Mike and Judith in Sing (2016) are the darker parallels to Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps and representations of what the characters would have became if they didn't resolve their character flaws through character developments in Zooptoia (2016) similar to Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks in Cars (2006).
I sware. This is EXACTLY WHAT IM DOING ON HERE IS TRYING TO FIND THAT INFORMATION YPU ARE AHEAD OF YOUR TIME AND I SHOULD SALUTE YOU HUN. BUT AIR HUGS INSTEd thank you. The solo was going on and on and I couldn't think of any lyrics ahhhh thank you 10000000 times God bless.
The reason for Mike and Judith absence in Sing 2 (2021) (While Meena still appears in Sing 2 because she redeems herself for her unlikeable behavior from the first movie in the second movie.) because their only roles in the Sing franchise where to serve as anti-heroic characters who go on character arcs in the film and change into better people at the end while also serving as antagonists towards the Moon Theater Family the roles were later taken by Porsha, Suki, Jimmy, Linda Le Bon and Jerry in Sing 2 because Porsha and Suki were considered to be better versions of Judith and Mike because they were not portrayed as anti-heroes (Well, kind of.) and antagonists or jerks towards the other protagonists (Although in Judith’s case it is out of doing her job as a bank representative despite her goals still being antagonistic towards Buster and his friends in the first movie.) to the point where Porsha alongside Clay and Nooshy were able to join the Moon Theater Family at the end of Sing 2 and will return in Sing 3 while it’s unknown if Suki and Darius will do so, and their character arcs and redemption arcs are not forced like Judith and Mike’s but done by heart despite just like Judith and Mike and due to them resolving their character flaws at the end much better than Porsha and Suki almost not being punished or reprimanded for the wrongdoings thru commit in the movie making them karma houdinis and they are instead hero protagonists with character flaws that they easily resolve at the end, after realizing the consequences they can leave behind for their friends in the process, including for Porsha her being bad at acting while Great at singing and dancing although she might get better at acting thanks to lessons from Ash in Sing 3 and her habit of acting like a drama queen and making her own false assumptions about tragic truths behind her abilities and relationships with her friends and family before she could accurately hear what’s going on behind them because of her autism or due to years of living with a cruel father who treats her like trash by spoiling her with luxuries and for Suki her pessimism and cynicism caused by her fear of Jimmy which she resolves at the end of the movie too. Porsha and Suki would also serve as great adoptive sisters similar to Thor, Loki, Nebula and Gamora in Marvel and Fru Fru and Tru Tru in Zootopia Plus, I mean if they are the same age right? Porsha and Suki also have personalities related to Gazelle, Fru Fru, Sam and Nick Wilde’s in the Zooptoia franchise while Mike and Judith’s are related to Duke Weaselton and Bellwether’s correct? Jimmy, Linda and Jerry also remind me of Mr. Big and Koslov and Tru Tru.
The mouse, being a small critter must stand tall in a world of giants. He’s most likely putting up a front and proving to everyone that he has what it takes.
Everyone win actually. Personally, I like Ash the most, but in terms of singing, Mike is my idol with his Sinatra voice, bringing back the classic Blues and Jazz
Mike is such a jerk to literally half of the characters in the movie. He's mean to Meena, he called Ash a moody teenager and made fun of Rosita after she fell down during rehearsal. Hey at least he changed his attitude after Meena started to sing at the end.
Mike from the Sing franchise is basically the domestic mouse equivalent to Duke Weaselton from the Zootopia franchise in terms of being money greedy and everything but while Mike has a girlfriend Nancy, Duke has no known love interests or spouses.
0:12 this is certainly one of the darker ways a character has been bullied. He got mugged by the mouse and the public still sees him as the villain and the mouse as a hero. We see the monkey desperately trying to prove his innocence by emptying his pockets and telling everyone he forgot he had more money but not being spared and getting robbed, shamed and hurt anyway. Not to mention he was suffering from asthma. If this made you feel sad I wouldn't blame you.
I think it's important that we teach kids to go for a career that leads nowhere and force people to give more than they're willing to give. Ain't that right comrade?
If I had a nickel every time a character voiced by Seth MacFarlane demanded money from someone I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Little pieces of our memories go into our dreams along together with our creative side, it's why we sometimes dream about seeing or being with familiar people in strange new places.
Mike: How dare you! I happened to have studied at the Lincoln School of Music! Baboon: You know you’re the fourth panhandler to have said that to me today? Only you’re the best dressed out of all of them and you just barely smell of feces. Mike: They’re called mouse farts pal. Like yours smell like a field of roses.
