I have the Samsung s10e and my aunt owns a samsung a52 5g and my brother owns samsung a52s 5g. All I can say flagship will always a flagship. Considering the s10e has only 60hz screen and yet it doesn't feel any lag. I tried to compare even the camera but I still prefer the s10e.
My mom had an S9+ and I upgraded her to A53 5G on Amazon for $350. She doesn't play any games so it doesn't really matter but I tried to compare games like PUBG Mobile/Genshin Impact between the two and it was similar, I didn't see the lag like you see int his video. Pros of A53 is you get 120hz refresh rate on Super Amoled, the 5G download speeds were much faster on T-mobile (600-700 mbps near tower) versus 100-200 mbps on Galaxy S9+. Battery life last much longer. The phone is on latest Android 12 and will have updates for 5 more years while her old Galaxy S9+ was stuck on older version of Android and will not get security updates anymore soon. The cameras seem to be better on the A53 and you get 4 total lenses with ultrawide and macro too. She likes it better than the Galaxy S9+ overall.
@@dontlies4985 Well it's subjective but a lot of photos that came out blurry or quite noisy in the dark on S9+ are just fine on the A53. You also have more resolution options, ultrawide lens, macro lens that you don't have on the S9+.
I use s9 plus. And its an unbelievably good phone. Still no lag. Still super fast. Only complain is battery. But the screen is still so beautiful. More resolution than s22 and s22 plus xD

Now that the new devices are here it made thins even more complicated. And then there's M series too I completely forgot about. Too many similar devices I can't keep track of. Was thrilled for s21fe only to foind out it has no sd card slot which is an auto out for me. Will probably just go with s20fe in the end I think. You shoud've used the a53's maximized RAM which is 8GB. The Samsung a53 is set to 4gb RAM as default which is why the phone is a bit laggy and low in speed if unset. My A53 never lags when I set it to its original 8GB RAM..this video is a wrong way of comparison👎
Thanks for this... I ordered a S22+ to replace my aging S9+, only to then learn the S22 and S21 don't support external memory... I use my phone as my computer, need that space, so I canceled the S22. The A53 was suggested as the best new Samsung to use external memory, but after seeing this comparison, I think I will just get my S9+ refurbished... Only problems are 48% battery and some screen burn in, processor functions perfectly! 4y 4m... Any other suggestions appreciated!
One thing to mention is that this phone seems to perform better as you use it. Just a hunch but similar to solid state drives, the device performs better as it learns to execute the same tasks. Again just s guess but it seems to work that way. Amazon didn't open that slow for me. I'm enjoying the phone so far and it was a great upgrade coming from a 7b year old phone. It's not the latest s onbviously but for an affordable phone, it really does the job. For me it comes down to this again, do you want apple or do you want android. I decided to go android this time and I don't regret it so all. Enjoy

Samsung A52s phone I looked at myself, if I know well the display is at the bottom of the fingerprint reader. Fingerprint readers on phones like this can't be used with glass foil? What kind of foil do you recommend for it? I read on one of the glass foil sides that it does not bend over the rounded edge side of the phone ... does this phone have such a side? S9+ has UFS 2.1 means that it has a faster storage. Also A53 is a new phone and its software is not too optimized. You can barely see that FPS drops in Subway Surfers with a 778G variant chip. It is not possible and because of optimisation.

My s9 was a pretty poor performer. Battery and performance were both ass after a year (late 2018 -> late 2019) and had to do a factory reset every 2 months due to bad performance and overheating. It was the exynoss model. Changed to oneplus 8 in 2020 and it was great and just got the s22 ultra a few weeks ago. So far so good, but there is till more lags in the ui than with the oneplus.
Snapdragon phones are always champs in longevity. It's for this that I got myself an s22 ultra snap 8 gen 1,very very better than my old s22 ultra exynos 2200, still the same hardware configuration

Perfect video displaying how annoying the a53 is. You have to tap touch the screen sometimes 3 or 4 times before it registers a response. I think samsung intentionally rigged it this way because in real world cpu tests Exenyos 1280 vs Snapdragon 845. The 1280 beats it. So samsung must have a chip inside the phone that helps the phone lag or they need to release updates to fix the problem. Turning off Vram will be possible in one ui 5 android 13 might help but I doubt it.
