- Playing against players with pool 3/4/5 cards with my little pool 2 deck (+maximus) has been a challenge, but this deck is much like the David to their Goliath... use it wisely. Another good 1 cost card to play would be Titania (but it is in series 3). Goose could also be quite strong in this deck...

Thanks for this. I have been struggling for about a week with my Zabu deck, dropping from 68 to 58. I put this deck together yesterday (substituting in Nova and Night Crawler for Blade and Iron Fist), and I am slowly climbing back up the ranks.

Dropping sunspot early can also draw out a kilmonger early so your opponent doesn’t drop it at turn 5 or 6 taking out all the 1s you saved especially if sunspot is buffed a couple points

No, if I see sunspot, I save my killmonger for later, to give them false sense of comfort. This deck loses to killmonger on turn 5 or 6
@@MrAmisto yeah if you have the right combo of cards. I’ve been playing this deck a lot these last 10 days and only one person saved kilmonger for 5 or 6. Most people have “good cards” lined up for turn 5 and 6 that if they save kilmonger they can’t play one of their power cards because most peoples decks are set up to do what it’s intended to do on turns 5 and 6. But yes if someone saves kilmonger for 5 or 6 they win.

Thanks for this! It is TONS of fun!! At the end of last season I was close to quitting the game as it just wasn't much fun to play (I lost 10+ levels [from 58 to 48-ish] in the last two days of the season). But I'm having fun with this deck! Maximus is a favorite as it seems to clog up some of the destroy/discard decks I see but Bishop is the HERO. Strong Guy could also work well, I think in place of Maximus. I like to use Sunspot to draw out the early Killmonger, or play Ant Man early as neither of those plays give away any useful info to your opponent.
One of the biggest advantages (I think) is that your opponent almost always underestimates this deck by T4 or T5 and T6 (and even an occasional T7) takes them by surprise when it is a 4 or 8 cube winner. Also a T6 Killmonger or Shang Chi is not a cube loser with this deck, I have survived about 5-7 different T6 attacks from those cards when I had the advantage (opponent went last). First day of this season, I went up 12 levels in just an hour or two and I estimate it had a 85% win rate with most losses or retreats coming because of bad card draws or poor locations.
Great deck and great guide! Used this shell to climb to climb from bronze to infinite (just started a few weeks ago and I'm at 434 collection level). Didn't have Okoye or Maximus so I swapped them out for Elektra and Uatu.
Elektra is ESSENTIAL in this deck in my opinion. Consistently gives HUGE turn 6 swings in a meta where every deck runs ant man and sunspot.
Uatu is great too because often times you're deciding on which 2 locations you want to dump into and drawing that early Uatu can give you a lot of info on which locations you want to play into or avoid.

I love this deck. Having lots of fun with it. I used Titania instead of Maximus (don't have him yet) and seems to be working out
I find that Strong Guy makes a good Maximus replacement - you’re quite likely to be able to empty your hand on turn 6, especially with Blade, and that makes him a 4/10 card.

Alex talked about thus for Pool 1/2 where you Blade on Turn 5 to setup the absolute Strong Guy. It indeed is a fine play.
Wolfsbane and captain America do similar points also
If you're running iron fist sometimes you can get away with ebony Maw as well, tho if you're trying to play all of your 1s late, he's kind of anti synergy

Just hit inifite with this deck. 70s was a struggle and almost gave up until I FINALLY understood the importance of going second in the last round - whole deck hinges on this. Sure, got Killmongered a few times but it's pretty easy to tell if they have one but once you have that priority thing figured, the deck goes a long way. Only change I did was to get Electra in there - super fun spoiling a lane with her on last turn... Thanks Freddy!
How do you know they have a killmonger?
How to going second last turn? Isn't cards played simultaneously?
@@Moonlit_Melody If you are winning less locations or have less power overall, your cards will be revealed after your opponents. This means on the last turn when you play all your 1 energy cards they won't die to Killmonger.

With iron fist and night crawler you can give Angela an extra 4 power by moving the cards, with kraven and vulture you can add it up like crazy. Used iron fist after rocket used his reveal and boom instant power play. Thanks very much
Thank you so much for this deck, but especially the clear strategy. I have used it to climb 3 full ranks and beat many a whale lol. The best part is it keeps your opponent guessing. They have no idea what's coming on turn 6
If your opponent has no idea what is coming on turn 6 with kazar and blue marvel on board then they are a terrible snap player.
This is not a good deck as it has no counter play. The only reason this works at all is because the game is so varied right now and there is no true meta.
@@jacobmarley2417 Well it's a good enough deck (and strategy) that I've gone up 3 levels with it. They may see Kazar and Blue Marvel, but they are not usually expecting a huge drop of 1 cost cards on turn 6
@@Mysteriousfrittata Anyone who is above 50, let alone 60 elo will immedeatly know what you are trying to pull off. In Higher elo people see right through your gimmicks and also dont use Killmonger immedeatly like noobs to kill sunspot, they wait and make you guess their hand. This deck is great snowball deck, but in 80+ with it? Good luck buddy.
Great deck went up 10 ranks in an hour. Swapped blade for Tatiana, first time i have ever used her. And subbed in human torch for rocket.
I just gave this deck a go and got the dub! I don't have Maximus, Sunspot or Okoye, so I've subbed in Captain America, Elektra and Uatu. Nice and simple deck 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing!

This deck is awesome! I'm pretty far into pool 3 and I must say this deck is a huge cube winner. Honestly astonishingly so. I swapped blade for human torch, just because he can hit 4 with iron fist or 6 if okoye hits him. Hilarious how such a simple early deck can be so great vs pool 3 complete lists. I Always trust Freddy's takes in card games. Cheers 🍻!

My husband uses your deck and has shot up in rank. I don't have much luck with it, but I think it's fabulous.
I run a similar deck. I run Electra in place of iron fist to protect against other sunspots and I run shang chi in place of max for overhead protection. It probably gets a 65% win rate or better.

I built and played this exact deck as soon as I finished watching this video. My opponent had a destroy deck and played Killmonger on turn 6. I still win because of Angela, Maximus, and Blue Marvel.
I prefer the mogwai variant where u use falcon to retreat your cards to double up on Angela and bishop

I run a zoo deck but w/o Blue Marvel and Kazaar :-) It relies on Dracula + Infinaut for one strong lane and stuff like Angela, Jessica Jones, Strong Guy, Bishop and Ant-Man for another one. It's nice to finish the game with a 20 power drac plus +4 from JJ plus +6 from SG plus whatever else I can get with the remaining 2 energy last turn. The only problem is that I must draw both Drac and Infinaut; if not it's a 100% retreat.
Reach now lvl 41 from 31 with this ty man ❤️
I use a similar list but use use falcon (i don't have beast, so i can't really try it) so i can infinitely buff angela and bishop, with 1 mana cost, and america chavez for consistency, and good turn 6.

I've been playing a similar deck with bishop being the centre of the deck. I named it buffshop cause I like silly names. This gives me some good ideas for updating my deck tho.
I was wondering why you don't have a Nightcrawler for the 8 power Angela. Then I realised that if you want to play the one drops on the last turn, than you won't be able to move him anyway.

I’m in pool 3, and this is almost exactly the list and strategy I‘ve been running, except my list has Zero, Titania, Goose, and Mystique in favor of the 2 and 3 cost cards in this list.
I was considering Mystique as well. So, do you drop her in the final turn, then - copying Blue Marvel's ability, and just play a few more 1 drops during the early turns?
It all depends on what you draw into. If you draw KaZar but not Blue Marvel, Mystique can replace him. If turn 2 you have Goose, turn 3 you can Mystique the Goose and shut down 2 locations you plan on winning. If you drew KaZar, Blue Marvel, and Mystique, chances are you didn’t draw 6 1-costs, so you can instead turn 6 Mystique (copying Blue Marvel) and buff all your other cards further, on top of playing 3 1-costs.
IMO, Armor shores up games vs Destroy style decks. It is nice to slam Sunspot -> Armor. Also, Armor your Ant Man/Angela lane too.
But, depending on the Location-of-the-Week, everyone should definitely have a flex slot. And don't be afraid to make your flex slot Bishop/Maximus if there is obvious tech for that location.
*Maximus -> Swordmaster (if you don't have Max that is). Plays in all the same Cosmo, and Round 5 scenarios.

I made it to infinite with pool 1 and I think one pool 2 card in a couple weeks maybe like 10-12 hours. It's very easy because it seems like I mostly only played against other people who only have pool 1-2 cards. I hardly faced stuff like silver surfer, but it happened once in a while.
I run almost the same deck except I have nightcrawler instead of maximus as I don't have maximus but nightcrawler is great to get a late move of power if needed.
what's crazy is this holds up into Pool 3 and even Pool 4/5 cards - Kitty Pride subbed for Sunspot and dropping Blade for Titania ups your ability to build up CRAZY power by the end

Holy freelo Batman. Went from 52-60 in an hour. Only two games I lost I retreated losing a single cube each time.
This was actually the strategy I use last month to hit infinite but this month somehow I could not continue to do it with this deck so I change.
Your match making is also based on your level

New player. Maybe started 2 weeks ago. No Blade, Sunspot, Okoye, Iron Fist or Maximus. So going with Yondu, Elektra, Cap, Hawkeye and Nightcrawler.

I have just had a few games with the deck and it went very well and was great fun to play. Thanks. I was thinking do you think there is logic behind quinjet in the deck which may allow a late Blue Marvel or Kazaar draw to work or make a turn 6 sunspot quite effective.
I'm confused... Quinjet makes cards that didn't start in your deck cost 1-less energy. This deck doesn't draw cards from anywhere.

I'm confused though as your opponent seemed to move his Carnage and play Ant-Man next to it and I can't see any card or location that would allow them to do that time stamp starting at 18:55.... how did he move his Carnage ?
Space stone that carnage ate instantly allows you to move a card at that location next turn on reveal.

A very fun and easy to use deck i must say one thing though would you recommend adding Goose?
Goose and Mystique (in case you don’t draw blue marvel) are great adds to this deck if you have them

I tried this deck still getting beat up on by pool 3-4 cards. lost like 6 games in a row getting overpowered by higher pool decks. I win like on location, but this deck does not have enough power to deal with Devil Dinosaurs, Destroyers, Black Panter, and suped up Venom's that are all over the games meta right now.
Man, this deck is ensane. I have just won against two iron man and two Apocalypse with 18 power for each.
Hey Freddy, any tips on keeping priority with the opponent with this? Do you really just need to chill and wait things out? I find that if I draw my 2 and 3 drops then I'm ahead most of the game making me venerable in the last round.
Sometimes you'll have to make sure you play your blue marvel/kazaar in a location that you're already winning so that the opponent is ahead in the other two, never really playing 1 cost cards earlier than turn 6 (except in unusual circumstances). If you suspect killmonger and opponent is going second on turn , a retreat is usually the play. Hope that helps :)

Would love to see something on how you might cook up something playable. Perhaps around features locations. Think that’s an important part of snap given everyone’s path to a full series 3 collection is a bit different.

Climbed from 38 to 49 in the last couple hours. Woulda been better but i had some dumb snaps i knew i shouldn't do. This game is more like poker than one realizes. I don't have Maximus so I'm running Electra. Had bishop over 20 power a couple times already.

Sure! You might have to change the top end (blue marvel) if it ends up being awkward but it should work
I have played this deck (changing Maximus for Scorpion). I find Ironfist spicy because you can add extra +2 to Angela.
But I found to right twist adding Killmonger to change the board on turn 5, it's great to clear raptors, ninjas or rocks that prevent you to empty your hand. I call it "counterkazoo". I climbed 10 levels in one day (39-49).

Your deck made me climb from 52 to 62 in just a couple hours , I always snap 4th or 5th turn and the players against never see the swarm incoming on the 6th. The only thing I changed was blade for titania and since u drop her on the 6th it’s less dangerous to loose her.

Okoye is better when played on turn 2 / if your deck has synergy with being boosted, scorpion is better when played later in the game. In this deck I think okoye is slightly better but its a very small difference..
How did the carnage move lanes at 18:59 to the antman ?

First game looked promissing with buffed 1 drops in hand, and then the last location was a mindscape (the one that makes you swap hands at the beginning of turn 6)
IMO Shang Chi it's a better replacement for Maximus.

The turn before, Space Stone was played. On reveal, it allows him to move a card that was at the stone's location, NEXT TURN.
Carnage destroyed the stone but the effect was still here, so he could move Carnage the next turn.
