Everything you said is exactly my life. But what got me was . How do I feel before and after with him? I told my sister that I didn't understand why when we first see each other we are so excited and we have so much fun... But, when it time to go we get mad at each other for some really dumb reason. Looking forward to the new. Virgo is not welcome back in my life. He wanted space and freedom but 5 minutes later he's in a new relationship. My intuition strongly tells me he's not happy and will be back. He's a broken person and wears his mask very well, but if he doesn't heal his past fears and insecurities he will continue to perpetuate the same cycle in other relationships. It's sad the damage some people can cause because they refuse to heal and look to others and material possessions for their happiness.

Just up and left because he wanted space and freedom which he had plenty of. Weekends away with the boys, working late every night. He had everything but it still wasn't enough. My only conclusion is that he likes the chase. Once he has what he wants he moves on.

The burger comment was oddly relevant for me, as I have just made burgers this evening for the first time ever and am waiting for them to finish cooking (and as is not unusual for me I am using an 'experimental' mixture of ingredients - why recreate the wheel, eh?). I believe that it’s of utmost importance to pay attention to how you feel before, during, and after having interactions with others. With the Virgo about which I’m thinking this reading pertains, I always felt good abt myself when I was with him. When his behavior became sexual, I had to end our connection bc he is married. I felt guilty and stressed abt the whole situation and had to end things. We worked together and it was really difficult to end our personal relationship but keep our professional relationship. We’ve never discussed anything abt what happened. He transferred to a different unit but at times, we work together on projects. I don’t like interacting with the boss who replaced the Virgo and want to transfer to a new department. The Virgo made it clear I would be reporting to the other boss and wouldn’t ever report to him again.
He’ll retire in 2 years anyway. He’s been married for almost 40 years. He ain’t going nowhere! I accept that we are done. I wish things could have gone differently, but I later found out he was having an affair (or two) with someone else at work. I think he was with her the whole time he pursued me. I’m glad I never fell for his trap.

As an officer, after our brake up, a restaurant gave me free burgers during nightshift that really helped me survive.
