't even medal.
He’s a horrible rebounder 😂 softest 6’10 man I’ve ever seen and it’s sad because he’s built like an NFL player. Even KAT is tougher than Jaren Jackson on the boards 😂 2k got his rebound rating lower than half the SFs and 30% of the SGs got higher rebounding and rightfully so 😂
@@MrBubblecake Jackson has averaged 5.5 rebounds a game for his career. Fail.
But, when you shuet a good number of 3s, your rebounding can suffer. Not always, but it can. But, his rebounding and scoring are improving; at last check, he's at 8 RPG...
@@pattrell5257 Offensive rebounding, if you're always at the 3 line on offense, can be effected but not defensive rebounding. Plus, JJJ doesn't always play out at the 3 line. His rebounding numbers should be better given his size.
@@jingqi9106 He shuets about 5 threes a game; that's more than some pure shueters and in the neighborhood of most 3-PT shueters.
And, his totals are reflective of what you said. He has 6 out of 7.6 on the Defensive end. Shueting as many 3s as he does; he may never get a lot of offensive boards. Very good rebounders(not the truly great ones) usually have an off/def total that combines to make maybe 9-11 per game. That can be 7 and 4 or 6 and 5 to make 11 RPG for examples. However, he's almost completely missing half of that...Still, he is improving gradually. Maybe in 2 or 3 years he'll be close to 10?

as a memphis fan i hope u right but honestly im more then happy for us to regroup and come back next year and remind peeps of who we are. I just really hope we dont tank this season as there is genuinely no one good tanking for next season.
