It should terrify you to think that something as intellectually destructive as TikTok and Twitter are where young people are going for information. It's an unmitigated disaster, and the guy in this interview is cashing in on it.

Super interesting interview. It really pays to listen to all sides. At least he's consistent on both Ukraine and Israel when it comes to our forever wars. Also, isn't it so true that the Left has become the Right, and the so-called Trump America actually has a lot more in common with the far-left / socialist US (no wars, more social help, protecting workers, etc.)

I love John. I’m exactly the person he says he has tapped into. I may not agree with everything, but he just makes a lot of sense and has a way of making simple points that anyone can relate to.

Can anyone in Genn's audience tell me why no one within the left is debating the 20th-century dogma of social constructivism which seems to be so popular on the left? No one who is supportive of trans/non-binary people is offering a realistic scientific explanation for the biological, neuroendocrine, and neurodevelopmental basis of gender identity which explains why a spectrum of gender identities exists within nature. The only answer frequently given as an explanation for diversity in gender identity is the reductionist idea that gender identity and gendered behaviour is purely a social construct when a biopsychosocial model based heavily on a foundation of biology and neurodevelopment makes far more sense.
I think where ur blind spot is ( you obviously make the “left “ into a simple cartoon ) , is that most people on the left may tolerate the people who have ideas like what u have written but do not hold those fringe beliefs themselves, and they do it in the spirit of inclusion . I’m the “ real “ left and I don’t believe in literally anything you wrote . This is good reason why one shouldn’t be foaming at the mouth assuming things about the so called other side because more than often the talking points you’ve been trained to repeat are not what the other side actually believes . What I do is ACTUALLY talk to actual right wing and conservative people and don’t come into the situation with assumptions, I’m curious and I ask questions so I can really understand what matters to them . I think a lot of the pronoun and trans arguments have been greatly exaggerated to you ( as far as how many people believe in that and how important it is to them ) so it ls easier for to dismiss the other side .
