Building Tips:
1. Use the cheat console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C
Input Cheat Codes:
bb.moveobjects
bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects Once you have activated this cheat enter DEBUG in the search bar to bring up the objects. Objects exist in build & buy mode.
2.To avoid a grid when placing objects, all you have to do is select an object and press the ”ALT” keyboard button. While holding that button, you can move around your selected object anywhere, as long as it doesn't touch another object or a wall. You can also rotate objects for 360°
3.Press the Right Square Bracket Key [ to size up an object and the Left Square Bracket Key ] to size down an object.
4.The object will move up incrementally, so keep hitting 9 until it is at the height you desire. To lower the object, press 0. If you have your game set to “Sims3” camera controls, you need to hit CTRL+9 and CTRL+0 at the same time. - Ігри

love this concept of moving in, and your transitions and editing are so smooth. I never build without cc anymore, but you always find a way to make in-game items work. this build really has an american family home feel. thanks for sharing!

Прекрасная постройка) очень похоже на реальный американский дом. Единственное, на что хотелось бы обратить внимание, в американских домах, как правило, вход из гаража ведёт на кухню. Чтобы было легче из машины продукты тащить на кухню))) и часто они строят небольшие кладовки на кухне. Pantries. Особенно в домах для большой семьи)))
Finally a family house I would like to play in. It's cozy, but not too cluttered or a too wild floor plan.
Lot of really beautiful houses are nice to look at, but for me personally it's often too much to play in.
(I don't mean any creators in particular.)

Still need to wrap my head around making garages at different levels than the rest of the house like that. Builder seems uncooperative.
Platforms are good for that. Build the garage as a building on the ground, then build the house on platforms! If you use more than one story, the platforms can cause a little shadowing on the upper floor, but aside from that, I think platforms are the easiest way to do it.
